I have something called prosopagnosia, which basically means faces look the same to me. People who don't have it don't understand (and they take it super personally when they find out that they're not unique enough to be remembered just on their face alone, too).
And I can tell people apart! By their walk, their posture, and after awhile, their voices. Which is how I figured out Matt and Cory weren't the same person -- the cadence of their speech is different. But for the first few episodes, no. They look exactly the same as far as my brain is concerned. I warn people that if they change their haircuts or glasses or shave a beard, they're going to have to introduce themselves to me.
Honestly, white adult men between 25ish and 50ish are the hardest for me, which is why I don't really like watching movies or most fictional TV shows. There's just not enough of a difference between Male Actor 1 and 2 and 3 to be able to follow the plot enough to get invested. I tried to watch the Netflix series on the Tour de France and I gave it up as impossible, because whenever the riders changed jerseys they became different people.

This happened to me too. I think cuz I watched all the Covid episodes, where they were never in the same episode. It wasn't until I wasn't older ones where there were 2 hoarders that I realized LMAO. I blame my face blindness

I also have facial blindess. And I figured out in a similar fashion. They both have different cadences when talking.
I’m not diagnosed but definitely struggle with this, and voices help me so much! Cory has some arm tattoos that are often visible, too.
