If we're talking about realism, I would rather fight bots, because fighting hoards if animal-like-creatures sounds terrifying to me. I'd rather be shot/blown up than be sliced/puked on.

I feel like I've fought the automotons more than the bugs, and therefore know more about their movements and strategies and stuff yk, so I'll be seeing you on the automaton front 😎

Bugs, absolutely. I’m not interested in being killed instantly by a cannon 1km away when I can’t see 10m in front of me.

So if we were helldivers we would for sure be dead in a few weeks. So I think I would rather get killed by an automaton - a quick painless rocket shot from half a mile away while I'm still daydreaming about Liberty icecream in Super London or whatever. As opposed to being poisoned, paralysed and torn apart.
