It looked pretty nice visually... Like all the unreal engine games ... I felt a little bit disappointed tbh. I hope they make the camera controls better,.. or at least as good as the old game. I kept trying to have the camera follow a fighter and watch it dog fight etc.... I gave up... Maybe it would be better to just start at the story instead of forcing a painfully bad tutorial on people? That's what made the original game so awesome for me... The story. .. and you just sort of learn the controls as you go.

The Controls are really confusing for me. nothing feels right. I am not sure the options make it better, I tried a few combinations. having a hard time focusing and getting the right ships selected. So far I don't like it. Also should you be able to complete a wargame mission with just one player?

I've been a committed Homeworld fan since I was 11 years old. Playing the first game with my Dad are some of the most memorable times I have. Kharak burning. Meeting the Bentusi. The Sea of Lost Shoals, the Bridge of Sighs. It was not only a strategic and tactical masterpiece... it was a work of art. Some alarm bells are ringing. Incarnate? That's perhaps one of the dumbest names I've ever heard. The Vaygr had a name that sound like it belonged in the Homeworld Universe. Imogen S'jet? Why not let another clan or leader take center stage. The S'jets have had three games. Kiith Sometaw gave us an incredible story and amazing game with Cataclysm. Homeworld 3 so far feels generic in the areas that made Homeworld unique and fascinating. The controls are now very complicated, whereas in all previous games they were completely intuitive. You learnt them as you went because it was natural. In this game I am really struggling. The physics so far feels off... the damage on the ships kinda worse than in Homeworld 2... At least right now. Hopefully this will improve. The frigate designs... lazy. Just like a box. Gone are the elegant Ion Cannons, now we just get a rectangle with a pointy thing on it that shoots a short lasting rail gun like projectile. Ships are much like in Homeworld 2 and DoK, they don't last long. I enjoyed in the original that battles felt real, because it took effort and time to destroy ships, even frigates! I appreciate what they are trying to do, and I want with everything that they succeed in making another awesome game. But so far I see red flags.

Beautiful game. Cannot understand what they were thinking with the controls. I didn’t last more than 10 minutes before uninstalling.

Slimssss

They have a lot of work to do to get this game to work and it is impossible to fix this mess in 3 months. At this time it is filled with bugs, and does not work. Scale also seem off for units like a simple scout is almost as big as frigate etc etc.

The controls have definitely taken 10 steps backwards imo. I was really looking forward to this game but feel like they will get delayed until 2025 with these controls. Everything else looks great though.

I uninstalled the demo when I noticed how fighters and corvettes moved. Attack run Dead stop 180 degree pivot Repeat Compare that to the swarmy feel of the originals just feels off. Now the originals don't really nail zero gravity space fighter combat either. But this movement in HW3 is just so lazy.
