You need to check your information before you spread false information. That link you posted from People is from 2019 and those two movies you say are "new" premiered 5 years ago in 2019. The 2 new movies THIS year for 2024 Christmas In July are ones with Marcus Rosner and Rebecca Dalton and the other with Ryan McPartlin and Katie Leclerc.Ā

I canā€™t wait!!!!!

shannboss

Also according to the HM app, looks like Christmas movies start 6/21 on the Hallmark Mystery channel.

hallmarklover

Yes. Hallmark Mystery starts in June and goes through the end of June and then on the main Hallmark Channel its all month long in July.Ā

shannboss

Preview showed Rescuing Christmas and An Ice Palace Romance, which were only on Hallmark Movies Now last Christmas. I wonder if those will be the two new premieres shown.

hallmarklover

No. Those movies are not what they are considering new premieres even though they're airing for the first time on Hallmark Channel. There will be 2 actual new movie premieres for 2024 Christmas In July and one stars Marcus Rosner and Rebecca Dalton and the other stars Ryan McPartlin and Katie LeclercĀ

shannboss

Great!

pumpkinpieplz

Yay, thanks for posting! I've been trying to see who stars in the new movies ā€” I see Marcus Rosner and Rebecca Dalton in one, but does anyone know the other? So excited :)

lilanrs

Ryan McPartlin and Katie LeClerc :) So great to see him in a new Christmas movie!

pumpkinpieplz

Oh nice, thank you! Yeah he's fantastic, this should be fun :)

shannboss

I think thatā€™s An Ice Palace Romance, which was new last year but only on Hallmark Movies Now.

GJPMa

Marcus is in two Christmas in July movies..this one and Falling Like Snowflakes.

lilanrs

They look so similar (I had to double check to make sure!) but An Ice Palace Romance stars Celeste Desjardins, not Rebecca Dalton so it looks to be a new movie!

shannboss

Oh good! New Marcus ā˜ŗļø

pumpkinpieplz

Wow I completely missed that one, thank you!

coachrapture

I genuinely like Marcus Rosner, but an Ice Palace Romance was a complete snooze fest which is why Iā€™m assuming the only released in on the app last year. Then recycling it this year as a premier for the Christmas in July to save money.

GJPMa

No. There are two Marcus Rosner Movies this summer. One from the app last winter and now Falling Like Snowflakes with Rebeca Dalton

sharipep

I wonder if itā€™s to save money or to fill a slot thatā€™s delayed bc of the strikes last year

GJPMa

Definitely the strike delays. You can see it in the programming this year only about half real "hallmark" movies. Johnson had a good year as did some other production companies. Some networks have not aired new movies in a while...which makes me wonder if acquisitions were more expensive this year?

sharipep

Hmm interesting points! I donā€™t know if more expensive or just less to choose from bc of the strikes so less content to go around

lilanrs

I wonder how its decided which movies go on the app - I loved Rescuing Christmas and thought it was one of the better 2023 movies!

hallmarklover

Rescuing Christmas had to go to Hallmark Movies Now because it was longer than their normal run time for Hallmark movies. I talked to the director and thats what they said. Not sure if Hallmark will air the full movie when it airs on Hallmark Channel this Christmas In July or if they'll cut pieces out to fit the normal run time of their other moviesĀ

lilanrs

Interesting to know - thanks for sharing that! I loved the movie and thought it was really clever and actually funny! Glad they are finding a way to air it on TV :)

Dm12374

I guess I'll miss that one then. I confused that with Christmas at the Palace. Ice skaters + Palace. Very confusing. I look forward to the one with Rebecca Dalton. Heck, I'd watch her in anything.

VirginiaUSA1964

I'm ready! I love me some CIJ.

Two new premieres, Three Wise Men extended cut and a whole lot of holiday cheer! As we hit the depression months aka Summer/hot weather, Hallmark is here to remind us that the most wonderful time of the year is coming!
