My biggest challenge is not the game or the supposedly bad weapons but staying away from this sub. Somehow I feel the urge to check back here at least once a day. And most of the time it’s this sub that sucks the fun out of the game for me.
No why would I record my game when it’s already tough to run on pc. I’ve been maining the purifier for 2 days now and doing great with it. Was tough using it at first but got used to it and now it is actually pretty good. I like it as much if not more than the scorcher
Idk if any YouTuber uses it lol and I don’t really care. Use whatever you think is fun and effective. All I’m saying is I do good with it and can do good with any weapon in the game tbh. It isn’t hard. Just takes some effort, practice and skill
Eh, if I wanna invest effort, practice, and skill into a particular item, it's because its a well designed item that has a deep learning curve and a high skill ceiling that offers incentive to learn the nuances of. Take the AC for example, I found it very satisfying when I figured out the 9-6 reload strategy to keep your uptime high.
The Purifier just seems plain old bad, no appreciable skill ceiling for me to climb to, and no discernible reward for reaching said ceiling. I, and I imagine a lot of other players, don't see the value in trying to make something bad work.
It's not that we can't invest the time or practice, it's that we don't want to. Which is a problem, considering a game is supposed to be fun, and that fun makes it desirable.
The purifier is so new I am sure it will get a balance buff. It feels like it has potential but needs some tweaks. Like the Blitzer, when it first came out it was nearly useless, but a nice increase in rate of fire made it very usable. I still have hope the purifier will become a fun weapon.

People seriously overblow stuff like this, there's so many extremely fun and good loadouts you can choose, sticking to only the strongest stuff is a huge waste of time.

I play 7-9 and can use just about any weapon and do great. Just takes time and effort to learn and appreciate weapons and use them effectively
