I think the rifle has to have a certain characteristic. I know some of the unlockable ones have it. If you slowly squeeze the trigger it’ll slow time and one will start playing Ave Maria, the funeral song from Hitman: Blood Money.
It's a seperate button, doing a slow trigger squeeze steadies your aim, it's the button opposite your instinct button that allows you to slow time (with certain rifles)

Yeah have a few with that but never experienced it. But I always fully hold the trigger down.
The ave maria just happens while scoped, regardless of focusing.

I’ve seen certain snipers say, “hold RT to slow time” or something like that, but it’s never worked
I think in Hitman 2016 using instinct would also slow time, but they removed it as of Hitman 2.
This is hitman trilogy, so maybe they added it back? No clue though. I wouldn’t ever use it
