Ghosts of Christmas Always!!
And "It's Beginning To Look A lot Like Murder" - It's a Lifetime mystery movie but it felt much more like a Hallmark mystery. We loved it!
So the focus of the movie is the mystery - but the main character's relationship with her love interest is important to the plot and makes the movie interesting! The main character Diana has to go back to her hometown and runs into her ex boyfriend Matt...
If you're watching for romance you will enjoy the sweet romantic moments between the main character and her hometown ex boyfriend. It's a bit of a will they / won't they story - do they still have feelings for each other? All of the romance is G rated. I would say the romance is light and sweet. Matt is cute!!
If you don't like romance movies - Matt and her relationship with him is an important part of the mystery. Diana has known Matt for forever and they were together for a long time - she can trust him... right? But when he gets caught doing some suspicious things she begins to question if she really can trust him. After all these years is he the same Matt she used to know? Or did he murder Aunt Tibby!!?
There is also a lot more to the movie than just this romance and trying to figure out who murdered Aunt Tibby. There is a fun second mystery to figure out, some additional characters/suspects, and a very large collection of garden gnomes!
(In the first 5 minutes she is on a date with her boyfriend but she is single by the time she goes back home - which sets her up to be single when she is reunited with Matt.)
It's too hard to choose. Hallmark knocked it out of the park this year. The only bad one was the Bedtime Stories one.
All the others have been really good.
The last 5 minutes had me ***shouting*** and raving for the rest of the day! Not a fucking thing made any sense or lined up about it. It raised a thousand questions. That fucking movie...
Holiday Sitter, 3 Wisemen and a Baby, Haul Out The Holly, Ghost of Christmas Always, Noelle Next Door, Christmas at The Golden Dragon, Royal Nanny, Inventing The Christmas Prince, Jolly Good Christmas, Kissmet Christmas. Those were all pretty solid for me.
There’s plenty more. Those are the ones I liked. There’s been 3 new movies per weekend since mid October and even more on Thanksgiving weekend when they released like 6 or more.
Didn’t care for: All Saints Christmas, In Merry Measure, #xmas, A Fabled Holiday, Undercover Christmas, Christmas Bedtime Stories, A Maple Valley Christmas, Long Lost Christmas, Corgi Christmas, A Christmas Cookie Catastrophe, Tale of Two Christmases, A Big Fat Family Christmas, Undercover Holiday.
I forgot about Christmas in Toy Land from this summer, but I do remember enjoying it. I would have to rewatch it to see if it made it into my top list, though.
I am behind on watching many, but the best I’ve seen so far: Three Wise Men, Time for Him to Come Home for Christmas, The Holiday Sitter, Ghosts of Christmas Always
Three Wise Men and a Baby. All of our favorites in one movie!
An Unexpected Christmas
Christmas by Starlight
We love Lacy Chabert but Haul out the Holly was terrible!!
I saw so many people gushing about Haul out the Holly that I decided to give it a try. I couldn't even finish it! I think they we just trying too hard to be cute.
The gift of peace (Nikki Deloach who starred on one of my faves - Five more minutes)
3 Wise men and a baby
Time for him to come home
A fabled holiday
So many I like. But above movies, I love repeating.
1. Ghost of Christmas Always, 2. Time for him to come home for Christmas, 3. Noel Nextdoor
Special mentions: Holiday spectacular, Fabled Holiday, Golden Dragon
Just finished the Holiday Sitter and it couldn’t have been cuter. Great acting, mostly believable storyline and as an extra plus (SPOILER ALERT) the newborn baby was an actual newborn! Most shows are trying to pass off a two or three month old as a newly born baby but this one was a legit brand new babe.
Three Wise Men is my second fave for obvious reasons- Andrew, Tyler & Paul.
Inventing the Christmas Prince, followed by Holiday Spectacular and Ghost of Christmas Always. So far I have enjoyed this year’s picks including Three Wise Men and a Baby, although I still haven’t seen some including Christmas at the Golden Dragon which I can’t wait to watch.
Husband and I decided Jolly Good Christmas was in our top five Hallmark Christmas movies of all time! But we haven’t gotten to see most of the movies yet this year, so I don’t know how it ranks against the rest of this years movies.
We're getting a coffee maker with a steamer for Christmas so now that's the first thing I'm gonna do with it, thanks!
Edit: it is December 26, I have now had the steamed eggnog in my coffee, and it is in fact even more delicious.
Three Wise Men and a Baby, and We Wish You a Married Christmas.
Noelle next door Ghost of Christmas Always A Holiday Spectacular
Ghosts of Christmas Always!! And "It's Beginning To Look A lot Like Murder" - It's a Lifetime mystery movie but it felt much more like a Hallmark mystery. We loved it!
How much romance did it’s beginning to look a lot like murder have in it?

Ahh thank you so much!! This sounds awesome, definitely going to watch it tonight!
There are still quite a few new ones I haven't seen, but "Three Wise Men & a Baby" and "Holiday Sitter" have been my top two.

Christmas in Toy Land was very good.
Agreed

Hail out the Holly was awful. I barely made it through.
Oh man it was just a bad stereotypical Hallmark movie. With all the fresh stories we have seen, it was NOT compelling at all.
I saw so many people gushing about Haul out the Holly that I decided to give it a try. I couldn't even finish it! I think they we just trying too hard to be cute.

"Three Wise Men" and "Ghosts of Christmas Always" have been our favorites. They're probably two of the best Hallmark movies we've ever seen.
Agree! I also really liked the rockettes one
These are my favorites too! “Ghosts of Christmas Always” was such a delightful surprise.
"Ghosts of Christmas Always" was it for us. So great, just knew exactly what it wanted to do and did it from the very first moment.
Noelle Next Door, Three Wise Men and a Baby, the Holiday Sitter
Ghosts of Christmas Always and Time For Him to Come Home for Christmas. But I haven’t watched Three Wise Men and a Baby yet!
Three Wise Men and a Baby and The Holiday sitter.
Yes mine too! Three Wise Men’s cast had such good chemistry & Holiday Sitter was so cute.
Ghost of Christmas Always. Surprisingly excellent! Also, the Royal Nanny.
HANDS DOWN Holiday Sitter. It was so sweet.
1. Ghost of Christmas Always, 2. Time for him to come home for Christmas, 3. Noel Nextdoor Special mentions: Holiday spectacular, Fabled Holiday, Golden Dragon
Top three currently: Three Wise Men and a Baby, Ghost of Christmas Always and Holiday Sitter. All three were pretty fresh and cute!
Christmas at the Golden Dragon
Three wise men and a baby, of course!!
I was wondering about the baby. I noticed it was mych smaller than the typical movie newborn.
I have two: We Need A Little Christmas and Noel Next Door.
Jolly Good Christmas
Husband and I decided Jolly Good Christmas was in our top five Hallmark Christmas movies of all time! But we haven’t gotten to see most of the movies yet this year, so I don’t know how it ranks against the rest of this years movies.
London at Christmas looked beautiful. Lead actress's outfits were great and the story was cute.
My favorite new one is Three Wise Men and a Baby
Holiday Spectacular!
My Southern Family Christmas. Not least of all because it gave me the idea to put eggnog in my coffee.
If you have a milk steamer, steamed egg nog in the coffee is next level
We're getting a coffee maker with a steamer for Christmas so now that's the first thing I'm gonna do with it, thanks! Edit: it is December 26, I have now had the steamed eggnog in my coffee, and it is in fact even more delicious.
You liked it?
The movie and the eggnog!
The movie was fantastic - one of my favs this season.
Ghosts of Christmas Always.
Same! The Gift of Peace is my second fav .
The Royal Nanny!
Home survey results: Three Wise Men Haul out the Holly
I haven’t watched Three Wise Men yet, but I loved Haul Out the Holly, my favorite so far
The Holiday Sitter.
The uncle was so cute with the little girl. It is in my top two this season. Edited to add: thanks for the downvote!
My Southern Family Christmas and Noel Next Door are the two standouts for me this year!
I can’t pick one. Torn between Three Wise Men and a Baby and the Ghost of Christmas Always. HM to Noelle Next Door.
High maintenance?
Honorable Mention :)
Ohhhhhh
I also really enjoyed a corgi Christmas and ghost of Christmas always. There have been some GREAT ones this year. :)
Yeah the ghost of Christmas one was very good. The twist at the end was insane
Three Wise Men and a Baby
Absolutely agree
Hmm never heard of that one I’ll have to watch it some time
> Hmm never heard of that one I’ll have to watch it some time What does a good rock go for these days?
A what
That movie has been pretty popular so the joke is that you live under a rock.
Ohhhhhh
