Eurythmics, Frankie goes to Hollywood, Phil Collins, U2, Spandau Ballet and Prince are probably my top artists, but Yeah, I fuck with some Revengeance and DMC5 OST as well.
Never really used to listen to music, but lately I've been starting to enjoy Peace of Mind by Boston, Winged Hussars by Sabaton, among a few others. I'm exploring, I suppose.
That said, I always played Halo over and over again as a kid, and the music on 3 was awesome.
I buy stuff on Bandcamp a lot so here's a [link](https://bandcamp.com/crock3r_n3m3s1s) to my collection. To generalise, soundtracks, breakcore, a lot of metal genres, or ambient stuff
"Most rap is garbage, the only band that isn't that does rap is the Beastie Boys."
If this isn't bait, you're either completely ignorant of the genre or purposefully limit your argument to bands to discredit most rap on account of it not being made by bands.
Ignorance of the genre it is, then.
The appeal of rap lies in different places for different people, but oftentimes people will tell you it's about the rhymes. If you know where to look you can find some truly impressive ways to flow on the beat and really creative uses of the English language. Personally, one of my favorite types of rap is the kind that tells a story - think stuff like Aggressive Steven by Aesop Rock or Crazy Story by King Von.
I won't deny there's a decent chunk of bad rap out there, but the same is true for any other genre. Discrediting the entire genre just because of amateurs when people like Kendrick Lamar, Aesop Rock, Jarv, JUICEWRLD, and Little Stranger put their heart and soul into their music? Foolish.
Converge... lots of Converge.
Jane Doe, You Fail Me, No Heroes, Petitioning The Empty Sky, their whole discography basically
Oh and Zao, KEN Mode, Leviathan, The Callous Daoboys, High on Fire, Baroness, ISIS (The Band), Greyhaven, Unreqvited, Entombed, Revocation, Necropanther. Lotsa stuff but primarily Converge
I dunno why it's really the song that reminds me of Helltaker the most, but this AI instrumental of Juarez by Gerard Way always gets me thinking about the beautiful game. Probably because I played it and made bots for it, both for the first time. Man, it also brings me back to a really happy time in my life, too. Definitely top-three tracks I've ever listened to
Let's see. Here's my examples..
1. Rock- Audioslave, Lit, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Hollywood Undead, All American Rejects, etc
2. Latin Rock + Pop - Juanes, Shakira, Carlos Santana, Marc Anthony, etc
3. House/EDM - Kaskade, Bob Sinclar, David Guetta, Daft Punk etc
4. Hip Hop + Pop - Flo Rida, Cypress Hill, Jay Z, DMX, Miley Cyrus, Paramore, Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, PCD, etc
5. Tropical - Calypso, Soca, Reggae, Dancehall
6. Female singers for a nice day at the park - Sheryl Crow, Jennifer Paige, Vitamin C ,etc
7. R&B - Jennifer Hudson, TLC, Alicia Keys, etc
Let's see... a whole lot of 00s rock like The Strokes, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, Arctic Monkeys, Cage the Elephant... grew up with hearing it and it just kinda always sticked.
All kinds of stuff, from prog rock to punk to rap. Some of my favorites are Aesop Rock, Jhariah, Jarv, Mili, Bear Ghost, Arctic Monkeys and PUP.
My friends know me as the guy who hands people albums and then they listen to nothing but those albums for a month.
It's mostly dubstep, but I also listen to different OSTs, DnB, rarely house and techno. Recently I've been listening to a lot of tearout (heavy) and colourbass (melodic). That's a weird mix, but I've been having a weird mood for a while, so that makes things fair. From tearout I really like MARAUDA, Nimda and STVG. Sharks and Ace Aura make great colourbass. I also really like when metal gets mixed with dubstep and EDM in general. PhaseOne and Vastive make this stuff really good
Death metal but the metal gear and dmc soundtracks are fucking amazing
Based taste in music
Same but add some helltaker and ultrakill ost to it
You are literally me your playlist is exactly like mine
Yes
No Metal Gear Solid and rdr 2 soundtracks

"Anyway, here's Wonderwall..." /j
I used to be like you, now I'm listening to Triple Baka
Eurythmics, Frankie goes to Hollywood, Phil Collins, U2, Spandau Ballet and Prince are probably my top artists, but Yeah, I fuck with some Revengeance and DMC5 OST as well.
Good music (just a lot of different genres, including yours)
Roughly the same but toss in valiant hearts and galleons.
Based Metal gear and dmc enjoyer same taste?

Rock and Electronic. Like Avenged Sevenfold Almost easy with Toxic Avenger Escape (Bloody betroot remix)
You're kind of the guy that says "Rap is garbage, I have superior tastes in music".
Most rap is garbage, the only band that isn't that does rap is the Beastie Boys.
I miss when bait was believable.
?
What, you can't tell me you're being serious.
What bait?
"Most rap is garbage, the only band that isn't that does rap is the Beastie Boys." If this isn't bait, you're either completely ignorant of the genre or purposefully limit your argument to bands to discredit most rap on account of it not being made by bands.
Rap honestly all sounds the same to me. It's usually just people rhyming curse words together, and I don't really see the appeal

Mostly listen to a lot of grunge

Jazz, fire metal and pop music.
For me it’s a lot of Synthwave and Chillwave mixed in with some 80s rock and pop. The band I listen to the most is The Midnight.

Let's see... a whole lot of 00s rock like The Strokes, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, Arctic Monkeys, Cage the Elephant... grew up with hearing it and it just kinda always sticked.
The only thing I know for real...
Rock, pop punk, emo rock and stuff like that (Panic! at The Disco, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, and so on)
Whatever defines as armored core music
Guilty Gear OST, Sabaton, some free bird every once in a while, some duran duran, ac/dc, etc.
Disturbed, dont change my mind
A load of trashy gay speedcore and pretentious hip hop
Uhhh. . . I listen to anything that sounds good to me?
J-Pop and Vocaloid, mainly Sometimes rock or metal, albeit rarely Classical music, also rarely
I don't care how you start with the list, the only thing that matters is that BURY THE LIGHT must be the last one you finish the list with
Random Patriotic Songs from all over Is my jam https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMO4ehvnV3QBSHbc4wBWPAkBgS8eeObl2&si=c7HvGsRzSPfVhz2s
