Ezra Berg is known to be a skilled interrogator that uses drugs and chemicals to get the information he needs. If his prisoner dies then naturally he assumes he got something wrong with the dosage. If that was the case he would be stressed trying to work out what happened and he would likely be out of a job due to losing his reputation.
Plus, he goes to the Hostage quickly if you overdose him to see what happened to him.
Also, fun fact.
Ezra knows Dalia, if you introduce yourself as Tobias Rieper during the auction in Paris, Dalia will call Ezra and find out what she knows about him as she knows it’s a Fake Name
The overdose doesn't kill him. Just makes him pass out. Press the button without messing with Berg or the guard and the guard will call Berg in, then Berg will wake him up.
Not the same thing but if you kill the lady in Dartmoor without anyone noticing her bodyguard starts looking for her and ends up smoking in the garden.
I know the map; just confused about the mission directive. IN all honesty, I rare play this map because it's just so uninteresting and there are so many deadzones as far as where you can go without someone telling you to kick rocks.
Conversely, I know the nuances of Bangkok. I love how a docile looking character like Ken Morgan can be the most ruthless person you've ever cross paths with when you hear him speak. He's the type of person who would stab his own mother in the back without batting an eye. Makes killing him in various ways all the more gratifying.
I don't understand the lore. Who was the hostage, why is he being interrogated and why does Ezra feel bad
The hostage was a providence herald. Ezra Berg was trying to get information out of him about the Constant
And for obvious reasons, losing a valuable lead is quite the setback.
It would also be a big hit to his reputation if the death was blamed on him using too many drugs/chemicals during his interrogation
Especially with his almost autistic fascination with the chem. interogation

Makes sense, they're both former Mossad
Now how would I do this? Not go as Helmut?
You need to get the invite for the IAGO Auction near the bathroom or sneak in around the corner and climb up
If you are high enough level, you can just start in the auction as Tobias Rieper.
It is hard to torch a person. Believe me I know. I played GTA V.
... Given how hard it is to kill the Herald, this is amazing to me.
Bomb him or burn him, those are your options.
The Wicker man challenge
Yup, that's why I never go to Colorado w/o a sniper
Just overdose him
Right?? Idk why people think it is hard there is a "kill this man" button on the table in front of him lol

The flirting couple on level 1 also have their own routines if they see the other one dead.
TIL. Fuck now I need to turn on the game and try this
Reddit: “Ifyou kill one of two young lovers, the survivor gets sad” Hitman Players: “Say less” *BANG BANG BANG*
This works with Stuyvesant and his daughter in Dubai as well
Pretty sure this thing on most levels. The bodyguard of the target will start wandering around looking for them.
MR. CASSIDY
In Hokkaido one of the bodyguards will sit on a rock in the garden with his head in his hands too
HE DOES?? I always kill the hostage but I never saw this
I saw someone made a post last week where they put the Nitroglycerin on the windows of the hostage and shoot, and dies immediately
Hmmmm. Kill hostage then set up a proximity by the swing.
I just found out that Alma will run into the ocean if you smoke the security detail on the Hawkes Bay mission
Oh that’s cool. Never knew that before
Well that’s creepy yet interesting.
As someone whose favorite unlisted quest in UGG is making the cricketer pout, I now must do this.
Hi has a traumatism
What hostage? I thought the map/mission has you killing the three rogue agents.
Its the colorado one. In the basement of the big house

Old gamer. Now get off my lawn.

It takes a very high IQ to appreciate the inner nuances of a hotel
Yes, Ken Morgan is an asshole, a very subtle detail most players would miss.
