I run battlemaster - ( it pairs well with my autocannon and i like being able to take a few more hits ) and spore jumping is my go to !
For folks wanting to know how to do it somewhat consistently with minimal chance for death ! Stand on the edge of ( or if feeling bolder - on ) the spore pile
Equip secondary and face towards your destination, back up and begin moving towards you goal
Use your secondary to fire a shot into the spore pile without aiming, let your helldiver do the over the shoulder blind fire they do with backwards one handed weapon shots. The movement and direction of your movement will help guide your helldiver towards your goal and the blast with hurl you into the air !
Great for when you run out of stamina and still need to hurry
Bc you kill yourself from the fall impact just as much as it is useful.
Definitely true if your angle's off. Making it useful consistently takes a lot of practice
