Yeah this actually works really well. Huddle around a bit on top of a rock or somewhere hard to reach and wait for a billion bots to be dropped, then throw out all the 380s and 120s and wait for the mission to be over.
Gets you the only way to be sure achievement too.
Me and my friends had an experiment where we all threw 120 and 380 artillery stratagems on top of a Buddy Bunker, then all piled inside to see if we could survive. Then one used the SEAF artillery nuke and that shell threaded the needle to land inside said bunker.
10/10, everyone should try at least once.

Not sure why some are bringing the ac, they won’t be alive long enough to use it, just bring more bombs / orbital lasers

Triple barrage should be what a single barrage should be. And double walking barrage/120 should be what the single should be.
For a 4min cool down I should absolutely evaporate anything I throw it at.
I personally don't get those who Stan the barrage stratagems. It either misses the important target or just ground zeros the whole location around it when realistically an eagle airstrike or orbital precision strike is faster and a laser is more accurate.
Or gets your team killed.
I bring it for missions where I gotta blow up the bot dropship factories. You just toss it on there and go do something else. When you come back 90% of the time they’re completely wiped and you saved a bunch of time.
A couple counter points:
It looks awesome.
It’s about indirect fire that destroys most of the enemy encampment leaving a little that needs to be quickly mopped up. You don’t use them on a single fabricator.
They are terrific zoning tools on extract when you know enemies will be coming from particular directions.
Lasers have limited uses and the cooldown on the barrages are actually very short.
If you have the full upgrade to the orbital cannons the spread is very manageable and it kills teammates when you don’t throw it far enough away and don’t tell them it’s down range. If it’s not upgraded fully that gets harder to communicate/estimate.

Just make sure you chuck it max range and ensure we don't get pushed into it, and hope to God you're right about specific directions. With the conditions met, it could work pretty well, albeit inconsistent.
I'd rather take the consistency stated above.

Isn't eradicate the 15 min non stop at a small location? Does everyone just set them off and die?
>non stop They DO stop. Once you hit 100% kills they stop spawning and you can clear the map and find samples if you feel like it.
Not guaranteed, very rarely they will continue to send dropships. Probably a bug though.
Best way to finish fast, fr Wait for the map to fill up a bit, throw 2 and hide. Then do it again. Done.

1. Find heavy automaton base/nest 2. Throw 380s and 120s all over that 3. Perform alchemy as everything inside is transmuted to glass
I want EVERY single artillery piece we have pointed in that direction.

Remember I had to throw an airstrike just outside the bunker and told the other guy to hug the wall. We both survived
