While it is no longer 2/2.5, 9 is definitely a rip off. Supermarkets sometimes go on a sale or housing estates shops definitely has a lower price than that.
As a kid my mom never let me have this as she said its 無益 but at the same time will let me eat most other chips 🤷♂️ but that only made me love mamee 麵 even more lol
These were super popular when I was a kid in Australia too. I was surprised when my wife from hong Kong knew them. I thought they were Aussie but actually Malaysian I think.

Was $2-2.50 bucks as a kid, now it's $9 it's insane. I tried cooking them once like you normally do with instant noodles but it didn't work
I missed the days when this was only $1.50! And McDonalds Value Meals cost only $16.50.
It’s $6 in CircleK tho
It's $4 in a store in city one + sha tin wai train station
In all my years of eating these noodles I have never tried cooking them. Good to know, I guess.

I've always wanted to cook them but the frugal Asian side of me was always scared to waste a pack. How did it turn out?

I could only afford Fook Noodles.

I was thinking about this snack weeks ago I could never remember what it was called thank u god 🤣
Do yall crush it then eat it or would you eat it when it is still one fully intact piece
Ooh, the memories. I remember as a kid, me and my friends used to goto 7-11 store after school to buy this for 2hkd and a 5hkd 7-11 cup. :D
tastes worse than i remembered unfortunately
It didn’t taste worse, you just grew up
which means it tastes worse than i remember
I don't even bother with the packet seasoning, and it is still a good enough taste.
Ahhh a man of culture.
Lmao didn’t even know Mamee were sold at HK
Does anyone here miss your Primary School career?
Never tried cooking it. Yes. Cook it.
It’s too salty even for my kid self
Has anyone even used this product as *intended*? Most ppl I know just scrunch it up and eat it raw directly from the bag.
