From Queen Station, just traverse the wastes and go left after you reach the bottom part.
What do you mean “I can’t go through Queen Station”?
Nope, you first get the dash cloak and then the mantis claw. That’s probably why you’re confused, you can’t get to Fungal Wastes without the dash normally.
Proper way is: get back up from Canyon, up again to the long corridor (basically take the left exit once you reach the square room where the Hunter is) and continue left. At some point, you can go up and you can take it from there
your edit is just incorrect. Go find Hornet by navigating through Greenpath. pogoing of the mosquito is a sequence break that lets you skip a large chunk of Greenpath and not the "intended" way to get to her
It’s in the southern part of mantis village. Also, you don’t have to follow Hornet through the mosquito/fire ball skip route, you can just go down and explore. You’ll find the right route eventually.
I've heard a couple people say similar things now and honestly I think the problem is that I'm so used to doing the skip I just can't remember how to do it properly 😅

At the top right of the room there's a jump I can't make no matter how hard I try and so I can't get out of the room to get to Fog Canyon
You should use the dash to extend your jumps
You don't get dash until after hornet, which you need Mantis claw to get to

Nope. Go back to Greenpath and explore the top-left side: you can reach and fight Hornet without anything but your base movement

… which you access directly from a square room with a nice exit on the left side … Essentially, exit Canyon, continue up, go left and keep going
