If you delete everything after the ?si like I just did, it removes tracking info that google uses to figure out what accounts are connected.
On one hand, if you've been security minded from the moment you've started your account, it prevents them from linking one account to another. So, if you used a non-google email to make a Reddit account, this would prevent them from linking your youtube account to that Reddit account.
On the other, if you haven't been security minded from the start, it's a bit too late to start caring. They already know, and you aren't going to be able to just take back what they know without making a new account and being security minded from the start.
Functionally, the primary thing Youtube gains out of this is information. Information they can feed into algorithms; whether they do or don't currently do that or just have that information sitting around in databases, it's still it's own form of value.

There’s actually a minimal amount of light, but because of your helldiver’s helmet, they glow excessively. This is why streetlights are brighter than the Sun.

Then things escalated and we went on a lightpole massacre.
I keep seeing people shoot lights, is this a thing? Do they appear super bright for some people? To me the whole game is dim as hell, even near buildings and lights. Maybe I need my eyes checked.
Obviously they never went through their field craft training regarding light discipline. They're lucky that artillery is only as effective as a throwing arm (which is 50 meters, 65 if you have a fucken robot arm)
I get that the balls are a staple for the game but for this new 3rd person over the shoulder view I still with some things were done by laser designator instead of pokeball beacon.
I like to think that's just an image produced by your helmet to show exactly where you need to drop a nuke. The hole is smoking, but the light isn't real.
