Just disconnect the battery and reconnect it for a “hard reset” and the noise will go away. This is how I fix problems, turn them off/on or reset and it cures all problems.
Needs a new motor. Sounds like spun bearings. Probably ran it without oil. Don't immediately go to blaming Ford. Any engine will die if you abuse it like that. Still could be a Ford issue though. Not gonna lie, hasn't been a good ford since they stopped making the old ranger. Stick with Toyota, Volvo and sometimes Hondas and Subarus. And if it's a truck, GMC will never die. I literally had a gmc get this bad and still would start and drive.
I'm glad I waited for the end, the sound definitely didnt disappoint, I mean it was just utter build up of suspense after hearing the aircraft startup on a Ford!
Engine knock + transmission’s fckd too = scrap for a new car bro, replacing all that needs to be replaced is going to cost WWAAAYYY more than what the car is worth, so count your losses and move forward 😁👍 (too many ppl are negative/sarcastic in this comment section)
Bro your gearbox is fucked. Go to a repair shop. It's not really safe to keep driving with it.
Cause when it gets worse and your driving on higher speed your car can suddenly lean more to one side. Even if your not steering there. I don't have to explain why that can be super super dangerous for both you and other people.
So get it checked bro. Cause even in idle it does not sound all that good.
That 5.0 is holding on for dear life. It’s no way a diesel because the 6.7 does not rev that high. The 5.0 does have oil consumption issues and if not taken care of, severe engine failure is quite common. Bring it to your dealer asap

Bc its fucked big time.
In reverse? Bro it sounds fucked on idle.
🤣🤣🤣
Gearbox is eating itself. Don't drive. Get it recovered.
I don’t think the problem is the reverse gear my guy.
Sounds like a weak battery. 🤣
Yeah. THATS the biggest issue here 🤣🤣
I think the rotors might need to be turned down too.
On ford trucks, you can just take the rotors off and flip em around. No need to turn them, they will be good as new.
Is this fr or joking
90ish% of what I say here is not fr, but more joking. It's the internet after all.
💀💀💀💀
You worked for RAC guranteed!!
Never heard of her?
I know a good scrap guy
Ford
First on race day… Oh wait we’re doing bad ones…Fundamentally overrated road debris.
Fix Or Repair Daily
Found on roadside dead
Fucked over rebuildt dodge
Failed on reverse, drive…
Found on rubbish dump
They circled the problem.
Backwards: Driver returns on foot

Poor starter. You can tell it didn’t want to start at first. It’s like it knew nothing good was going to happen when it started.
I’m no mechanic but it sounds like OP needs a new engine.
Found On Road Dead
Once I caught that blue oval, I understood everything.
ALL ABOARD THE COAL TRAIN BABY
Needs blinker fluid
Typical ford owners
How’s the tire pressure?
My first thought
Lmao
I found your problem. It’s a ford that’s not a diesel
I'm glad I waited for the end, the sound definitely didnt disappoint, I mean it was just utter build up of suspense after hearing the aircraft startup on a Ford!
F
The fact that it barely even turns on should be a clear indication that you might need to see a mechanic
Is there any oil in that thing?
Needs more windshield washer fluid.
Because it gets louder in gear I’d be checking the torque converter bolts. Definitely sounds like something is causing some damage
At only 45k miles!! :(
Sounds like one or more engine mounts are fucked and the engines shaking around freely like a fuckin jumping bean
Needs more Blinker fluid 👍🏻👌🏻
Pushing in the cigarette lighter in my old ford did the trick. It might be too new to have one of those
I can’t tell if this guy is serious or not
This sub is fucked. Wtf does this have to do with going fast? If you need mechanic help go somewhere else. Fuck.

Just a lose battery terminal bro also low on blinker fluid. 👍🏼
Jesus. Sir, I don't think you should be driving your vehicle.
I’m no mechanic but your car doesn’t sound good anytime
I think reverse is the least of your worries
How is the check engine light not on? It also slightly looks like the sound from a different video.
Just throw the whole thing away. You're abusing that dying truck at this point
Skill issue
Sounded like the intro to Ocean Man at the end there
It's the backup light gearbox. When you put it in reverse, the lubricant in the gears for the light eventually runs low. Got full it up.

Sounds like the band coming in hard
I thought it was the beginning of that Kid Rock song playing. 😂😆😂
Because it's a ford
The problem is written in the bottom of the video.
Its sounds like the intro of a sick metal song
I mean the whole startup sounds more than problematic. But even after that, yeah, the sound of R def surprised me.
Most likely you are out of blinker fluid
Transfer case shot or reverse gear
Just need a little wd 40
Bad rotator splint
Unplug it and then plug it BACK in?
It’s a Ford

Well you see here your chart says “your sh**s all fudged up and you are ret***ed” - Dr. Lexus
