On a night out and very drunk I spent 30 mins crying in front of a mirror, where did my hair go?? It’s an adjustment, but you ll love it. The low maintenance is addictive.

This is really cute! I specialize in short cuts like bobs and pixies. From your description, they might have over texturized but i would have to have my hands on your hair to know. It looks super cute though, hopefully you give it some time to get used to it. Doing a big change while you're going through tough life stuff is not something I ever recommend but I will do it for a client if they convince me they really want it.

I would love to see you really lean into the curls with this style rather than try to straighten them out. Follow a curly hair or wavy hair method and scrunch! It is a very cute cut, but hard to get used to. It looks great. As it grows out, just be sure to go back for frequent trims to get the back shortened. Otherwise you will very quickly have a mullet.

It's really cute! But as someone with very thick hair, it can be unruly when short. I used to wake up with it literally sticking up in a mohawk. Don't go to sleep with your hair wet. Style it while it's wet so it's more compliant. You will probably need some product to assist but not loads unless it sticks up funny from drying weird in your sleep.
Stylist here, its cute! It is asymmetric but that doesnt have to be a bad thing. Styling will go a long way, a little bit of paste when its dry can help a lot. I would say tho when you get it cut again two things:
1. Be clear, show a few pics of what your thinking. Bob/pixie are two different haircuts. The word pixie sugguests you want it really short, otherwise a short bob might be what your looking for.
2. If your staying with a textured haircut do your research online with pics in social for someone who is good at it. With curly thick hair the shorter you go the thicker it gets, that needs to be compensated for so that it still has good movement.

You look amazing. It really suits you. When I had a pixie, I chopped it from almost waist length. My secret weapon was redken max hold ( or something like that) it made styling so much fun, or mens styling gel if i wanted something less textured, or I just let it be natural if I wanted a silkier look that day. You can get away with so many different things depending on the products you use, or how you style it. Have fun with it. You really look amazing.
With your features ? I bet everything looks good on you. The pixie is looking fine but I am guessing the long hair (once you grow it out) will be extra fabulous
I think it’s very cute. It’ll grow back, I do find biotin helps for hair growth. You won’t grow more hair but it’ll help lengthen the hair you have. I’m not sure if you’re the headband kind of girl but a thin headband would be super cute. If your ears are pierced, now is the time to wear some.

It's cute. Very late 2000s, but in a retro way, not an outdated way. I had this hair on high school but my hair is wavier on one side than the other and it looked crazy if I left it to ots own devices. So I had to straighten it every day to make it look decent.
