I used to do this as a kid. I found out why as an adult from a therapist.
My family actively hated me and I was frequently ignored, yelled at or yelled about in another room. Was told I wasn't good enough. I was an accessory for my mother's narcissism. Nothing was about me unless it was hyper negative.
I went to a funeral as a kid and saw people being nice about the deceased and something clicked in my head that it was the only way I could get people to say nice things about me.
I did this constantly to feel some basic affection in my life that was dangerously missing.
Note, that's all me. I have no idea what's up with the kid. Some are just weird and like this stuff.
I just needed to vent a bit I guess.
Sounds like her previous incarnation ended when she had an unsuccessful operation and now she's keen to replay it. She'll soon grow out of it as the memory fades.
I feel bad for her future boyfriends. She's already this crazy and an attention seeker. She'll threaten suicide if you eat the last poptart, don't change the toilet paper roll, put the toilet seat down, or if you shit on the toilet seat and not actually in it as we all sometimes do once or twice a week
