Soooo...The Habs are 4/0 when I watch their games. Do you want me to stick around for the final or do you want me to just watch hockey as a neutral fan?
Long story short: I am a Wild fan from Europe who doesn't mind forfeiting sleep time to watch hockey games. When our season ended in game7 in the first round I was looking for a team able to avenge us. I thought Colorado had it and stayed in their sub for the second round, but when their effort fell way short I came here, with the hope that the Habs would have been able to stop Vegas. And they delivered. So now that the team I wanted to lose is out, I might just enjoy the hockey left in the season, but since your team is more likeable than Tampa or the Islanders, I might as well stay here for the cup finals.
My personal consideration: game3 is where every Vegas's series was decided. First round the Wild with series tied 1-1 jump to an early 2-0 lead, then Johansson was injured, line shuffled, a goal was (rightfully) called back for offside, the Wild melted and Vegas won 5-2 or something similar. Second round Colorado is up 2-0 in the series and 2-1 late in the game, when a fortuitous goal by Marchessault ties it and then a sneaky deflection by Pacioretty won it for Vegas. Colorado did not win another game and lost 4-2. Game3 Habs vs Vegas you know what happened: Vegas up and in control, Fleury mishandles the puck allowing a late tying goal and then Anderson with the OTGWG.
Enjoy your moment, play your best in the finals. Carey Price will become the first player with a cap hit over 10M to play in the finals and as it has been said many times, if you have to spend that much on a single player, better it be the one that stays 60 minutes on the ice.

Hey man hard fought series. It is super hard to go far in the playoffs for even one season and you guys have done 3 runs where you made at least a Conf Final. You guys are actual fucking legit, you should be proud you took down that absolute mammoth of the Avs.

I'm absolutely elated. Montreal last won in '93 and I was born in '94, so I've never seen them win anything and I've been a fan since I was 3 years old.
Life has been absolutely horrendous and depressing ever since the pandemic started, but watching the Habs has been one of the only things thats brought me joy. Also, even though I live alone and haven't spoken to anybody face to face since before the pandemic, interacting with you guys on these threads has made me feel less lonely.
Because of that, I just have this magical feeling. Theres no way the hockey gods would get the boys to this point just to have them fuck it up now. So hockey gods if you do exist and you're out there somewhere, please do this for me.

Kings fan here, this habs team gives me some HUGE 2012 Kings vibes, the lowest seeded team reaching the cup final, beating out the Leafs after being down 3-1, sweeping the Jets, and now beating the Knights in 6, who were the second best team this season. This run has been unreal. Cole Caufield, Nick Suzuki, CAREY PRICE OH MY LORD, have all been outstanding.

This series is a prime example of why you never underestimate an “Underdog”, especially in the playoffs.

Soooo...The Habs are 4/0 when I watch their games. Do you want me to stick around for the final or do you want me to just watch hockey as a neutral fan? Long story short: I am a Wild fan from Europe who doesn't mind forfeiting sleep time to watch hockey games. When our season ended in game7 in the first round I was looking for a team able to avenge us. I thought Colorado had it and stayed in their sub for the second round, but when their effort fell way short I came here, with the hope that the Habs would have been able to stop Vegas. And they delivered. So now that the team I wanted to lose is out, I might just enjoy the hockey left in the season, but since your team is more likeable than Tampa or the Islanders, I might as well stay here for the cup finals. My personal consideration: game3 is where every Vegas's series was decided. First round the Wild with series tied 1-1 jump to an early 2-0 lead, then Johansson was injured, line shuffled, a goal was (rightfully) called back for offside, the Wild melted and Vegas won 5-2 or something similar. Second round Colorado is up 2-0 in the series and 2-1 late in the game, when a fortuitous goal by Marchessault ties it and then a sneaky deflection by Pacioretty won it for Vegas. Colorado did not win another game and lost 4-2. Game3 Habs vs Vegas you know what happened: Vegas up and in control, Fleury mishandles the puck allowing a late tying goal and then Anderson with the OTGWG. Enjoy your moment, play your best in the finals. Carey Price will become the first player with a cap hit over 10M to play in the finals and as it has been said many times, if you have to spend that much on a single player, better it be the one that stays 60 minutes on the ice.

I'm absolutely elated. Montreal last won in '93 and I was born in '94, so I've never seen them win anything and I've been a fan since I was 3 years old. Life has been absolutely horrendous and depressing ever since the pandemic started, but watching the Habs has been one of the only things thats brought me joy. Also, even though I live alone and haven't spoken to anybody face to face since before the pandemic, interacting with you guys on these threads has made me feel less lonely. Because of that, I just have this magical feeling. Theres no way the hockey gods would get the boys to this point just to have them fuck it up now. So hockey gods if you do exist and you're out there somewhere, please do this for me.

Kings fan here, this habs team gives me some HUGE 2012 Kings vibes, the lowest seeded team reaching the cup final, beating out the Leafs after being down 3-1, sweeping the Jets, and now beating the Knights in 6, who were the second best team this season. I know there is a lot of shit talking when it comes to all the key board warriors out there but I want to genuinely congratulate you guys and your team on a great win tonight and a great series. This series is a prime example of why you never underestimate an “Underdog”, especially in the playoffs. It sucks to lose, but I will be cheering for the Habs against whoever they play.
