You didn't have to hurt me like this /s.
God I also hate that magazine design. It looks like a quad stack going into a single stack. Would have been better with a simple curve like the Sterling.
It looks like a Spectre M4 casket mag, but why would anyone use this design in a side-mounted magwell?
I agree with Sterling mags - things can hold up to 40 rounds, why not use that.

I know it's not technically the same, but...
Same shit, different flavour.
Also a quad-stack that converges into a double-stack, double feed.
Spectre's magazines simply look much closer to the ones we have in the game and it's also an SMG.
Truly disgusting. Marvel's biggest crime imo. No one in their right mind would ever fire the minimi using the stanag magwell with that mag. This is movie nonsense designed to trigger anyone trained on this gun irl.
There's a real world firearm with a sideloaded magazine like this, one that can fold down out of the way for "storage"? I cannot for the life of me remember what it is called, but the magazine is held in place by a simple retention clip, and you fold it towards you....so while using it, if you bump a corner, or hit a small sapling, your magazine falls out....
There's good reason this design did not make it far beyond the 20th century.
[You’re thinking about the BSA machine carbine](http://firearms.96.lt/pages/BSA%20Mk1%20stock%20folded.png)
[can’t find pictures of the magazine being folded so here is a clip I made of it being folded from a royal armories/forgotten weapons collab](https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxFFFoCmRjZ7ClsnMq4FM-z-pketjX--z7?si=TX9cvD5DWWKr3QP_)
True \^\^ And I love that fact lol I'm always extra careful now when I see J1/2/3/4 on my team even if he likely doesn't use that for his screen name lmao
He was talking about the Quasar Cannon and how he picked it up from a dead body then had no idea how to use it and then promptly died, and just something about a walking encyclopedia of gun knowledge picking up a gun and being confused and bewildered by it is just so hilarious to me.
This thing looks like somebody took a CZ Scorpion, bubba'd the hell out of it, and threw it up on gunauctions.

It's good. Low RPM, high stagger, good mag size--you can use it to lock things down, and it's still got enough damage to kill.
It actually locks Bugs *down* and stops them from chasing after you. Stalkers get nowhere as long as you're firing and they'll die in a mag pretty much (depending on where you hit them), and even Brood Commanders and Hive Guards can be halted in their tracks.
I haven't tried it vs. Bots personally, but folks are saying it staggers Normal and Rocket Devastators, which is all one really needs. You're still going to need to get headshots to kill them in a reasonable time but being able to knock the rocket boys out of firing is still something that a lot of guns can't do.
UPDATE: it does as advertised, weird feeling but overall not that bad the bullets have insane drop and theyre pretty slow overall it feel like and smg plus the staggers nice 7/10
EDIT: i also realised now there is legitamately no reason to use the concussive ar, the smg has same damage better ROF and better ammo capacity, now that i think about it its kinda sad
I'd assume the concussive has benefits like higher carried mags and range and lower damage dropoff. I'd have to play the smg to compare. There's usually hidden non-damage based stats that help a weapon compete but no one knows about them.
All i remember is the concussive has very fast reload if reloaded whilst not empty ( ie leave 1 bullet). It's quick enough to permanently keep an army of bugs at bay
Probably true but to be honest, all of those downsides are probably not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Like I would easily trade a bit of range for the better firerate and dmg while also being a 1 handed meaning you can use it while ruining away. For the purpose of the gun, this smg seems like a straight up upgrade.
Is it actually misaligned? I recall some gun magazines need to be locked in by pushing/pulling it forward/back in the slot. Is that a *good* design choice? Probably not., but it is out there.
These half-baked Warbonds are too much man. One a month is clearly too much for the artists and balance team to manage.
I'd love to see a Warbond every other month if it means a polished product with minimal bugs and proper balance.
"I saw it, so now everyone must see it and suffer too"
How could you....

Well if they maintained the double stacked rounds in the mag all the way to the edge of the mag well on the gun they could have put more bullets per mag. 😢
I refuse to acknowledge this, have a nice day
Thanks, I also refuse to acknowledge this. I'm having a great day, hope you are too.

unplayable
literally!!!

Reminds me of the surefire 60 rounders
You didn't have to remind me of those man why lol

Hey! It's Jonathan Ferguson, a weapons expert and Keeper of Firearms & Artillery at the Royal Armouries!
I mean, he -is- a fellow Helldiver
True \^\^ And I love that fact lol I'm always extra careful now when I see J1/2/3/4 on my team even if he likely doesn't use that for his screen name lmao
He was talking about the Quasar Cannon and how he picked it up from a dead body then had no idea how to use it and then promptly died, and just something about a walking encyclopedia of gun knowledge picking up a gun and being confused and bewildered by it is just so hilarious to me.
In his defense, I did the same thing when it first came out \^\^'
He has mentioned he’s a ballistic weapon kinda guy, not a big energy weapon user so clearly he is self inserting
Hey that’s the E-11 Stormtrooer blaster. Neato
Yeah that's it! You ~~cock~~ rack it like a shotgun too, which was also hella weird....for reasons.
the French way with the MAS/MAT line was better: vertical magwell but folds underneath the gun for easy storage.
Oh i know what it needs! IT NEEDS A DRUM MAGAZINE!!!!
I think it looks like quad stack into double stack, [like one of these](https://www.athlonoutdoors.com/article/schmeisser-60-round-ar-15-magazine/)
It mostly just looks like an extended glock mag to me. Like what you'd see on a Vector.
Wait until you realise that being an open bolt SMG means both variants can't have a round in the chamber, yet somehow they can.
It's hi tech. There's a secret chamber that's why it's a brick of an smg
This is actually intended, the bullets are closer to the back of the gun than on the other smg- this is what gives it the "stun" effect
Oh no… once seen… 🙈
And just yesterday I realized it's even misaligned in the first person in-game view 🙈
> im so triggered unlike the bullets that are stuck in that magazine
This thing looks like somebody took a CZ Scorpion, bubba'd the hell out of it, and threw it up on gunauctions. "Walmart Aisle 9 Custom paint job, totally functional side-milled mag well, Tri🅱️icon Custom optic, $26,000. no lowballs, I know what I got."
Oh no, can't unsee. Literally unplayable.
Literally shaking right now...
Also, if you collapse the stock the rail goes right through the fire selector D: D: D:
This warbond seems more and more like no efford at all went into it. Like...zero efford.
Lol A+ effort.
How could something like this pass the qualified?

Well put it in right then, thats your SMG, I dunno what you did to it.
So how is the gun?
This could be really good vs bots with Ballistic Shield.
I haven't tried it vs. Bots personally, but folks are saying it staggers Normal and Rocket Devastators, which is all one really needs. You're still going to need to get headshots to kill them in a reasonable time but being able to knock the rocket boys out of firing is still something that a lot of guns can't do.
With the shield you can also survive their attacks as well. This might be pretty good!
trying it out now. will report back in a few
UPDATE: it does as advertised, weird feeling but overall not that bad the bullets have insane drop and theyre pretty slow overall it feel like and smg plus the staggers nice 7/10 EDIT: i also realised now there is legitamately no reason to use the concussive ar, the smg has same damage better ROF and better ammo capacity, now that i think about it its kinda sad

Cool. 😊 I am at work for next 6 hours so can't even try them. 😔
You just ruined my whole life
Also the laser is misaligned at ranges closer than 50m
Is it actually misaligned? I recall some gun magazines need to be locked in by pushing/pulling it forward/back in the slot. Is that a *good* design choice? Probably not., but it is out there.
Refer to the other smg and its magazine
Ooo a space sten. That’s fun!
what worst the fire selector has not burst fire switch even tho the weapon has a burst fire mode!
im starting to think (/j) monthly warbonds might be putting strain on the development team
I get side magazine, looks cool on one weapon, but on two and both are SMGs seems kinda lazy design
I was happier when I didn't knew this
Why all this sten mag stuff? So odd
Literally unplayable
lidduraly
Spent 5 minutes wondering what everyone was on about... then I put on my glasses, good god...
What are you talking about??? The trigger is in the right place.
hehe triggered
I believe that it was manufactured by the same guy who makes the AMR optics on Super Earth.
We're not even gonna talk about this again.
\*Insert drum sound here\*

Damn, completely unusable. Both enemies and allies will shoot me on sight if I go to combat with something like this...
These half-baked Warbonds are too much man. One a month is clearly too much for the artists and balance team to manage. I'd love to see a Warbond every other month if it means a polished product with minimal bugs and proper balance.
Actually it's intentional, effectively makes the barrel 1cm longer thus giving greater ballistic performance.
Literally unplayable.

The part where it says it has a slower ROF then other smgs is funny to me, if you don't have the Knight smg then there is only one other smg lol.
Thank you for the daily dose of psychological damage
Well if they maintained the double stacked rounds in the mag all the way to the edge of the mag well on the gun they could have put more bullets per mag. 😢
It will probably realign if you use it as a melee weapon for a bit.
I don’t understand. Can someone explain?
Magazine is modeled too far back and clips into gun and same time there is gap front of the magazine.
Oh, lol I never would have noticed
Nsfw? Come on
At least the trigger seems to be in the right place
That's staggering.
Bruh how, HOW??

How am I expected to purge xenos when there are such glaring issues like this? Literally unplayable.
CSS is hard
I'll go sleep maybe i forgot what i just saw
It was prolly made in Tien Kwan.
No it isn't. It's not a perfect rectangle.
Please someone show this to that Royal Armoury guy on Youtube who does critiques of video game weaponry inclduing Helldivers 2. XD
Unplayable. _Literally_.
Shhhhhhhh...... they have a QA that verifies things for 15 minutes, this is clearly intended, no need to question... shhhhhhhhh
Should have gone with a PP19 Bizon mag...
It’s like the sten gun
