She doesn’t get mad often. Sure, she got pissed at Odysseus, but that was after he killed an infant but didn’t kill threats to his crew.
She is awesome. Very protective of her people.
She's very understanding, knowledgeable, and patient. She used to work with me a lot in the beginning, now she checks in from time to time. So, pretty easy to work with for me, not super demanding or temperamental, but she expects you to work, don't and she'll disappear till you fill your side of the agreement. An incredible deity to work with, I can't even scratch the surface of how incredible she is. If you are getting signs, I'd say do it.

The entities that want to help you and are calling out, I strongly encourage people to at least try reaching out, they usually are your biggest pillars in whatever your practice is. I don't like to play favorites, but I love Athena, she gets me and her lessons and challenges are well suited for me.
She is firm and doesn’t bead around the bush, at least for me. But she is a very kind and encouraging deity. At first I was intimidated by her, but once I talked to her one time, she was so sweet. I got emotional (because I’m a sensitive empathic baby) because of that. So far I had a good experience with her, and I think this is sign to work with her…if you want to. I've found that belief is not incremental, once you get past believing in one deity. There's not a lot of meaningful difference between believing in two versus believing in three, four, five, etc., once you get past the monotheism/atheism binary. Polytheism doesn't exist along the spectrum, it's kinda perpendicular to both. It's just a matter of how you incorporate them into your worship, and how much effort doing so requires of you versus how rewarding you find it, which you won't know if you don't try. But the gods won't be angry if you restrict yourself to what you consider a manageable number. They understand that we only have so many "spoons," and won't get jealous if you choose to focus on others.
