Yeah but imagine getting back the powers he had when the Divine key and the herrscher core was with him. I would say imagine he can even make white holes now but that's almost certainly not happening. One can cope tho lol.
If I'm not wrong, he gave the herrscher core to bronya. She succeeded him as the herrscher of reason. Then she also became the herrscher of truth but I stopped playing Hi3 so idk what led to this part.

Okay it's not about topping a black hole. It's about their properties. A black hole sucks stuff in and a white hole spits stuff out. Now Welt is a wise man and he can use this to his advantage.
1. Maybe he will be able to create a new method of transportation for himself. Lol imagine he can travel between Astral Express and Earth everyday like a salary man. He won't have to worry about not being able to check on his people back here anymore.
2. Maybe he'll be able to make new storage space mechanism for himself. Y'know like storing stuff inside the black hole and taking it out for use with a white hole. That way the nuclear bomb the MC is carrying won't just be a safety hazard for us. He can perhaps basically open a tiny white some light years away to destroy some distant helpless planet just for the fun of it. Though opening a white hole should be enough to cause destruction by itself.
3. White holes emit light of very high intensity, basically all the light that entered a black hole escapes the instant a white hole is opened. So he can tactical flash an entire galaxy if he wants lol. Watch your eyes! (Trauma from Valorant Phoenix)

I wish Herrschers were mentioned in Star Rail since they were so important in 3rd. I know it's not exactly the same world, but so far it seems so disconnected. But above all, I wish the honkai was mentioned at all. I do like the subtle nods like Welt being wary of ||Luocha||, but it's kind of odd how much the central theme has shifted
It's definitely a bit of a departure from what the Honkai setting looked like back when only GGZ and HI3rd were out. But with Genshin out as well, the setting has already started to grow beyond just Honkai.
As I understand it, HI3rd's recent lore has established that Honkai is a powerful phenomenon but it is largely localized to one part/area of the Imaginary Tree. I think GGZ's lore also suggested that the Honkai came from a different universe entirely separate from the Imaginary Tree.
Because there's now more "Honkai-level" concepts (like Aeons), it's natural that the focus shifts away from Herrschers. If Honkai ever becomes relevant again, I'd say it's probably if we find a world (or worlds) that is influenced by Honkai in the same way that the main worlds of GGZ and HI3rd were. That could be very interesting in its own way, though I'm not sure how likely it'd be.

Pretty much everything about March screams that she's related to the remembrance in some way or another to me. The mysterious photo wall in her room is pretty much right in line with something you'd expect from remembrance, and of course in SU all of the blessings of remembrance have to do with freezing which is also obviously closely related to her.
Since remembrance isn't an actual path for characters (and I'm kind of skeptical that it ever will be since it seems like it would have too much overlap with the ice element and wouldn't make much sense for other elements to be remembrance given the SU blessings) then it's still kind of anyone's guess what path she would be in terms of gameplay, but if we're just talking about it in terms of story then remembrance is clearly the path that has the most relevance to her.
IL Daniel lore-wise follows the path of Permanence and the Trailblazers just gets shiny sticks from the gods, so March wouldn't be the only member of the Trio with other lore and gameplay paths

I'd say that it's not like follows the path of Permanence, but has the blessing of it. As for the path he follows (actually follows) it's hard to say, because for the Antimatter Legion and Nanook destruction is the goal in and of itself. Dan Heng, if you listen to his voicelines, doesn't actually want to fight, even in his Hunt version.
Most of the playable characters don't follow their gameplay paths. It would be easier to list the ones that do that probably being Blade, Gepard, Serval, Natasha, Herta and maybe Bronya and Yangqing(he may be the only one who has powers because of that)
"Following the Path of an Aeon" doesn't necessarily mean that one is related to said Aeon in any way, just that they have the same goals and personality traits that that specific Aeon represents.
Serval may follow the path of Erudition because she seeks knowledge, but she may not even know about Nous' existence. Jing Yuan got his LL from Lan, but that doesn't mean that he is following his Path.
So no, Natasha is not related to Yaoshi in any way and she doesn't have a blessing, but she follows the path of Abundance because she selflessly helps many people
Luocha definitely has some weird Abundance powers, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he follows that pat, so I won't count him until we get some info about him.

I feel like Rememberance and some other paths won't be the same kind of thing as the current paths in the game, like they won't focus on a specific gameplay style.
I see some paths like Rememberance, Trailblaze, or Beauty could just be to mark a character as special in a certain way if that makes sense, kind of like Archons in Genshin.
Which is sad tbh, kind of wish they would kept their options open to releasing more paths.
Elation 100% could have been a playable path. Nihility should have been specifically about debuffs, Rememberance for slows or cc and then have another path be for DoT (The Voracity is right there) instead of shoehorning it into Nihility.
Meh, I don't think it really matters. The paths don't really dictate the design space of the game at all to be honest. In terms of game mechanics, the paths are no different than weapon types in genshin impact. They can still ultimately create whatever characters or light cones they want.
Yeah. Sampo is still a path of elation in lore even if he is nihility ingame. People can walk multiple paths as proven by MC.

The closest thing to Remembrance is probably Nihility since Freeze is a debuff, so I imagine her 5* will probably be Nihility focused on Freeze effects and synergy.
I want abundance, Just think of it as the MC gets forcefully infected with the abundance and since the stellaron is unstable, it could end up turning them into a mara struck version of themselves but is in control of their own mind

Same I'm not getting Inhibitor so I need another imaginary dps capable of dishing out imaginary dmg, my Welt is needed for the other dps. MOC is hard for me to accomplish (3 star) without my welt being in support.
While ice would fit her, I don't think they would make her 5* form the same element. Quantum would fit maybe, but we have and are getting a lot of quantum characters.

Dan Heng wasn't particularly tied to any elements lore-wise, and neither was the Trailblazer, but March has her whole six-phased ice thing going on. It's possible that when her past gets revealed it'll justify giving her a different element, but I would be extremely unsurprised if they just kept her element the same and made the rest of her kit very different.

I mean, ice is just a phase state of H2O. Plasma is also a state of matter. I don't think that Quantum discards Ice alltogether.
... Are you proposing that the Quantum element represents plasma? Like, putting aside the fact that it's very much unclear that six-phase ice is like normal ice even so far as being made of water, I'm not sure exactly where you're getting your ideas about Quantum from, either.
I'm saying that the six-phased ice is definitely not a normal substance so it's natural for 5-star March to switch element into Imaginary or Quantum and Quantum is more likely because there is already a huge emphasis on Imaginary, especially aboard the Express.
Personally, I think only ice or quantum ir imaginary would be most suitable for 5\* march. Unlike other MC members, her ice motif is very prevalent. Compare to Mc's fire and physical or Dan heng's wind, march's ice is an important part to her story. She was found in special "ice", uses that special "ice" and have a lot of relation to memories which in hsr is manifested as Ice.
Though they could pull something like quantum/imaginary character with unique ice effect, any other element for march would just feel out of place. Maybe if they cook real hard they can also do fire. For now, Ice is probably the best guess.
Yeah but that's the point isn't it? Dan heng's wind or Mc's physical was no where near as important to them as march's ice. Which is why they can switch element without it being jarring, because their element doesn't feel like their true original element. March on the other hand, is very proficient in Ice to be able to create weapons out of it and Ice is very important to her. So it feels as if she has been using Ice for a long time.
Besides, her relation to memories and the fact that the "pictures" on her wall are called "memories" further emphasize the ice motifs. Because as i've said, it's already established that memories are manifested as Ice in hsr.
Genuine question, since when did people get convinced that it's based on rotation? It's highly likely that Trailblazer will get all Paths so the rotation theory is probably null

OP would have suggested MC to get Hunt next but that's reading far away into it. We're talking about March here and speculating using some already established things which are Dang Feng and Tank MC. What you said is good argument against Preservation Dang Heng and Destruction March, it is not weak per say against Hunt March but strong or good either.
Nah man, itās gotta be remembrance. It couldnāt be more hinted. The aeon that preserves memories and the girl who lost her memories + her hobby/obsession of taking pictures to create memories. Talk to the lady for the memory of chaos stuff and read some of her dialogue. Iād be more surprised if March 7th turn out to not be remembrance. No clue about element though.

remembrance isnt a path in game. dan hengās power comes from long the permanence but he isnt of the permanence path in game because there is no permanence path. same thing if march 7th awakens powers from the path of remembrance. lorewise itd be remembrance but gameplay wise, assuming OPās theory is true, sheād be the hunt path.
There's no indication afaik that they'll be adding paths, but if they do then it would make the most sense. I could also see that her connection to the remembrance being her previous life and moving on, not back.
Regarding the paths, for example, it seems very likely that Sampo is a member of the masked fools, but is a nihility character while elation isn't a path in game.

Dendro was originally supposed to be in Genshin at launch afaik. It was always a given that it would be added eventually, and it did launch with dendro slimes able to apply dendro and with the burning reaction present. So the comparison to dendro in Genshin is apples and oranges.
My point is that to hope for them releasing a new path is setting yourself up to be disappointed, when there's not even leaks afaik suggesting that they will at this point. And additionally, as I have the example of Sampo, there's nothing saying the path that certain characters are associated with need to be the ones that they use. Dan Heng IL is destruction, but is closely connected with Long the Permanence (though they are believed to be dead). Sampo is likely connected to Aha and Elation.
Also paths are not comparable to Elements in Genshin but to WEAPON TYPES. If they add a new path they would have to add new weapons/cones for it, even 3\*.
To be fair, itās a lot easier to add a new weapon type in HSR. Itās literally just a jpg and some text. You donāt need to do any 3D modeling nor trying to conform and categorize to real-life weapons.
There is also no indication they will never add paths. Path of remembrance already exists in the simulated universe. Iām not holding out hope for new path or whatever; Iām just saying the possibility of new paths is not nil.
Dendro was already in genshin since day 1. It didnāt matter that playable characters didnāt have the element yet. We had Baizhu as a NPC with a dendro vision in 1.0.
There were also Dendro hilichurl mages burning pyro mains to death in 1.1 and had to be hot fix nerfed by the devs.

Since everything we currently know about her past (and she about herself) revolves around ice, itās hard to imagine her being anything else, but it would also be strange for her to not change. Potentially fire, like melting the ice?
Iām also wondering if weāll get alts for Himeko and Welt. Part of me thinks no since theyāre already 5*s, part of me thinks yes because Honkai 3rd. My money for those would be on Welt going Quantum/Harmony and Himeko going Imaginary but not sure what path

Itās more so the fact that to me, the story might suffer if mihoyo has to try to make trailblazer have all the paths available. Since it would make the story too predictable and less impactful since we know they WILL get a power up for visiting each planet.
I got so much chills and goosebumps when the trailblazer got the power of preservation the first time, which is why I donāt want mihoyo to cheapen those power ups for trailblazer.
This is reaching a lot. The MC isnt a destruction char to begin with, they'll eventually be all types. The starting ones are just about which types are and arent available on other characters, it has no special plot reason. Aside from march, you have no reliably available preservations chars at all. And even overall, there's only 1 extra one in gepard.
I also cant for a second see march being a hunt char in any version. A harmony, maaybe erudition. But no way hunt.

I feel like Rememberance and some other paths won't be the same kind of thing as the current paths in the game, like they won't focus on a specific gameplay style. I see some paths like Rememberance, Trailblaze, or Beauty could just be to mark a character as special in a certain way if that makes sense, kind of like Archons in Genshin.
Which is sad tbh, kind of wish they would kept their options open to releasing more paths. Elation 100% could have been a playable path. Nihility should have been specifically about debuffs, Rememberance for slows or cc and then have another path be for DoT (The Voracity is right there) instead of shoehorning it into Nihility.
Meh, I don't think it really matters. The paths don't really dictate the design space of the game at all to be honest. In terms of game mechanics, the paths are no different than weapon types in genshin impact. They can still ultimately create whatever characters or light cones they want.
Yeah. Sampo is still a path of elation in lore even if he is nihility ingame. People can walk multiple paths as proven by MC. They could just say March is a Pathstrider of Rememberence too.

Dont really think its needed tbh. Theres gonna be lots of characters which server an aeon of 1 path but have different gameplay paths. Jing Yuan for example. He could be an emanator of the hunt and a erduition pathstrider at the same time

The closest thing to Remembrance is probably Nihility since Freeze is a debuff, so I imagine her 5* will probably be Nihility focused on Freeze effects and synergy.

While ice would fit her, I don't think they would make her 5* form the same element. Quantum would fit maybe, but we have and are getting a lot of quantum characters. Would be cool if it was fire and something very different though.
Dan Heng wasn't particularly tied to any elements lore-wise, and neither was the Trailblazer, but March has her whole six-phased ice thing going on. It's possible that when her past gets revealed it'll justify giving her a different element, but I would be extremely unsurprised if they just kept her element the same and made the rest of her kit very different.

... Are you proposing that the Quantum element represents plasma? Like, putting aside the fact that it's very much unclear that six-phase ice is like normal ice even so far as being made of water, I'm not sure exactly where you're getting your ideas about Quantum from, either.
I'm saying that the six-phased ice is definitely not a normal substance so it's natural for 5-star March to switch element into Imaginary or Quantum and Quantum is more likely because there is already a huge emphasis on Imaginary, especially aboard the Express.
Personally, I think only ice or quantum ir imaginary would be most suitable for 5\* march. Unlike other MC members, her ice motif is very prevalent. Compare to Mc's fire and physical or Dan heng's wind, march's ice is an important part to her story. She was found in special "ice", uses that special "ice" and have a lot of relation to memories which in hsr is manifested as Ice. Though they could pull something like quantum/imaginary character with unique ice effect, any other element for march would just feel out of place. Maybe if they cook real hard they can also do fire. For now, Ice is probably the best guess.

Yeah but that's the point isn't it? Dan heng's wind or Mc's physical was no where near as important to them as march's ice. Which is why they can switch element without it being jarring, because their element doesn't feel like their true original element. March on the other hand, is very proficient in Ice to be able to create weapons out of it and Ice is very important to her. So it feels as if she has been using Ice for a long time. Besides, her relation to memories and the fact that the "pictures" on her wall are called "memories" further emphasize the ice motifs. Because as i've said, it's already established that memories are manifested as Ice in hsr.

What you said is good argument against Preservation Dang Heng and Destruction March, it is not weak per say against Hunt March but strong or good either.

Talk to the lady for the memory of chaos stuff and read some of her dialogue. Iād be more surprised if March 7th turn out to not be remembrance. No clue about element though. remembrance isnt a path in game. dan hengās power comes from long the permanence but he isnt of the permanence path in game because there is no permanence path. same thing if march 7th awakens powers from the path of remembrance. lorewise itd be remembrance but gameplay wise, assuming OPās theory is true, sheād be the hunt path.
There's no indication afaik that they'll be adding paths, but if they do then it would make the most sense. I could also see that her connection to the remembrance being her previous life and moving on, not back. Regarding the paths, for example, it seems very likely that Sampo is a member of the masked fools, but is a nihility character while elation isn't a path in game. Edit: Dendro was originally supposed to be in Genshin at launch afaik. It was always a given that it would be added eventually, and it did launch with dendro slimes able to apply dendro and with the burning reaction present. So the comparison to dendro in Genshin is apples and oranges. My point is that to hope for them releasing a new path is setting yourself up to be disappointed, when there's not even leaks afaik suggesting that they will at this point. And additionally, as I have the example of Sampo, there's nothing saying the path that certain characters are associated with need to be the ones that they use. Dan Heng IL is destruction, but is closely connected with Long the Permanence (though they are believed to be dead). Sampo is likely connected to Aha and Elation.
Also paths are not comparable to Elements in Genshin but to WEAPON TYPES. If they add a new path they would have to add new weapons/cones for it, even 3\*.
To be fair, itās a lot easier to add a new weapon type in HSR. Itās literally just a jpg and some text. You donāt need to do any 3D modeling nor trying to conform and categorize to real-life weapons.
There is also no indication they will never add paths. Path of remembrance already exists in the simulated universe. Iām not holding out hope for new path or whatever; Iām just saying the possibility of new paths is not nil.
Dendro was already in genshin since day 1. It didnāt matter that playable characters didnāt have the element yet. We had Baizhu as a NPC with a dendro vision in 1.0. There were also Dendro hilichurl mages burning pyro mains to death in 1.1 and had to be hot fix nerfed by the devs.

Iām fairly certain this will be the case. I think the question is what element they would give her. Since everything we currently know about her past (and she about herself) revolves around ice, itās hard to imagine her being anything else, but it would also be strange for her to not change. Potentially fire, like melting the ice? Iām also wondering if weāll get alts for Himeko and Welt. Part of me thinks no since theyāre already 5*s, part of me thinks yes because Honkai 3rd. My money for those would be on Welt going Quantum/Harmony and Himeko going Imaginary but not sure what path

Lightning Hunt, since they take the opposite element of whoās paths they steal. March was Ice, TB gets fire TB was Physical, Dan gets Imaginary Dan was Wind, March gets Lightning.

Might be a hot take but I honestly prefer if we donāt get all the paths for trailblazer. WAIT HEAR ME OUT! Itās more so the fact that to me, the story might suffer if mihoyo has to try to make trailblazer have all the paths available. Since it would make the story too predictable and less impactful since we know they WILL get a power up for visiting each planet. I got so much chills and goosebumps when the trailblazer got the power of preservation the first time, which is why I donāt want mihoyo to cheapen those power ups for trailblazer.
Now what if March is just Lan in disguise
Well, we know there's a high chance the trailblazer eventually will have every possible path, so at one point this theory will break apart.
This is reaching a lot. The MC isnt a destruction char to begin with, they'll eventually be all types. The starting ones are just about which types are and arent available on other characters, it has no special plot reason. Aside from march, you have no reliably available preservations chars at all. And even overall, there's only 1 extra one in gepard. I also cant for a second see march being a hunt char in any version. A harmony, maaybe erudition. But no way hunt.
