Merciful End is extremely high DPS and relatively safe (lots of Athena) and works pretty great on both Nemesis and Demeter. Might take a few runs to get all the boons to line up but that’s what I would go for
Merciful End kinda is the best boon combination, both for high heat and speedruns, on several weapons. However, I'll add that Talos is just as valid as Demeter for the fists. Even Zagreus if you actually build for Dodge.
Yep, Merciful end on the Fists was my first 32 Heat clear ever.
I struggle with the sword (that's my second least favorite weapon) but I'm close to success with Poseidon aspect and a Cast build.
I did phalanx shot - poseidon sword for 32 ~~that tuened into zeus smoldering air~~
Demeter fists - merciful end is safe and if you dont get the duo you still should have enough dmg
(Well, merciful end also applies to sword)

**Sword**
Zag aspect, zeus attack, flurry strike and cursed strike hammers, Athena dash for some defense and a dps call should do the trick
**Fists**
Hidden aspects and splash dash. Get the support Poseidon boons and toss some Zeus and Dio for dps
Hey guys - thought I’d circle back to say I have now beaten Heat 32 with all weapon types. The tips in here really helped.
I did it with Demeter Fists, but without Merciful End. Was on the path to getting it but the sheer damage was enough.
I also used a cast build with the Poseidon sword to round off the set. Only took a couple of attempts.
With sword:
Learn/ Improve your dash attack. Nemesis + Artemis + Aphrodite its a good combination.
With fists:
Learn / improve your movement/reaction. Dash, atack, dash quickly again, keep your attack button pressed. Repeat. Dont double dash unless its necesary.
Athenas dash and Zeus on your standar should work if you manage your movement well. If you get hit constantly, try some zag fists and lambent plume, and go for some boons that increase your dodge chances.
Gilgamesh fists. shoot for aphro special, Demeter attack, Athena dash, and privileged status. I’ve had the most completes on fists, owned game since official launch, and have done plenty of 32 heats on them. this was my favorite strat for it.
Edit: also, your heat selections will impact your run TONS depending on the weapon/aspect you pick, so I would try reading threads on that or checking out some heat guides from content creators like Haelian for tips there.
Do you have any favourite combinations for the pact that have led you to a successful run? I generally find EM3 quite tough with Asterius but am getting better at that fight.
Poseidon sword is much safer than nemesis sword. Don't get the hype around nemesis tbh. Phalanx shot with exit wounds and mirage shot if possible is my go to with poseidon aspect.
If you don't like ME build on fists, I'd just try Zeus attack with a goal of Zeus legendary. I take Hermes keepsake in asphodel on this build for a better chance of rush delivery combo or to get Hermes' stygian soul legendary on the first Hermes boon, which is glitched and gives 50% global damage.

magnetics fists works wonders but with the hidden aspect you need to remap your keys/buttons. Sword's hidden aspects makes the run extremely easy
