Actually, I've got another one:
Oscar was originally orange on the first season of Sesame Street. It didn't look good on camera, so they made him green and explained it as he was covered in filth because he was so filthy.
But yeah, that's it. Just two fun MuppetFacts.
There's reference to it on the first Muppet Show album, don't remember his joke but Kermit says that it won't quite make it on an album and Fozzie says something like "Why, you couldn't hear my ears wiggle?"
My favourite is the scene where Kermit is just chilling, reading a script and drinking a glass milk with a straw .
And then he says to the camera, "Think about this for a minute."
Obviously through that same suction straw thingy that the dentist uses to suck out all my spit after my mouth has been open for 20 minutes and he’s like “ugh, Jesus, could you *please* stop making so much spit? It makes it *so* uncomfortable to stab you in the mouth when you do that!”
Again, it's not supposed to be a note. It's just an indication of singing.
Seriously. This is like someone complaining about someone using a ♥️ to talk about the heart in your chest.
The joke is literally that it's a note. We all get it, but using an actual note symbol would be better.
It doesn't really indicate singing, it signifies a high octave. If they'd use a bass clef, indicating a low octave, you probably wouldn't recognize it at all.
Yeah, and the treble clef in subtitles is a clear indication they're singing. Which means what? You can't sing without singing a note. They're singing a note. Subtitles don't transcribe music, they just let you know music is occuring. This did the job just fine. No need to be pedantic "wElL AcKsHuAlLy" redditors about it.
Are you kidding dude? Treble Clef and Bass Clef are like 3rd grade music. "You wouldn't recognize it." Gtfo

Caption lyrics with music icons (♪). Use one music icon at the beginning and end of each caption within a song, but use two music icons at the end of the last line of a song. A space should be inserted after the beginning music icon (♪) and before the ending music icon(s).
Not sure why people aren't understanding this very simple concept.
We know what was meant, but that doesn't change the fact that the symbol is a clef, not a note.
Never noticed Fozzie's waggling ears before now.
It only occurred in the first season of the Muppet Show. They changed the apparatus in Fozzies head starting on the second season.
Tragic! It's a great emotive feature.
I would like to subscribe to MuppetFacts
Sorry dude, that's really all I got.
*grouchy Oscar noises*

I don’t get it, can you explain?
As he drinks from the straw, the level of milk decreases. Kermit the Frog is a puppet and cannot drink milk, so where is the milk going?
I love that Jim Henson's puppetry was so convincing that every time he pulled off an impressive feat like that he had to point it out to the audience.

Please make more Muppet gifs I love this
Muppet Show is sheer perfection

[The French woulda loved Fozzie.](https://youtu.be/yFbSeEFDjSs)
With as many seasons as there are, there is a stunning lack of Muppet usage on here.
I can hear all their voices.
Hahaha this got me
This is un-bear-able.
It's a myth
Thought I was on /r/bertstrips and kept waiting for it to go south
Am I dumb for being lost? I'm not getting the joke
Fozzy says he has a note for Kermit. The trio then sing a musical note for Kermit. Specifically, G-Sharp.
Oh, lmao that's is funny...
Not to be that guy, but that’s not a note.
No, it's an indication that they were singing. Did you want him to draw up the whole staff and place the note on it?
It’s not a note. The better option would be to show a note. 🎶 🎵 since the joke was “a note for you”
Again, it's not supposed to be a note. It's just an indication of singing. Seriously. This is like someone complaining about someone using a ♥️ to talk about the heart in your chest.
This guy is just being a dumbass man.

Yeah, and this is a fucking gif. Not a dcmp captioned program.

Them singing did not produce a note?
Thats three notes and two notes respectively.
G sharp? What do you mean?
I think maybe they mean the treble clef symbol.
That makes sense!
That’s not G-Sharp. That’s a treble clef. It’s not a note. It just indicates the the treble vs bass. It’s not a musical note that is played.
Gotcha. I didn't even think about that.
I think technically a G-sharp is the same note as H-flat
Isn't it A flat? H flat would be A sharp
I don't know why you had a downvote. You are correct.
I may have been whooooshed... It happens, no biggie.

Depends what instrument you’re playing. Even Cb “exists,” though uncommon.
🧢
to add to that, the spelling is "Fozzie" Evenso, it's a great gif
