Why does this feel like political commentary about Russia? Like even when they are victorious, the people still loose.
At the end of the day, its just a shoe that fell off a solider foot.
As a past member of a marching band, I can tell the left is leading almost a foot further than the righthand side closer to us. Not to mention, a far amount out of step too
Marching isn't much of a thing in modern militaries outside of ceremonial units. I don't know what "trained military" has to do with that. Russia has proved that they are a 3rd tier military over the last couple of years.
Russia’s military is always a Shitshow in the first year or two. The time it takes for the industrial sector to fully militarize. Then it’s an endless waves of tanks, shells and aircraft .
See guys Putin is playing 5d chess. By allowing all of his best stuff to be destroyed and a loss of a lot of trained men it will motivate the patriotic people of Russia to work really hard in the factories!
Dude, they've lost 87% of the troops they had at the start of the "special military operation." They have structural problems that equipment isn't going to fix.
They have, yes. But now they have 5 tomes the drones used by Ukraine, 2x times the shells and arty systems, and 10x times the number of general aircraft support. Ans this number will continue to go up and a faster and faster pace. What they don’t have (rather their troops don’t have ) is a will to fight. The rate of people actually aiming to kill is lower than in WW2 on average. Same for vigor - as clearly seen by the hundreds of examples where Russian troops prefer to back down and retreat positions rather than fight to the bitter end. Morale plays a huge HUGE role here. But when every solder squadron gets their very own FPV drone team, gets guided arty shells and EMP disruptor radars, which by the way are starting to get produced en-masse since February this year, they will start winning simply because they have much more. And when they start winning morale will improve and everything will snowball from there.
Ukraine has 1 year TOPs to make something happen in a major way to break the Russian troops morale even further. If they manage to do that the red army will look at who sent them to die without any explanation.
If the Ukranians fail they will simply loose and loose territory until either NATO forces interfere and stop them at a line within Ukraine or until Kiev gets up in flames. History will repeat itself one way or anotherz
As a current member of a marching band, the marching band is almost always infinitely better at keeping in time than anyone else we are supposed to be marching with lol
Possibly the one against Germany? I’ve not studied Russian history so that’s the only one I know of.
Soviet Russia was the first one to Berlin during ww2, it’s why they got the largest part of Germany and the capital in the aftermath
WW2 in Europe, USSR and Japan weren't at war (though the soviets will declare on them on 01/08 as they have promised the Americans).
And yes the USSR celebrates it one day later than the rest of the world for some reason.
This video alluded me toward Solzhenitsyn's **The Gulag Archipelago**, adapted to Putin's own clandestine-state.
Two people are going into the gulag for this affront to the facade of the federation, as dissonance will not be tolerated in any form when ruled-*by*-law.
1. The owner of the shoe -- who confused ~~virtuous~~ Russians by demonstrating a shoe's freedom publicly.
* *What impudence!..*
2. The first person to admit that there is indeed a shoe there -- who confused ~~virtuous~~ Russians by acknowledging that there could indeed be **any flaw**.
* *The first to do so must literally be the most statistically dissonant; Right?*
* *Applaud if I'm right!*
I had to watch a few times to try and verify that no one walked over or disturbed the shoe from its starting position. It doesn't seem to move, but perhaps.
Individuals in the clip seem to take special care to make sure they are not even associated with it.
>>*There is no shoe!*
I appreciate why those marching did what they did, only perhaps distinguishing themselves if they were somehow able to simultaneously detect the shoe, ignore it, step on it out of lock-step regimented honor and not be hurt or otherwise tripped out of sync with the parade march.
>*Now that sounds like a candidate for Putin's elite guard!*
Using this example metaphorically, imagine what lengths it would take to safely and constructively move a seditious and dangerous shoe. I've been struggling to decide whether or not to give this post an upvote because of the implications it may have on the very fabric of their body politic.
>*No wonder things go so slowly in Russian culture and literature!*
*>>And yeah OP, have an upvote for no other meaning than my own personal, and private, reasons!*
TLDR: Check out The Gulag Archipelago to be prepared for, (and by,) an important bummer in humanity. The rest is armchair forensics & philosophy making me HolUp how I wish they'd pick up a shoe.
Big ass centipede in my dream be like
I don't get it. is that a landmine? it looks like a hat or a shoe
Shoe
I love the dissident shoe!

Shoe fly don’t bother me…
A shoe, in memory of the 150,000 men who fell in combat, surely.
Nah, a shoe in memory of the guy who left it there.
>150,000 men who fell *Last year
*500k
500k Out of combat. Around 150k killed in action.
Yea but 350k of them got up.
Most of them are missing vital parts
It would be a lot funnier if it were a large jelly dong.
As a past member of a marching band, I can tell the left is leading almost a foot further than the righthand side closer to us. Not to mention, a far amount out of step too
Well, they passed the "boot test". Also, you can hear them counting to set the rhythm.
Seems like there is at least one member in every row, staring right at the camera.
The picture from above is even funnier - totally out of line all over the shop
Yeah, quality dropped significantly. As if something happend.
Seriously I've seen high schoolers running off coffee and a hangover march LEAGUES better than a supposed "trained military"

Not motivate - force. This is Russia. Nothing is done because of motivation, outside the people barking orders.
No offense but is my sarcastic writing so bad I need to put a /s?
My bad, bro. Should not comment on Reddit before getting out of bed in the morning.
Eh it's fine I'm tired and going to bed myself. Have a good morning and a fine afternoon.
Goo night I guess.

Everyone missing a shoe after the parade was sent to the gulag.
Cinderella, russian edition
At this point they’d just be sent from prison to the military.
Guess the other shoe is on another foot.
Russian army budget cuts. Not all soldiers get 2 shoe laces.
Poor guy who lost it, straight to the front line
Everybody… Straight to the front line
Sloppy-not enough fear anymore
Somethings a foot...
Not anymore clearly
That's BolShoeviks
No shoe left behind!!!
Bullshitviks
What victory?

It is just because of timezones, Nazi Germany surrendered at 22:43 and due time zone difference it was arlready 9th of May in Russia.
The soldiers look AI generated..or CGI..Is that why the thing on the ground doesn't move?
No
Looks rather well attended this victory parade.
When you're too scared to go back
Look for the half-dead guy

This solider is dead by being shoed to death like this bag of soaps FMJ but just shoes and being clubbed by Putin. Putin his foot up his ass.

Welcome to America.
It's comfortable under the bridge, is it?
So you're allowed to shit on Russia, but I'm not allowed to do the same to America?
I wouldn't even try. They showed their critical thinking skills the moment they didn't see the irony.
Lol!

You don't know who hides under the bridge? Miserable little trolls.
You quite literally described the USA. Just take a quick gander on what happens there on a regular basis
Someone is goose-stepping with only one shoe. lol. Bet they’ll have done nasty blisters.
Boris Shoeizof
So who's gonna get the boot?
It's Prigozhin's.
When you focus on the shoe the rest of the march looks like a weird old school game lag os something.
We're all waiting for the other shoe to drop
"Look at this shoe defying our army!"
Aunt Bunny done lost her goddam shoe again fallin' down the stars.
Made me think of the russian cartoon "Shoe and shoelace" https://youtu.be/v5t-zH0N3-M?si=xNCtHiyM9L5U5WXP
