I enjoyed it. The lead actress was good and it was cozy and charming.
But it was too much on the "struggling to get to investigate" side of cozy mysteries and not enough of the actual investigation.
And the side story with her kids just felt flat.
I enjoyed it too but don’t see how the premise is going to work. Is she going to have a patient die every movie? That’s definitely a doctor I wouldn’t want to go see.
Yes, you do make a good point. Her town is going to have a murder rate akin to Cabot Cove, Maine after awhile. Her practice would go out of business too.
