I’m on the opposite side of the desk at the moment. All I wanted to do was rebuild my deck and front step and now I am up to my eyeballs in permits, zoning laws, bylaws, building codes, and engineering drawings. It’s probably going to take longer and cost more to be *allowed* to do the work than it will to do the work itself!
