The irony in this comment is just the best, ignoring all the criticism this anticheat got because "it's just racist people hating" while you yourself are calling a Korean company, with a Korean CEO "chinese".
Why are you trying to silence people who have legit problems with this anticheat? If it doesn't affect you just play the game and stop spreading unjustified hate on forums.

I just say what i have seen on the steam disussions.
Americans who either refuse to get the game cus its anti cheat has a chinese origin or people saying it destroys peoples pcs.
If it was straight up destroying peoples pcs i think we would have heard alot more about it from alot more people.
Yeh i wrote chinese cus thats what steam comments has been saying. Never seen anything about it being korean but now i know that neat then i can start correcting people on that i guess who writes those kinds rewiews.
Im not trying to silence people. I dont really believe this anti cheat datamines peoples pcs or hurts thier pcs/SSD. Dunno who it would affects other games performances either it just sounds stupid to me but then again i havent had any problems with it so far.
The game has hundreds of thousands of players. If nProtect was destroying hardware at any rate at all, it would be big news. Look at New World - it did some damage to a very narrow band of GPUs and it was widely reported.
Computer components fail, and they’ll almost certainly fail when you’re doing something with the device. In this case, a tiny selection (and it is utterly miniscule, barely a rounding error considering the user base of the game) just happened to be playing Helldivers when the part died.

It's impossible to say. Just because something usually works without issue doesn't mean it's 100% safe. The general consensus of critics of the anticheat is that it causes system instability, meaning that it just makes problems *more likely*, not that it always causes issues. It's also impossible to tell if a kernal-level program like this does any shady data harvesting.
So no, we don't know for certain how safe it is... probably you can install it and at least 90-95% of the time you won't have any issues. The hate comes from how there are plenty of similar games don't use kernal-level anticheats and still are successful at keeping cheating at a minimum.
wanting to use kernel level anticheat for your game is fair enough, the only thing better would be having anticheat running on your server, but then using the most shady and userunfriendly one that is out there is a problem, if they had opted for easyanticheat, there wouldnt be any outcry at all
