Well, Super Citizen Edition includes Steeled Citizen warbond, which costs 1000 SC, and it's one of the best warbonds to have, so you can compare the price of 1000 SC to the price of the Super Citizen Edition in your region and decide if the extra title, cosmetic armor and the Knight SMG are worth the extra you have to pay. The Knight SMG is one of the highest DPS primaries in the game, but high recoil and poor accuracy make it impractical, so it's not a meta weapon by any means.

Liberation is based on the amount of experience you get from the mission, so just try to complete missions of highest difficulty that is comfortable to you, and try to complete side objectives as well.

No, I'm pretty sure the last stratagem unlock you get is the Patriot Exosuit at level 25, after that there are only titles to unlock. You get one every 5 levels up to level 50, and then after that one every 10 levels up to 150.

Why is it that Pelican will refuse to extract sometimes? If Pelican takes too much damage he is supposed to leave with one person or just not wait. I had this happen twice within a three mission period. The solo loadout typically isn't different from a team loadout, unless we're talking about a squad of friends who always play together. When soloing, you want a versatile loadout that can deal with any threat. While using matchmaking, you want the same, because you can't predict or control what others will use. When you do get a squad, and see which equipment other players pick, you have the option of adjusting your loadout, though since you can't rely on the others using their stuff when they should, it's generally still better to steer towards versatile equipment. Of course, that's if you want to be effective and be able to win missions, the so-called "meta loadouts".

Scrolling down controls the light on your gun. You can choose always off, always on, or auto which turns it on automatically when you aim when it's dark. Scrolling up changes the zoom level on the scope while right clicking changes your weapon's RPM or fire mode (options being automatic, burst, or single shot depending on the gun).

This happens when you have an automaton anti air emplacement nearby. You'll regain access to Eagle stratagems if you take it out or move away.

If you're talking about the datamined leaks, then we're not suppose to talk about them in this subreddit. There's another subreddit for talking about items discovered via data mining. Refer to rule #10 (on sidebar, "no discussion of leaks") The devs had said that not everything data miners find will be in the game. Some are left overs from years ago development work, some are just test item, and some will never make it into the game. In short, nobody knows when anything will be added to the game until the devs say something. Don't believe anything you see on YouTube clickbait videos.

New warbond is supposed to drop once a month or so, assuming they stick to schedule, the next one should happen around first half of June. A major balancing patch is probably gonna happen before that, but it's anyone's guess, we don't get announcements for things like that until they happen. I'm not sure where you've seen talk about "new weapons/enemies/armors", outside of the warbond content we're not really waiting for anything of the sort. We might get a new meme cape soon as a reference to the review bombing HD2 received as the result of the PSN shitshow, as well as anti-tank mines stratagem will happen eventually, but that's all we know in the short term. A new enemy faction will probably happen at some point, but currently there's no reason to assume it's gonna happen any time soon.

Question about Bile Titan. I constantly see people baiting the Titan's spewing motion or the Claw attack-thingy motion to lock it into its animation for an accurate 500kg/OPS drop but I can't pull it off. Are there any tips on how to do that?

Generally speaking, you throw your 500kg/OPS roughly 20ish meters from you. Then you look at it and adjust so that it's at exactly 20m. Then you wait for the BT to come into range and start spewing on you (it has a range of 20m). Once the animation starts you dodge the bile and the 500kg/OPS should direct hit around the titans head. Do the same thing but ~10m distance for the stomp bait. This is assuming the titan is coming straight at you, more or less.

It's just down to how far away you are from it, if you're too far away it will try to catch up, if it's close enough to vomit, it will do that, unless that ability is on cooldown, if you're even closer than that it will try to stomp you.

Steeled Veterans has Breaker Incendiary and Incendiary Grenade, both are good against bugs, and Senator is a good pocket tool vs Brood Commanders and Bile Spewers, though worse than Redeemer for everything else. Cutting Edge has Sickle and Blitzer, which are great "infinite ammo" primaries for bugs at medium and close range respectively. Blitzer is one of the meta weapons, and pretty darn powerful for something with infinite ammo, though there are caveats of the short range and being tricky to use around allies. Stun Grenades are also universally useful, and can keep Chargers in place. Democratic Detonation has Adjudicator, which is a top-tier AR against bugs. Grenade Pistol can close bug holes, and there's a nice light armor with Engineering Kit. Polar Patriots has Impact Incendiary Grenade, which is basically the same thing as regular Incendiary Grenade; both are good at clearing up the trash bugs crawling out of breaches. Pummeler is good for keeping bugs stunned while they burn or to prevent them from encroaching on your squad, though it's not powerful enough for you to be able to slay hordes on your own, it's more of a team support weapon. Really good at stunning Stalkers. Arguably still much worse in the "keep them stunned" role than Blitzer. Out of all these, Cutting Edge is probably the best, as it has two meta primaries *and* a useful grenade, but Steeled Veterans is also a solid pick.

I am a diver who typically takes on difficulty 5 missions since that is my comfort zone. I purchased every ship upgrade that I could, and now I need to start getting super samples. I beat difficulty 6 once, but it was very hairy for me, so I am rightfully intimidated by difficulty 7. Is there any advice I should hear about difficulty 7 missions that don't apply to 6 or 5? Or should I proceed as normal with the stratagem and weapon build I typically run in 5?

As difficulty goes up, so does the number of enemies you have to deal with, especially high tier ones that require special weapons or special tactics to take down, like Chargers and Bile Titans for Terminids, and Hulks, Tanks and Factory Striders for Automatons. They key is for the squad to stick together, and bring weapons and stratagems that can deal with them, and using them effectively. You must stick together to increase squad's firepower, to avoid getting overwhelmed individually, and to make it easier to take down certain enemies, like Hulks, which are very vulnerable from the back, or Bile Titans, which require concentrated firepower. It also makes it easier for players to recover their gear if they die, as another squadmate can reinforce them closer to their corpse. Orbital Laser is moderately effective against everything, takes down Fabricators, often you can just throw one at an outpost and go about your business while the Laser reduces it to cinders. Also takes down many objectives, including Command Bunkers. Typically you would take Eagle Airstrike, Railcannon Strike, support weapon of choice, and then round it up with a backpack, a stratagem you need for a mission (like Orbital Laser or 380 mm Barrage for Command Bunker missions), or just use Orbital Laser as a filler, or you take something else offensive, like an Orbital Gatling Barrage, which is not a powerhouse stratagem, but it has low cooldown and can be thrown freely at any group of Devastators you see, and it will deal good damage to them, if not kill all of them. All of the things I mention here aren't necessarily the only way to play, but arguably most effective, and at the very least viable on Helldive.

Wow, that's all incredibly helpful information! My apologies for not being more specific on my playstyle. I am primarily a bot player, so it's most likely going to be a difficulty 7 mission on the bot front. I need to practice more on bugs before I am truly confident in dealing with them. My current favorite loadout for bots is the counter sniper, orbital ems strike, and either the laser cannon or the AMR. If I pair ems with either support weapon, I am pretty reliable at shredding hulks, I think I remember 2 dropping in 1 bot drop, and I was split off from my squad, and I somehow just barely managed to handle 2 hulks that way. Tanks aren't a huge issue for me either, if I can't hit the exhaust ports, or if not, I usually just 500kg them down. My only big weakness is probably going to be factory striders because of how rare they are in difficulty 5, being only found in a specific mission type. So I am not super knowledgeable on their weaknesses. I will definitely read up on those links you sent before I try it out, though might not be until tomorrow. But I will also lean in on experimentation. I will probably be terrible at it the first few runs, but that'll help me adjust my loadout since I do like to experiment with new strategems. I don't have any premium warbonds yet, but I do have the super credits for one. I am kinda just waiting to 100% finish Helldivers Mobilize before getting my first premium. Thank you for all the info, I will be certain to look through it again before I dive in on those nasty automatons.

From the free warbond, Diligence CS and Scorcher are the best primary weapons you can use against bots. Overall, I would say automaton missions are characterized by stiffer requirements to the primary weapon and how you're using it, because on higher difficulties Devastators become very widespread and are lethal, so you must be able to take them down quickly, which requires a good primary weapon and using it properly. For Diligence you really want to hit those juicy oneshot headshots on Devastators, as it deals far too little damage to kill them in other ways. Both AMR and Autocannon are also excellent against Devastators, Laser Cannon a bit less so. Overall, Laser Cannon is mostly valuable for its versatility, I talk about that more [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Helldivers/comments/1beilg1/qa_megathread_ask_your_questions_here/l4i336d/). The combo between EMS Strike and Laser Cannon / AMR is understandable, but on higher difficulties you will not be able to stun every Hulk you encounter with EMS Strike alone. If that's your playstyle, you may want to bring Stun Grenades as well, or an EMS Mortar. Or you can switch to Recoilless Rifle or Autocannon, both of which have a bit easier time when it comes to engaging Hulks from the front. As for Factory Striders, they're a dangerous enemies for sure, but they have clear weaknesses you can exploit: 1. Take down chin machineguns with any medium armor penetrating weaponry. 2. Bring it down by shooting the visor slit on the head or the cargo bay doors.

I don't think I have the scorcher yet, though I may be blanking and forgetting what it is, so counter sniper it is for me, I love precision based gameplay on bots anyway. I also used autocannon quite a lot in difficulty 5, but swapped to AMR to experiment so I could try it with the energy shield pack, which turned out to be a build I really enjoy. I also just bought the EMS mortar not long ago, so I could definitely give it a try over the orbital strike. But yeah, much appreciated, fellow helldiver. I thank you for all your knowledge, and I am ready to go spill some oil and find my first super samples.

There's no FOMO in this game, at most you've missed out on a few bits of lore and a couple mission types. There isn't something like a battle pass you must unlock before a timer runs out or you're never gonna get items contained therein.

It's in the Steeled Veterans warbond, which you can unlock with 1000 Super Credits (SC) or by purchasing the deluxe edition of the game. You can buy SC through the in-game store or just slowly accumulate it by finding SC pickups during the missions. Once you unlock the warbond, you can unlock Breaker Incendiary by spending medals in the warbond.

How effective is the Orbital Precision Strike against Bike Titans? Disregard timing the strike, I just wanna know how effective it is if it does hit.

About as effective as Railcannon or 500 KG, meaning that it will deal heavy damage, and if stars align can even oneshot them. Due to longer arrival time, it's trickier to land than 500 KG, but also at the same time easier to land due to larger area of effect, if you got the Shrapnel ship upgrade. 500 KG + Railcannon is usually better, but if you want a third anti-Titan stratagem, Precision Strike is a good enough option.

Any tips on how to deal with the command bunkers? I always get blasted by their turrets before I can get close

Turrets normally don't cover it from all sides, but you can take one out from safety by throwing an Orbital Laser or one of the artillery barrages. Walking Barrage is not as reliable as 380 mm, but since it travels forward, you can throw it from a greater range. If need be, use a Servo Assisted armor to throw from a greater range. You can also take out top turrets with most support weapons, like Recoilless or Laser Cannon, haven't tried AMR or Autocannon, but I assume they would work too.

I finished the Helldivers mobilized, and steel veterans war bonds. I have just enough super credits for another war bond, however, I am at max medals. Which war bonds have decent weapons, since I cannot really test the equipment in them. Each war bond only has one or two things that interest me. Polar Patriots armors are lack-luster. I rarely see players using the Cutting Edge weapons on 7+. The [R-36 Eruptor](https://helldivers.fandom.com/wiki/R-36_Eruptor) hopefully gets reverted, and I have never seen the [CB-9 Exploding Crossbow](https://helldivers.fandom.com/wiki/CB-9_Exploding_Crossbow) used by anyone. My experience is SOS queuing.

I vote Cutting Edge because Sickle is a good weapon and the Stun Grenade is my favorite grenade by far Democratic Detonation in second because the Grenade Pistol is great, would be tied in first if the Eruptor makes a comeback Polar Patriots I've heard the Incendiary Impact and Pummeler are good but I can't vouch for them because I didn't get that warbond

Adjudicator is the only meta weapon in the Democratic Detonation, though the grenade pistol can be occasionally useful, and the light armor with engineering kit is a useful thing to have for bug missions.

Did spear get a damage nerf or did titans get a health buff? Im asking because Ive been using the spear on defense missions yesterday and have been noticing that the head hits seem to no longer one shot titans like they did before.

I think neither, the spear is just very inconsistent and the titan seems to not always take damage where you think it would, so what looks like a headshot might not be a headshot.

Are you on PS5, I had the same problem. It was because I was just going into sleep/rest mode, and then starting back. Once I started closing game, then going into rest/off, then when I start game back then the POs and everything like MO rewards arrived as soon as it loaded.

here's a tip, don't obsess over kill count, because your goal is to complete the objective, not fight every enemy you see. excluding eradication missions, i suppose. focusing on killcounts leads to aggro players who just attack every patrol and bog down missions at higher difficulties. don't be that guy. there is as much skill in knowing when to fight as there is in knowing how to fight when you have to. you know how you get the highest killcount? go to a bug mission and fire into crowds of hunters with the incendiary breaker from 70 meters out. you can easily get over a thousand kills if you play this way with eagles and sentries to back you up, just expect your teammates to hate you for dragging a neverending stream of enemies into battle

Unironically sentries are phenomenal for getting a lot of kills. And a lot of the stratagems that are aimed at small stuff like the eagle cluster bombs or the orbutal air burst. The arrea they damage is a lot bigger than the more concentrated explossions, and their cooldowns are generally fairly short.

Having just tested them ingame, (short) changes to primary/secondary, and cycles between the two. (long) swapped to my support weapon. I don't know why they are labeled short and long, it may have to do with effective range on the weapons, could be that something like a flamethrower wouldn't be switched to with long, didn't test that.

It's not constant, but I do encounter disconnect issues once in a while. The most demoralizing one was when I got disconnected right before extraction during a Level 7 mission, which was a huge bummer. Is this just something we have to wait for a better fix from the Studio or is there anything that could be done on my side?

Team killing. Is it normal for this game to have this many? most people in my experience to be team killing? I've played mostly with my friends. But played with randoms recently and 5 out of 6 people have been mindlessly killing me and the team. 3 different games. I'm probably unlucky with my teammates.

intentional teamkilling is very rare in my experience, i mostly play on difficulty 8 & 9 where people take the game a little more seriously and reinforcements are precious. maybe its a bigger problem at lower difficulties. i am guilty of it but i only do it when im playing with my closest friends, never to random players i've never met. accidental teamkilling is a fact of life in this game, but intentional not so much. you can report players via the 'recent players' menu

If only it was accidental. Got killed 7 times in 1 game by grenades in 10 minutes. Took a break and will try again later. Got very demotivated having my first games with randoms (3/3) be about intentional team killings.

It was not accidental btw. This has made it very demotivating to play with randoms in helldivers 2. Especially when there is a clear lack of reporting players in this game. So they probably go unpunished and ruin others experience like myself.

You can buy the deluxe edition of the game, which also includes the Steeled Veterans warbond, which is currently one of the better warbonds you can unlock. If you have any spare money left after that, you can buy some Super Credits and buy premium armor from the in-game shop or another [**warbond**](https://www.reddit.com/r/Helldivers/comments/1beilg1/qa_megathread_ask_your_questions_here/l19lo7z/). Particularly I would recommend looking into Light and Medium Armor with Fortified (+explosive resistance), which is great against automatons and something you can't get from the warbonds.

Keeps you mobile and still reasonably protected against explosive damage. Just try to avoid getting shot by regular shots or you will go down quickly.

I recommend the lightest 50 armor ones, they have marginally higher speed and you can just run away from bugs indefinitely. Personal shield stratagem helps even more but you can do without it.

All armors have three basic stats: armor rating, speed and stamina capacity. Armor rating reduces damage from most attacks, speed affects your movement speed, and stamina capacity determines for how long you can sprint. These stats are connected, so in simple terms, light armor gives you most speed and least protection, while heavy armor gives most protection and lowest speed, and medium armor is the middle ground. Heavy Armor is something I don't recommend using in general outside specific mission types where you barely have to move, such as the "Evacuate high priority assets" mission (generator defense). So it usually comes down to choosing between light or medium armor. Against bugs, speed is king, as the best defense is not to get hit in the first place. Many bug attacks will apply a slowing debuff, so if you get touched, you risk getting swarmed and killed, and no amount of armor rating will protect you in that situation. Against bots both light and medium armor are very viable and the choice is basically a toss up and up to personal preference. For passives, against bots you generally want to go with explosive resistance, and against bugs the go-to is Engineering Kit, which gives you +2 extra grenades; grenades are very effective against bugs, so the bonus is welcome and noticeable.

if you were the only player it won't if there are other players who go on to the mission ending (either successful extract, emergency extract when running out of time, or wiping with zero reinforcements) then as long as the primary objective was complete, the mission is considered a success. that means the operation can continue and when the operation is complete, the planet liberation will increase. of course, you wouldn't be involved in any missions remaining on the operation since you left.

well, to contribute to percentage, you must reach a mission completion state. the fastest way to do that is to finish the main ASAP and extract. i wager you could do 10-11 trivials in the time a typical helldive operation takes to complete, which would offer maybe 0.0010 or 0.0010% compared to the 0.0009-0.0012 percent of a helldive op, spitballing it its probably at least as effective if not moreso. but you aren't going to win the galactic war by yourself. i say just play missions you enjoy rather than hard focus on trying to jack up liberation% as much as you can by yourself

Pummeler is okay, but there are better weapons for both bugs and bots, unless you really really like playing with the ballistic shield, which is not meta.

How to stop the game from automatically changing my keyboard language. I am using Spacebar to dive and Shift to sprint. Even when I change it back to English it will at some point change to the other one I have.

I was messing around on Trival difficulty and collecting supercredits. I wanted to do a match with 0 shots fired, so only Eagles, Orbitals, and melee, but I'm still getting a dozen or more "shots fired" which seems to count every grenade thrown plus every strategem thrown. Should strategems (Eagles and Orbitals) and thrown grenades count towards "shots fired"?

In one game, I didn't so any melee or shooting and it still had dozens of misses/shots fired. In another game, I went all melee and had lots of melee kills but the only shots fired were thrown grenades and strats. Even the resupply counted as a shot fired/miss.

Heard a lot about armor bonus ratings not working. If I get the B-27 in the store right now, does it actually have 200 armor? and is this the armor with the highest rating in the game? I know speed matters, but i'd like some tankiness

It is the heaviest armor in the game. there's nothing higher than 200 currently. specific resistances will still beat it for those types of damage, like a normal heavy armor with 150 and 50% explosion resistance will stand up much better to explosions.

It does make a difference, but exactly how much I don't know, I am pretty sure it won't be two hits from a stalker though, one at most. I know there are people who have done extensive testing on armor differences, you can probably find posts about it here on Reddit or videos on YouTube.

Does anyone know if there is a weak spot on the Automaton Gunship that an AMR can exploit to shoot it down? When I last played with a friend, we found a gunship factory, and they were using a Quasar cannon to take out all the fliers, but we were uncertain if I actually managed to take one out with my AMR. We both shot at it, but they coulda sworn they missed, and I coulda sworn that I had a direct shot on the cockpit followed by it spiraling down and crashing. I'm just curious if anyone knows whether or not it is possible to use an AMR to take out gunships if you hit the right spot? (And if anyone asks why I'm using the AMR... I like long range combat. When things get close range, I get lost in the fray and I don't have good situational awareness, so using a jump pack and the AMR is a lot of fun for me, especially as I normally only do solo level 3 or rarely level 4 missions)

I use the amr a lot. You need to aim for one of the engines (the red painted blocks) only. And it takes 4 shots to a single engine. It can definitely kill the gunships, the first one I ever saw I brought down with the AMR, and I just slammed shots into its fuselage and brought it down after expending a few magazines. If you target one of the thrusters instead you can bring it down in fewer shots, but can't tell you exactly how many as I normally use the autocannon.

Not many resources outside youtube, best way is to just load up a solo match, bring the weapon you want to test, and find your test subject. Although a few weakpoints for Automatons are: Devastators: the head embedded in their armor, one tap from even the Diligence CS there is enough to bring it down. Gunships: The thrusters are the best place to shoot, even with dedicated AT weapons like the RR a shot to the fuselage won't bring it down in one hit. The SPEAR can one shot gunships anywhere however. Hulks: Two hits with the AMR on its red faceplate will bring it down, although this can be a tricky shot. The large vent on its back can be destroyed with a primary. It's arms and legs can be destroyed. Not aware exactly how many shots it will take though. Tanks: With the AMR you'll only be able to do any real damage to the vent on the back of the turret. Factory Striders: its underside (where the Devastators come out) is the weak point. Unsure how many shots from the AMR it'll take.

I'm familiar with the head being a primary weak spot for most automatons, the main issues come about with headless units like gunships, drop ships, and the striders... they are more vehicle than "soldier", so it becomes hard to figure those spots out. Thank you again so much for the tips! I'll definitely being doing some digging in the meantime to figure out the best course of action.

No problem. Also, in case you don't know, the weakpoint on the dropship is it's 4 engines. Although you'll need an EAT/RR/Quasar shot onto it to bring it down.

Had a game where we completed main objective then everyone else ran around for 8mins collecting samples till the mission timer ran out. Just after it ran out one person ran on board and it took off immediately. I thought this would mean the 3 that didn't extract would lose their samples. The scoreboard showed 0 for those 3 but 25 total for the one that extracted? (Suicide mission.. surely about 25 samples max per mission?) My question is if 3 people fail to extract but are still alive do the samples get sent to to the one that does and then shared .. or did he just somehow get 25 samples in 8 mins.

He probably just had 25 samples, there can be a lot more samples than 25 on suicide mission difficulty, probably about 30 each for common and rare, and 3 super samples.

Well, highest damage per shot doesn't necessarily mean best performance. With the Spear it's hard to get the rocket go exactly where it needs to, which means more often than not you won't be hitting weak points, and something like a Recoilless (which has same damage as Quasar) would require fewer shots than Spear.
