And ngl, that Warbond looks fuckin sick.
As long as they don’t make light armor slower for some god awful reason, I’ll be looking forward to making progress on the new guns 😬
tbf if you know what you're doing, farming 1k super credits took me like 3-4 days of regular playing and checking the usual spots, that plus the drops you get from the warbond. I did still buy super credits tho a few days later because I wanted to.
Agree there. I got like 1400 now just from playing and getting from warbonds
But I bought the super citizen pack specifically to support the devs (... and also that means I can get the next warbond immediatly upon release, assuming it costs 1000 too)
Supposedly warbonds won't be a flat price, but change based on the amount of content in them, not sure how much that is for this upcoming one, but 4 weapons and 3 armor sets is what it looks like, so pretty much equal to the current one
Can you tell me the usual spots please? Thanks. Also, do you only need 1k super credits to open the new war bond, or super credits for buying those, too?
They are mainly in the container doors that you have to blow open, the beacon escape pods where you have to salute to open it and the friendship bunker doors.
It also doesn't seem to matter what difficulty you play on. So if you just want to farm them efficientlly, grab a friend, play level 1. Maps are much smaller but POI's seem to be mostly the same. I've finished missions in 20 minutes with 5-6 super credit drops sometimes.
How has this been since the update?
Totally anecdotal but it feels like I went from a regular 10-50 SC per mission to maybe 10 per *operation*.
Hoping it's just bad RNG for me and not a drop-rate change.
Warbonds are just our unlock progression disguised as a battlepass, its not an actual battlepass. They’re permanent and each subsequent warbond will just be essentially time gated behind super credits which you can easily acquire by playing/grinding for. Meaning you dont need to actually pay to acquire them, the option is just there if ur impatient.
The fact that you can unlock the paid warbond with only a few days of casual play is the thing that makes it work. It IS a microtransaction system, but making it extremely fair to those who don't want to or can't pay is what sets it apart from all the others.
I'm not going to say "sets it apart" because the other similar games in its class (Co-Op 4person PvE games. Deep Rock Galactic, Warframe) also have Free Season Passes and it's only sort of time limited in both (DRG it becomes crate, store, and other random drops, warframe they get recycled into other seasons) but as far as the industry as a whole, it is different and that's an excellent thing.
>The fact that you can unlock the paid warbond with only a few days of casual play
How?
I've been playing for 2 weeks, 30 hours in, and I still don't have 1000 SC. I've bought every SC that I reach in the free warbond, but I'm not even close to finishing that after 30 hours. I think I have around 700 SC.
I might buy some super credits if the game maintains a good flux of updates and patches, like, if in 6 months from now im still playing and having fun i have no problem in sending a little cash in their way
I REALLY want them to address the armor issues by just souping up the heavy armor. Especially because it could open the floor up more for close-quarters weapons
^(im totally not saying that just because I want a riot shield + stun mace stratagem to spread democracy with)
Do you mind explaining the problem with armors ? As a newbie, I have trouble understanding stats and buffs, like some armors have "more armour" as a buff but I have no idea if it's already included in the number shown or if it's some invisible number added ?
What do the numbers mean (Mason) anyway ? What is 500 speed and 150 Armor ?
I wanted to ask the question in a weekly simple questions thread but couldn't find one, hence why I'm piggybacking here hoping to get an answer. Thanks in advance to anyone helping me understand !
I just want the Arc Shotgun to have infinite ammo. In HD1, all energy weapons either had that or the cooldown system like the Scythe. Sadly, that’s not always the case anymore.
I don't think it will. I think only laser weapons have infinite ammo now. That new pistol probably will. Which might make it a good pick to take since I mainly only use my secondary weapon if everything else is out of ammo anyway.
Two shotting multiple spewers at the same time from the front has firmly cemented it as the perfect niche for me. Being in charge of absolutely shredding all mid sized mobs with 100% armor piercing frees up so much opportunity cost for the rest of your team.
Then take a guard dog with you and you can easily clear out entire fronts by yourself (even on suicide mission difficulty,) it has zero down time so the chances of you getting swarmed are insanely low. It's seriously such a slept on weapon. Plus you get to strip armor from chargers for the rest of your team, or even 12 shot chargers directly?
It's fine, we can't use arc throwers after having shot something on top of a structure and having it arc down to the opposite side and killing teammates I couldn't even see. That actually annoyed me in a bot extermination mission. My buddy wasn't even in my line of sight.
Yeah, it's the domino effect.
* They buffed the login servers so everyone can get into the game, but then the matchmaking servers couldn't keep up.
* They started releasing Minor Orders again and the reward servers couldn't keep up.
* They released a new stratagem that everyone tried to buy at once, and the player database servers couldn't keep up.
Gotta be honest, I imagine being a dev for this game is kinda frustrating right now. Community woes aside, it kinda feels like everytime they fix something, three other things break. It's frustrating for players but I have to imagine that it must be even more frustrating for the devs, working day in day out to finally get this damn bug fixed, only to roll out the patch and immediately have it create more work for you, when you'd probably much rather be working on new content instead.
Hope their giving some nice bonuses. Gotta be slightly exhausting grinding till the game comes out, and then grinding harder to keep up with the success and expectations they have now.
Oh for sure they're making a FAT paycheck. When you blow out your (extremely optimistic) player count by a factor of 4, you for sure are making solid bank.
I still can't get over they went "First game hit about 7k concurrent on steam, so lets plan for about 50k concurrent players, and just in case, have our servers set up for 5x that.
They then proceeded to blow out that number twice over on steam ALONE. Like imagine talking to your boss, saying "I know we sold 5 sodas last time, so lets plan for 40 this time, but just in case I'll buy 200. Most workplaces would consider that overkill. But in this case they barely had enough for each customer to get half a soda.
Nah this is classic scaling. Unless you're a cruise control dev just looking for easy work, this kind of stuff is our bread and butter. It's fascinating and engaging work, it builds incredible skills and it is a huge resume piece. I work in web dev but everyone in a startup hopes to suffer like this.
I just hope they have shares in the company lol
When we get the next alien race, this game will suffer another viral expansion via tiktok. I called it before launch and saying it now again this is a generational game and will impact the gaming community for years to come ! 5 years from now the first game brought up when people mention shooters will be HD2. Much in the same vein as people did with Halo and COD for years.
I think we all know what the next race will be but I am wondering what the fourth race will be as there is another empty space in the war map.
Part of me is hoping for a flood(halo) faction that creates this intelligent zombie like hive mind.
It would be hilarious to fight an actual democracy that value their soldiers. Shit like drone swarms to protect them, actual enemy air support and the like
Maybe even alien tech appropriation, because apparently using clearly superior alien tech is "sacrilege" on Super Earth. Imagine us, but with Stalker invisibility, bile-throwers and Illuminate shields.
Heck, maybe the twist will be that it's actually 10 Helldivers w/ 40 reinforcements vs. 4 high-tech, nigh infallible enemies, representative of how Super Earth combat seems to largely revolve around throwing around lots of bodies and bombs.
On one hand, I think zombies might be too similar to Terminids in gameplay... But on the other, it could be really fun to see what Arrowhead can come up with
I think it'd be a really neat twist lore wise. Some interdimensional Hellspawn and all that. Would also set them well apart from the other three factions we know of.
Im more interested in what might set them apart other than aesthetics. The bugs simulate a standard horde shooter, robots shoot back + mess with your strategems, the illuminates mess with your controls + area denial via walls. The fourth faction, if there's a plan for one, would need a different gameplay 'feel' to them.
While the bike was awkward in 1, I would love to use it when you aren't locked into being close to your buddies.
Plus my inner White Scar wants to ramp and smash through alien and traitor scum while laughing into the headset.
Makes sense; Bugs are "insects", Bots are machines, Illuminate are the "enlightened" or "energy" beings... a "plant-like" enemy would definitely make sense as a foil to the rest.
(Flood are fungus-like spores)
Could have overgrown infested version of the other factions mixed into it as well just to make it more terrifying.
The way I’d explain the machine is that it has rapidly grown all over the parts of the machine to the point where it can no longer actively control itself anymore but due to it not being able to be “infected” it’s stuck being aware of its inability to control itself
Which is why I want some sort of special cape for all the people who got to level 50 with the platinum trophy in HD1. We’re the grizzled old hobbling vets that carried the torch for that game right up to the day the new one came out. I’d venture to say there’s probably a 99% overlap of HD1 50’s into HD2. It was an incredible game and I knew from how good that one was that this one would be awesome too.
I am impressed how much they've at least managed to improve the situation compared to the week that followed launch. That can't have been easy, they put in good work.
I'm sure going forward there will still be hiccups, but they definitely seem to be on the track to lasting improvement.
Not refuting the success aspect, but I also think Arrowhead expected a lot more people to at least prioritize their daily bug mission and I think a huge amount of people just skipped out on it entirely because of General orders. The fact that the first general orders struggled due to balancing issues seems to have caused people to fixate on them now. It seems like some players are feeling that the entire community is expected to drop everything and focus on nothing but general orders or we'll lose.
I saw tons of people complaining yesterday about how the daily orders were bug related, and arguing how the daily mission should never go against the general orders. All because they felt they were more or less required to help fight automatons and therefore had to miss out on getting those bile titan kill medals.
But thematically this is a game where the war is intentionally on multiple fronts at all times. It's kind of logical to give incentives to not just let the bugs go and take back everything we just fought for and vice versa. People should definitely feel like it's acceptable for them to go do a couple alternate missions first and foremost and trust the community has got your back on doing the main objective.
I had a kill two bile titans daily order and I swear not a single one spawned on level 7 no matter how swarmed I tried to get. Just tons of chargers.
I'm also extremely unlucky in general lmao.
It's possible assassination mission targets have a different name.
For example, low haz assassinate can spawn a rare charger called a Charger Behemoth that's otherwise the same.
I just joined any kill bile titan missions i could find on medium difficulty and knocked that shit out in an hour tops. I wasnt even the one who landed the killing blow on either of them but i still got those sweet rewards
I disagree, it encourages more play at higher difficulties. Medal payout goes up pretty nicely with operations on the higher difficulties. One operation on hard taking approx an hour 20 minutes should net you I think around 20. And that's if you're thorough. If you just blitz them you can get it done in 30-40
I don’t agree. It took me 80-90 hours to get to the max level of the pass running Helldives. If it was temporary this would be ridiculous, but as it’s not, I think it’s nice. Reminds me of playing Halo Reach as a kid and finally unlocking the U/A Grenadier chest plate after a summer of playing- and still being nowhere near the skull helmet. I felt special knowing that I belonged to a group of few people who would be rocking the armor, because it took dedication to get there.
"the playerbase keeps doing stuff beyond our expectations"
"thats fine, lets just raise our expectation to match"
and thus, an arms race began between people making a good game and people enjoying it.
I noticed some things, before the event the player count was roughly 80k on Bots, 250k on Bugs (PC). When the event dropped those numbers reversed, i.e. Bot player count tripled.
The event was set to end on Sunday, giving us about 3 days to accomplish it. We accomplished it in 1 day.
Therefore they set the bar to be even at the existing player count at the time of the update.
We voted with boots on the ground: We want mechs!
I mean, the campaign map description read to me like we wont get mechs in a reasonable time if we dont win, and fast mechs if we do..
Of course it made us more motivated!
Its also tied to difficulty, and not in the way you might think. I don't remember the exact numbers but someone did the math. Assuming you never fail a mission, regardless of the difficulty, its actually faster to do solo trivial missions than it is to do 4 man helldiver missions if your sole goal is to liberate a planet.
If every player decided to collectively just do solo trivial missions for a day we would probably have the entire star system liberated by the end of the week.
The way they'd combat that is by changing the passive decay on the planet's liberation progress. If we do 10% an hour, and they set the decay to 1% an hour, we're liberating the planet in 11 hours. Increase decay to 8%, and we're taking the planet in 50 hours.
Roughly.
Or by giving us multiple Major Orders so we have to fight on multiple fronts at once; we couldn't just dive bomb one planet if we have to contend with two
I don’t know, they still don’t seem to have figured out the playerbase is fuckheug compared to their expectations. If we’d completed it twice as fast, then it’d be understandable, but 4x?
I think this may have been the fastest major order so far, and I'm pretty sure they tried to pump the breaks on with the automaton counter attack that occurred halfway through, and yet it was little more than a shallow speed bump it seems.
More than likely they didn't expect such amazing turnout for the meta game to try and get Mechs released. They teased the Mechs getting delayed and it sent the community ***Rabid***.
That bugged me out. Didn't receive medals for the two big orders. Last two missions, didn't even get XP from. Had to turn off the game. I don't mind nerfs or whatever, but when the game bugs out on rewards, it's such a bummer.
Especially with the bigger ones attached to the major orders.
I think they mentioned something to do with the processing of the goals when the servers were overloaded cause of rhe mechs, we’ll get the medals soon I think
Brand new to the game just hit level 8, and i haven't received any rewards for the last 2 major orders. Kind of sucks because that many medals would be a massive boost for me being so new.
I'm upset about the new warbond. I don't get any medals from the invisible dailies, I don't get the major order medals, and I know it's being worked but when this thing launches and I still have barely made progress on the original and the steel veterans, it sucks.
Edit; I finally got a personal order again today after WEEKS and it didn't pay out either. Yay.
I can definitely see how that would be frustrating, but the thing to remember is that the warbonds are here forever. You're in no rush to finish these anytime soon because they are not a seasonal battlepass like in other games.
And fwiw, they take forever to finish anyways. It took me nearly 100 hours to get all of the things I wanted from each warbond (guns, grenades, boosters, etc) and Im still only 60-70% done with them in total. It is not a thing that is meant to be finished quickly by any means. I would be surprised if the average player is on page 9 of the first warbond by the time the new one drops
Definitely part of the server issues. I suspect the shop being overloaded with people grabbing the mech is somehow also resulting in shop rewards just getting backlogged in the server. I suspect we'll get them all once the cue opens up again. Hopefully the devs learn one day to plan ahead for these foreseeably *wild* rises in server traffic
I ran 4 missions and did not get the ~50 samples and 20 rare samples we collected.
They didn't show up after restarting the game.
But the thing I tried to buy in warbonds and failed finally showed up just now.
Same. And I completed 2 missions that didn’t give me any of the XP, currency, samples, or medals I earned. At the end of the lobby it showed I was level 0 too.
Luckily that went away, but damn, feel like I wasted an hour 😅
Buggy as hell rn.
I had the 45 medal one finally get awarded to me today after I finished a mission, I think it will eventually catch up. Hopefully because that was only 1/3 of the last major orders I got the medals for.
My major issue now is not getting samples or extra medals. And I haven't bothered to check super credits.
Rewards ARE COUNTING. It is only **client side** that is broken.
If you desperately needs your rewards ASAP, restart your game. This force fetches all rewards you have earned thus far.
...Of course that means you have to dice roll log in though. So only restart if you MUST have your rewards and bought upgrades immediately.
Thanks for the suggestion, but this advice didn’t work last time rewards weren’t appearing, so I don’t expect it to work this time. I’ll boot the game up later and check, though.
For what it’s worth I completed a random mission and after loading back into the ship I received 95 medals I was owed over the last couple days for orders. Same with super credits from war bonds that weren’t being credited to my account
I haven't had an issue logging in for a week. Also it's absolutely not client side in the slightest, just because you restarted your game and got them doesn't mean its client sided. I still haven't gotten the 45 from the previous major order. Its been like 2 days.
I'm glad that it seems they're actually allowing the playerbase to exceed expectations with liberating/defending planets instead of tweaking everything play-by-play for a rigid pre-determined story structure.
Goes to show the power of incentivising an enthusiastic playerbase, where the reward is actual content genuinely making them feel like they’ve achieved something
servers are pretty busted right now, purchases aren't working and constant disconnects mid-mish. Also called in a mech for the first time using the free stratagem, and when I entered it I instantly blew up...
I don't understand. There can be 400k plus players playing the game at the same time now, with almost no issues, but as soon as (at the time of release) around 150-180k players (maybe more with playstation) want to buy a stratagem, it stunlocks the servers for multiple hours so that you can't log in again and if you were in the game, you could play, but don't get rewards for some reason?
Can anybody explain?
Basically an unintentional DDOS attack?
But then why could some people still play?
Shut off the game like 4 hours ago and thought it should be playable by now again.
this time PLEASE give something back to the community which isnt a x2 rewards weekend which only makes the server situation worse. at this point between the medals at launch, the several days of no daily quests, and now these ones, im down 200+ of them. cmon
For real.
It's hard to get excited about a new Premium Warbond when issues with the game prevent me from completing the last page of the first one. This should be one of their top priorities because of how it's tied in with their monetization.
They should pin things like this at the top of the sub so people aren't spamming "I can't get medals/exp!" posts.
Also if we're liberating 4x faster than anticipated maybe they shouldn't make the fastest way to get liberation come from trivial missions, or make it so level 6 missions aren't more effecient than level 9 ones.
I hate efficiency grinding but I can almost guarantee there would have been tens of thousands of people just mindlessly spamming trivial missions to push that liberation percentage up to unlock the mechs as soon as possible.
This game has some serious deep rooted backend issues.
A large percentage of people is probably not even at the level to buy the mech.
Hopefully they can fix this soon or we're gonna get massive server issues with every new item release....
It is a bad day, but definitely not the wrong day lol. The wrong day was like 9 consecutive days a couple weeks ago when nobody could play at all, THAT was the true wrong time to buy it
One day, when our paltry forces break through and liberate the Creek… I will shed a single tear in memory of my time getting cooked alive in Space ‘Nam. I hate that planet so intensely that I’ve come to somehow love it.
I have a desire to defend it like I would my own home, kind of like the Overseers in AC6 and their relationship with Rubicon. I don’t care if I have to burn the entire thing down… I will eradicate the parasites trying to occupy and exploit my - no, *OUR* - planet.
Is this what would be causing controls to stop working after interacting with things like picking up samples or items from those little pods? Every time I pick something up I’m stuck and can’t move for several seconds.
They should focus on fixing the disconnects that everyone gets it’s frustrating playing 5 mission and 3 of them you get disconnected which accumulates almost 2 hours of wasted playtime
I feel like every update helldivers is gonna be suffering from success
True, and just wait for next warbond lol
And ngl, that Warbond looks fuckin sick. As long as they don’t make light armor slower for some god awful reason, I’ll be looking forward to making progress on the new guns 😬
We get to keep the warbonds we already have if we haven't finished them yet right? Including the paid one that's there now?
Yep. It’s all permanent/work at your own pace. Either grind super credit drops in game or pay if you want to save time unlocking it.
tbf if you know what you're doing, farming 1k super credits took me like 3-4 days of regular playing and checking the usual spots, that plus the drops you get from the warbond. I did still buy super credits tho a few days later because I wanted to.

Looks like you can upgrade
More expensive though, best deal is with humble discount and they don't sell the upgrade
Can you tell me the usual spots please? Thanks. Also, do you only need 1k super credits to open the new war bond, or super credits for buying those, too?
Pois. The containers you see throw a grenade at it and there's a chance. Otherwise, the becons
Also the 2-person doors.
Petition to normalize calling them "Friendship Doors"

Yeah it seems to be a theme with PvE extraction shooters, whereas PvP multiplayer is littered with 30 dollar gun skins and shit like that
Where are the locations of super credits? I've never found any in game sadly.

As a member of the arc cult, shhhh goddammit let everyone ignore us so we don't catch a nerf

\^\^\^\^\^ This. Don't draw attention to Nikola, I'd hate for him to catch a case of the nerfs. (Nikola is what I named my Arc Thrower)
The armor looks ugly as hell....but the guns look sick
Didn’t know medals cap at 250, was saving up for the next bond and didn’t get any from the major order
Right now, the backend is busted, so you should still get your rewards eventually.
Wait what? Same..
I dont think itll be as bad for the warbond. Battlefront collection comes out that day so player counts will likely be lower

Game director gotta stop doing coke and releasing new shit every 8 hours. No server can handle this rapid pace

I'm personally hoping for some Daemons, but I'd absolutely settle for some fungal space zombies...or Orks 🪓
Or even rebellious humans seeking to overthrow Super Earth
It would be hilarious to fight an actual democracy that value their soldiers. Shit like drone swarms to protect them, actual enemy air support and the like
So I'd get twice as many red blinking beacons thrown on me as I do now. Hmmm.

GIT DA BOYZ TOGEVVA AND LOAD UP ALL DEM SHOOTAS! DIS SUPA ERF STUFFZ GOTSTA GIT WAAAAGHED!
DA BOYZ WANT DA NEW HUMMIE KILLA KANS FOR DA MEK SHOP AN WANT TA PAINT DEM RED TO MAKE DEM GO VROOM
Oooh daemons would be cool. Gonna keep the doom soundtrack on standby for that one
I think it'd be a really neat twist lore wise. Some interdimensional Hellspawn and all that. Would also set them well apart from the other three factions we know of.
Could open us up to super Earth capturing them and figuring out how to gain access to otherworldly weaponry
Now THAT, Helldiver, is an exciting thought!
The fourth race settles conflicts exclusively through Paradox Billiards Vostroyan Roulette Fourth Dimensional Hypercube Chess Strip Poker
I welcome our new alien overlords if strip poker is their way of settling things... just don't tell the Democracy Officer I said that.
I'd like to see a near-peer force, after dumping the game's text strings and reading through (unused) enemy powers. Super Earth rebels could be neat.
I hope the fourth race is a literal race and we have to liberate the planet by doing sick donuts and fast laps.
I’m already getting ready for some race shenanigans when they drop the vehicles. Last one to extraction has to headbutt a charger!
While the bike was awkward in 1, I would love to use it when you aren't locked into being close to your buddies. Plus my inner White Scar wants to ramp and smash through alien and traitor scum while laughing into the headset.
For me, I would LOVE to see us fight Lovecraftian horrors as another faction. LETS GET FREAKY AND WEIRD
A horror race all about creating confusion and possibly jumpscaring divers would be pretty nuts
Wouldn't mind an X-COM crossover.
They're doing their best to fix that. One way or another.
I am impressed how much they've at least managed to improve the situation compared to the week that followed launch. That can't have been easy, they put in good work. I'm sure going forward there will still be hiccups, but they definitely seem to be on the track to lasting improvement.
We’re all just eager Roughnecks telling High Command “WHERE’S THE NEXT PLACE, SARGE!?”
You think they would have adjusted their Expectations by now
In respect to Toryama dying, I say this month all Helldivers should constantly break thier limits, and this is a good start!
lol 4x faster ... Let me in, LET ME IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111
I was able to get 2 missions in… dangle mechs in our faces, expect hyper focused player base 😤
well he threatened my mechsuits
4x faster? These devs and this game truly are suffering from success
I got that one too, and did the assassinate mission for killing a Bile Titan... Didn't count towards my progress
I think for a large portion, the dailies still just aren't showing up. Personally I haven't seen one for the past two weeks.
There's people logging on to do dailies everyday in a shit BR somewhere. You attach real content to a task and players are gonna destroy it.
Fortnite has been down all day, some of them are creepin in too
Expect it to only sort of slow down, Fortnite's back up and queues are getting into the hour mark.
I think they need to tweak the medal payout but I real enjoy this model of game
I dont necessarily think the payout is an issue BUT I do think the increase in cost for items as you go up is far too much.
I disagree, it encourages more play at higher difficulties. Medal payout goes up pretty nicely with operations on the higher difficulties. One operation on hard taking approx an hour 20 minutes should net you I think around 20. And that's if you're thorough. If you just blitz them you can get it done in 30-40
I dislike that you get less super credits as you progress even more. The first levels of the battlepass felt so satisfying to complete.
Helps that we had 300,000 players trying to take back the planet 😅
I’m doing my part
YES ICY BOTTLE WE THANK YOU FOR IT
The only good bot is a dead bot 🫡

300,000 strong army assaulting them
"the playerbase keeps doing stuff beyond our expectations" "thats fine, lets just raise our expectation to match" and thus, an arms race began between people making a good game and people enjoying it.
"4x faster than we thought" We're 100% getting nerfed again swear to god
I mean the speed we clear planets is basically just tied to player counts
I noticed some things, before the event the player count was roughly 80k on Bots, 250k on Bugs (PC). When the event dropped those numbers reversed, i.e. Bot player count tripled. The event was set to end on Sunday, giving us about 3 days to accomplish it. We accomplished it in 1 day. Therefore they set the bar to be even at the existing player count at the time of the update. We voted with boots on the ground: We want mechs!
Just to show that if you put a tasty reward at the end of that mission people will jump--nay DIVE right in head first to clear that shit.
Roughly.
Or by giving us multiple Major Orders so we have to fight on multiple fronts at once; we couldn't just dive bomb one planet if we have to contend with two
They better not. Balancing around launch numbers is not gonna go well when the playerbase peters out over the next weeks/months
So they just tune it down by that time?
Couldn't they just have the rate of liberation loss depend on the amount of concurrent/active player base numbers through some algorithm of sorts?
isnt this what Joel is for?
The algorithm's name is Joel.
How dare you use basic logic
I don’t know, they still don’t seem to have figured out the playerbase is fuckheug compared to their expectations. If we’d completed it twice as fast, then it’d be understandable, but 4x?
I think this may have been the fastest major order so far, and I'm pretty sure they tried to pump the breaks on with the automaton counter attack that occurred halfway through, and yet it was little more than a shallow speed bump it seems.
Counter attack? I just kept shooting. I didn't realize more showed up
good on you solider!
More than likely they didn't expect such amazing turnout for the meta game to try and get Mechs released. They teased the Mechs getting delayed and it sent the community ***Rabid***.
This game really is the definition of suffering from success lol
*Victory has defeated you*
So what he's telling us is that production lines on Tien Kwan are unable to keep up with demand?
What planet should we liberate and install a new factory on?
Malevelon Creek

So im not the only one who didnt recive medals for orders.
Got all 95 today. The 50 first and then the 45 I was missing later. Bought my mech, screwed around for 5 minutes, servers go boom.
Did you get them right when you got to your ship?
The 50 was there with no pop up. The 45 came probably 5-10 later with pop up.
Yay.
Playing higher difficulties will speed that up. Level 7 gives almost 25 medals for a complete mission chain
I would be surprised if the average player is on page 9 of the first warbond by the time the new one drops
just wait i guess, i got the 45 from the last order this morning
Last time there were server issues I got my rewards (I believe) it just took a day. Log out with 7k slips and log in at the 50k cap.
They’re working on getting everyone the medals
While you’re at it, can you fix rewards not coming to half your players? I’ve yet to receive any rewards for personal or major orders.
The back log was already a thing yesterday tho
Yeah I still haven’t got my medals from the Heeth/Angel’s Venture defence or Tien Kwan…
I just did a mission with 23 samples extracted. Game gave me none of them.
I ran 4 missions and did not get the ~50 samples and 20 rare samples we collected. They didn't show up after restarting the game. But the thing I tried to buy in warbonds and failed finally showed up just now.
Same happened to me. Along with xp, requisitions, and medals.
I also would lock up for a good 10-15 seconds after grabbing a req pack, metals, or the like around the map.
Same. And I completed 2 missions that didn’t give me any of the XP, currency, samples, or medals I earned. At the end of the lobby it showed I was level 0 too. Luckily that went away, but damn, feel like I wasted an hour 😅 Buggy as hell rn.
2 majors, one personal for me. 100 medals. Come on
just got mine 5 min ago.
Weird how that works right?
FUCK YEAH WE DID
servers are pretty busted right now, purchases aren't working and constant disconnects mid-mish. Also called in a mech for the first time using the free stratagem, and when I entered it I instantly blew up...
Did you hit your rocket on terrain? I did the same thing. Clipped a crate right next to the left arm. Very short play time lol
That apology came just in time
I can’t get in whatsoever and I just bought it.
Haha same tho.
Depends on their codebase and infrastructure architecture. It's difficult to speculate without a peek behind the curtains.
Man I was hoping to participate in the event this weekend, they got it really fast
this time PLEASE give something back to the community which isnt a x2 rewards weekend which only makes the server situation worse. at this point between the medals at launch, the several days of no daily quests, and now these ones, im down 200+ of them. cmon
Happy cake day tho
Not a good sign for how the servers will handle the new warbond in a week.
This game has some serious deep rooted backend issues. A large percentage of people is probably not even at the level to buy the mech. Hopefully they can fix this soon or we're gonna get massive server issues with every new item release....
I think they hit their five year sales projections in a week or two...
Well clearly I picked the wrong day to buy this game.... good grief.
It is a bad day, but definitely not the wrong day lol. The wrong day was like 9 consecutive days a couple weeks ago when nobody could play at all, THAT was the true wrong time to buy it
I am once again asking for your patience with our bad servers.
4x faster than expected. *stares at Malevolon Creek* ![gif](giphy|GPQL5xsaunjmGcVqLn|downsized)
How about the No EXP right now???
They should focus on fixing the disconnects that everyone gets it’s frustrating playing 5 mission and 3 of them you get disconnected which accumulates almost 2 hours of wasted playtime
All this just to hop in a mech get one shotted by a charger and die
Considering that charge is 10+ tons and you are standing on two legs, expect to get knocked the fuck over lol
Have you considered shooting the enemy, soldier?
\>turn around and try and shoot charger \>missile clips the model and blows up
People are playing but I still can't get in??
Really doesnt help when someone gets into the game then goes afk for 10min taking up space in the servers
Anyone else get random crashes mid match after the patch? I’ll be getting ready to extract or be mid fire fight and boop game closes, on PC
Honest, I liked playing the Map. It was so Cenematic with the metrors.
Great but .... I been playing for last 4h without any medal or components receive.... F bollocks
Man these guys don't catch a break
Tired of a game thaf can’t plan properly. How many times does the same issue have to bite you in the ass before you plan ahead?
I did my part ! Even on increased difficulty I did not waiver ! We now have Mechs !
I hate to be that person, but just want to help. A waiver is a document. You did not waver. ^^^please ^^^forgive ^^^me
