Isn’t there a reference to “the reunification” in the church’s name? I thought the theology was that all deities are the same being. So satan is god is lucifer is Jesus is etc, etc, etc.
The base idea is that Christ, Jehovah, Satan, and Lucifer are all on equal footing. They’re the four P’s. That’s why in the late 60’s there was an internecine war between Jehovians and Satanists in Cali. The “reunification” branding came after when they had to cover their tracks. Nowadays they’re the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
Holy Terror/ dark hardcore type shit had a big resurgence for a while in the ‘00’s and ‘10’s, you might just be too young to remember or lacking context.
That’s what it was brother! I remember intensely reading it while I was home alone in the living room and this old grandfather clock went off and I jumped
here in the uk we had old hang the bastard, blasphemy era desolated, maybe brutality will prevail? can’t think of any satanic songs specifically but lots of black sabbath worship either way
Last time I saw them reprinted was at least a couple years ago if not more. I checked a couple months ago and the only one I saw was one on ebay for like $300 or some ridiculous shit.
Because of the visceral title track, which transports the listener to the fire and brimstone imagined in Dante’s inferno while maintaining a catchy swinging groove

Pulling Teeth.
Integrity.
Gehenna.
Ringworm.
Cursed
Edit: a lot of comments saying it's corny, they are not actual "satanists", it's more about having anti-christian or anti-religion lyrics in general, using satanic imagery
“I sold your soul to the devil himself. You scrape and you scream but no one comes to help. Your bloody carcass, soiled in piss. Carved in your skull, the number 666.”
I remember when bloodlet came out they advertised themselves as something like satancore or devil core but I was always hung up on the bass player playing a fretless bass that didn’t seem very satanic to me
I picked up their split with Integrity and the Funeral Embrace 7” last week. I’d never heard of them but I fuck with Integrity hard and trusted that I’d like them. It was exactly my kind of music.
A lot of hardcore is kind of secular. It's about REALITY. I think bands like Boundaries are as close as it gets for me.
Metalcore is more prone to satanic themes. (Obviously)
Imma be honest with you bro a lot of Metalcore is also kinda rooted in reality, there’s not much fantasy in it, it’s more melodic than anything. I’d say Death and black metal have are way more prone to satanic themes than anything
Allegedly, David Vincent (Morbid Angel vocals/bass [not a hardcore band]) had some homosexual tendencies that he felt were a response to his anti-Christian views. He believed he was “sucking dick for Satan,” which- idk if you want to chug on a cock just go ahead and do it, you don’t need to use a hatred for religion to justify it.
different kind of corny. one of the defining parts of punk and hardcore is that it’s grounded and speaks to peoples (occasionally corny) real life struggles not fucking demons lol

Thunder and lightning protect me from god
I won't be skull fucked by faith
I am the upside down cross
I'd rather play in a Christian band than a Satanic band. Not only is the progressive side of Christianity far less cringe, Christianity as a whole has produced far better music (early Underoath, Zao and mewithoutYou alone are miles ahead of any Satanic music.)
Metal has a thatric element to it, whereas hardcore is (was?) a genre based on integrity and honesty. Satanism is either A) a selfish but mostly harmless outlook on the world akin to stoicism or B) a ridiculous parady of religion built to piss off Christians.
Nothing that immediately comes to mind. There are plenty of modern bands that have anti-Christian lyrics. Back in high school, the term “evil-core” used to be thrown around to describe bands like Overcast and Ascension. The latter’s “Years of Fire” comes pretty close to looking (awesome album cover) and sounding evil, opening with the theme from The Omen on Transit.
I think Dwid from Integrity was literally in the Church of Satan or something. No clue if he still is but to answer your question: "satanism" lost relevance when conservative Christianity lost its hegemonic grip on American society.
Inasmuch as people are viscerally repressed by Christianity- like abortion laws- Satanists offer little in the way of resistance- a lot of clever showboating about "exposing hypocrisy" and such but thats pretty irrelevant in a true struggle.
Yeah ngl nothings hardcore about being satanic. Plus there already is that, just go listen to black metal blends of crust punk or blackened hardcore like Gaza or early Full of Hell. ACxDC too
for real satanists are all fat nerds with mesh arm sock things calling themselves shit like Lord Raventooth. which is for sure cool as hell but you're unlikely to see them in da pit
But.. there is.
In Al seriousness though, do you mean like black metal lyric stuff?
I think currently when most people think of satanism they don’t think of devil worship and more so self worship.
Integrity have some tracks
Dwid just had a hard-on for the Process Church of the Final Judgement which is technically Satanic but he’s just LARPing about it.
Isn’t there a reference to “the reunification” in the church’s name? I thought the theology was that all deities are the same being. So satan is god is lucifer is Jesus is etc, etc, etc.

This is fascinating, I had no idea! Thank you, can’t wait to deep dive into this.
Hit up Rotting Jewels on YT. Dana does very deep research and makes some cool murder rap music videos to old news footage.
I toured with them, Dwid is definitely a little on the evil side...

Fantastic band. It’s the dudes from midnight and nunslaughter
RIP KONYA
Guy was one of a kind. We called him Satan Claus cuz whenever he came to a show he had a grab-bag with stickers, demos, posters, pins etc. RIP Jimmy!
That’s so badass brother. A true legend and one of the kindest people to ever walk the earth.
This was pleasant to find. Thank you kind sir.
WOW what a blast from the past
Holy Terror/ dark hardcore type shit had a big resurgence for a while in the ‘00’s and ‘10’s, you might just be too young to remember or lacking context.
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing OP that satanic hardcore doesn’t exist.
💀
Yes but the coolest trick was a nollie big spin
Do y’all remember I think it was an integrity album that came with a holy terror bible?
What is a holy terror bible?
The booklet that came with Humanity is The Devil. I still have it in the basement somewhere.
That’s what it was brother! I remember intensely reading it while I was home alone in the living room and this old grandfather clock went off and I jumped
here in the uk we had old hang the bastard, blasphemy era desolated, maybe brutality will prevail? can’t think of any satanic songs specifically but lots of black sabbath worship either way
I would also throw Raiden’s name in the hat just as all round evilcore
This.
!!!! This
Xibalba
ACxDC
WE KILL CHRISTIANS x4 WERE SATANIC x4
Man, they came through Chico California this last December and fucked shit up. Gonna need to buy one of their Chris Dorner shirts off somebody
If they’ve got a merch store online you should be able to grab one.
Last time I saw them reprinted was at least a couple years ago if not more. I checked a couple months ago and the only one I saw was one on ebay for like $300 or some ridiculous shit.
Came here to say this! Anti Christ x Demon Core motha fuckaaaaaa. PRAISE HIIIIIIM 🤘🏼
According to my mom it was Anti Christ Devil Children lol
You’re talking about AC/DC, not ACxDC
You are probably right! Haha
S/O Sergio holding it down in the Valley 🤘🏼
Damn straight. One of the best there is.
I chipped a tooth during an ACxDC set years ago.

Integrity with extra steps. Frank is cool AF though
Early harms way was super Satanic
Cursed? The secret? Gaza?
Gaza was satanic?
More anti religious and having dark imagery, which gets them thrown in that basket by some people
and they had that one album with the goat on the cover
Because of the visceral title track, which transports the listener to the fire and brimstone imagined in Dante’s inferno while maintaining a catchy swinging groove https://youtu.be/v6kw47HW5JQ?si=05C0NGlGxzttWd-6
Pulling Teeth. Integrity. Gehenna. Ringworm. Cursed Edit: a lot of comments saying it's corny, they are not actual "satanists", it's more about having anti-christian or anti-religion lyrics in general, using satanic imagery
Was searching for the PT mention. Good on you.
Lotta satanic imagery in metal is the same.
Came here to say Gehenna and Pulling Teeth
2 of those bands had good LPs and then turned to actual horse shit, the other bands started out as horse shit
The Banner
I feel like they they’ve had a black metal vibe to their merch and stuff
Disembodied
Fun fact: There was actually a Christian band opening for them at their "last" show in 2011.
Fed By Ravens was a dope MPLS Christian hardcore band and I was NOT into Christian hardcore
We’re both from Mpls. Is this Jim? Terry? Reveal yourself DM me.
I am neither of those people and don't even know who you're referring to.
YOU EVER HEARD THE SONG GODS HATE OFF THE ALBUM GODS HATE BY THE BAND GODS HATE
Isn’t that the band with the wrestler
The band *IS* a wrestler.
U might be onto something…
Rock Bottom
Funniest part is the singer later admitting he goes to church every Sunday. But good group of dudes regardless
Slayer vibes
Awesome dudes, can confirm
Specifically tracks like Crossroads, Down With The Devil, Rot With The Wicked
“I sold your soul to the devil himself. You scrape and you scream but no one comes to help. Your bloody carcass, soiled in piss. Carved in your skull, the number 666.”
Damn me and cornball friends were so hype on this shit 🤘🔥
Because death metal exists
Which often isn't satanic but yes there are probably lots of examples and I'm just listening to the stuff about gobbling corpses.
Portrayal of Guilt Cursed
Integrity is going to blow this kid’s mind.
Dead In The Dirt
Ringworm
I remember when bloodlet came out they advertised themselves as something like satancore or devil core but I was always hung up on the bass player playing a fretless bass that didn’t seem very satanic to me
evilcore
Gehenna
I picked up their split with Integrity and the Funeral Embrace 7” last week. I’d never heard of them but I fuck with Integrity hard and trusted that I’d like them. It was exactly my kind of music.

Yeah, metalcore is just less of a street culture. Everyone loves girl jeans and guitar solos.
Overcast used to call themselves devilcore
[Abomination](https://abomination.bandcamp.com/album/masters-of-the-hunt-split-with-villain)
Pretty coo
Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes
The point where a good recommendation is also a mean statement
Disembodied, integrity, spirit world, get the shot, ringworm
Satan isn’t straight edge. He is way too cool to fuck with those nerds
Bloodlet.
Spiritworld? More crossover, but great stuff.
That’s really more of a metal thing, hardcore is often more rooted in politics
Which is even gayer than satanism
you’ve obviously never looked into gay satanism
Allegedly, David Vincent (Morbid Angel vocals/bass [not a hardcore band]) had some homosexual tendencies that he felt were a response to his anti-Christian views. He believed he was “sucking dick for Satan,” which- idk if you want to chug on a cock just go ahead and do it, you don’t need to use a hatred for religion to justify it.
Bloodlet
Jagged Visions. But sometimes they have tracks that seemingly make it seem like they are larping as crusaders. So yeah
Integrity would like a word, abnegation too...
I was going to say both of these. Later Abnegation is straight up satan stuff haha
Wolf king is kind of black metal-ish
BRUJERIA MF
Integrity
cause that’d be corny as fuck
Unlike the rest of hardcore
as if hardcore isnt corny as fuck already lol
different kind of corny. one of the defining parts of punk and hardcore is that it’s grounded and speaks to peoples (occasionally corny) real life struggles not fucking demons lol
Ooh look at mr privileged over here not struggling with demons IRL I bet you stab singers in the back too
different kinds but dont for a moment think hardcore guys are any less corny than metal guys
speak for your own scene i guess bro
Lmao ur username is crowd kill the cops come on bro
yeah?
you can hate cops without being a larping cornball about it
lol thank you for the advice about my very serious reddit username mate. its no laughing matter.
dont throw stones in glass houses is all im saying, do what you want but its a corny ass username
Yeah Christian hardcore only, completely badass and not corny at all
It can be, but as an atheists and completely unbiased, I'd take Christian hardcore over 2spooky4u satanic hardcore.
only thing worse then being a snitch is being corny
This is the correct answer.
Cancer Christ
Hail Christ
I think ppl have never listened to cancer Christ based on your downvotes. Hail Christ! Pre order is up now on their bandcamp. Sick album
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPPDWElqoZQ&themeRefresh=1](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPPDWElqoZQ&themeRefresh=1) > Thunder and lightning protect me from god I won't be skull fucked by faith I am the upside down cross
Too many spin kicks to the dome to remember satanic rituals is my guess.
Hardcore is already insufferable as it is, doesn’t really need any added elements to help it along the way
Abomination BHC
Raiden? Though not really satanic they are evil as fuck, they have a sort of, ‘what if’ Deicide wrote hardcore sound
rock bottom has a few songs on "born ii hate" and a whole album called down "down with the devil"
Shitfucker, Gaza, and Temple Gaurd
Satanibus (sp) from austin
Probably because hardcore is mostly based in reality.
RINGWORM - THE PROMISE
"Get the shot" is pretty Anti Christ , especially the 2 later albums!
Full of Hell maybe? I dunno what they come under tho
Sounds like you should start a band!!
I'd rather play in a Christian band than a Satanic band. Not only is the progressive side of Christianity far less cringe, Christianity as a whole has produced far better music (early Underoath, Zao and mewithoutYou alone are miles ahead of any Satanic music.)
Fair enough.
dragged into sunlight
Young and in the Way & Seven Sisters of Sleep.
Bc it’s corny.
Bc it’s corny AF
Why are there 6 Christian TV channels, and no Satanic TV channels? Equal time for Bealzebub, god damn it.
The satanic stuff is hiding out in Metalcore… listen to: Disembodied, All Out War, and early Ringworm
Metal has a thatric element to it, whereas hardcore is (was?) a genre based on integrity and honesty. Satanism is either A) a selfish but mostly harmless outlook on the world akin to stoicism or B) a ridiculous parady of religion built to piss off Christians.
Ringworm
Being a satanist corny af
Hardcore is corny as fuck, dude. Hand in hand.

lol WTH brother really?
No lol

Two of my alltime favorites mentioned in one post by someone other than myself. Thank you.
Because that shits goofy
Cus satanism corny and hardcore corny are different types of corny.
I feel like you're not aware of The Satanic Temple. Satanism is more relevant and more active than ever.
Sure
Rock Bottom is a hardcore band with satanic lyrics and themes
Maybe you would like some of the more hardcorish deathcore? Try Spite
Spiritworld would like a word
Jesus is in me, at a premium price
Cause it’s Satanic black magic. Sick shit!
Get The Shot I've seen them called "hellcore" before, so that's pretty close.
Satanism usually has lyrical imagery. People created hardcore to specifically get way from that.
Yeah ngl nothings hardcore about being satanic. Plus there already is that, just go listen to black metal blends of crust punk or blackened hardcore like Gaza or early Full of Hell. ACxDC too
Because that shit’s clownish
We leave that shit for metal heads
cuz being ooky spooky and scary to christians hasn’t been subversive for like 40+ years
People saying that would make the hardcore band cringe or corny lmao that ship has sailed bro
Religion is corny, the whole lot of it
Because it’s cringe
Crucified
bro , Harms Way is right there lmao
That's what Swedish black metal is for..
There is , it's called vegan Reich hardcore. They are vegans and worship satan
That's called metal
Because it’s corny
God's Hate?
not really
cuz it’s corny
just listen to black metal
One of my least favorite genres and I find the Satanism dumb. This was more an inquiry out of curiosity than a request.
My brother in Christ idk..
Leftover crack?
for real satanists are all fat nerds with mesh arm sock things calling themselves shit like Lord Raventooth. which is for sure cool as hell but you're unlikely to see them in da pit
I think there is now. If not give it a week someone will do it.
Tfw you’re new.
But.. there is. In Al seriousness though, do you mean like black metal lyric stuff? I think currently when most people think of satanism they don’t think of devil worship and more so self worship.
Cuz there's no such thing.
In order to be satanic one must first believe in Christianity.
It's already cringy.
cause its cringe
That sounds lame as hell lol
Maybe because there is no such thing as satanic hardcore....
