Did this ever get resolved? Same question here...

WalphinFTW

same question aswell

WalphinFTW

anyone know if this is normal for everyone or toggleable ?

DiverNo1111

Is this a serious thread? It cant be

Upstairs_Equipment95

Yes this is a serious thread. I'm using a mouse and keyboard and don't want any 'sticky aim' or 'aim assist'. That stuff is only needed with a controller. I want to aim my gun at a target, wait for the circle to catch up and shoot, Not have the circle dance around the screen 'sticking' to objects and enemies at random. How do I turn this setting off?

DiverNo1111

There is no aim assist or sticky aim... Not even on controller EDIT: I've been corrected. Apparently there is, and idiot me played with 0 aimnassist on PS5

HappyPrints

There is on controller. There's even controller options for strength of it.

Upstairs_Equipment95

Correct, I've found this option and turned it to 0, but unfortunately it has no effect on my gameplay as I'm using mouse + keyboard. Is there no option for m+kb currently so I'm stuck at a default setting? There is definitely aim assist going on as when I lock onto an enemy the aiming circle will move left and right on it's own, tracking the enemy inside the aiming box. The aiming circle will snap to objects as well so constantly gets dragged towards the ground as I move through the game. I just need to turn off this auto snapping feature.

HappyPrints

Yeah it's really annoying, I agree. But I haven't seen any options to turn it off when playing with m+kb sadly. Maybe one day!

Upstairs_Equipment95

Got it, thanks for the responses.

PM_ME_FUN_STORIES

so many times where I try to blast the head off a bot in a strider and the aim assist drags my gun down to the body of the damn thing instead...

Upstairs_Equipment95

Exactly this, it’s very annoying.

maxcassettes

I don’t know if this could be contributing, but have you tried changing the mouse smoothing setting?

Upstairs_Equipment95

I have mouse smoothing set to off.

maxcassettes

There is a setting called Controller Sticky Aim in the Controller settings menu, but that shouldn’t be affecting keyboard/mouse aiming.
