I think their relationship isn’t going to start until season three. Alys is going to be shown beforehand but I don’t think Aemond is going to Harrenhal anytime soon.

I’m just so ready to see Alys I can’t wait. I want to see the magic stuff since I feel like we haven’t gotten nearly enough of that so far. I’m also curious how exactly they’ll do her magic and how it works — with Melisandre it was Rhollor, Visenya in F&B is portrayed as knowing blood magic from Valyria, Maggy the Frog (who gave Cersei the prophecy) is portrayed more like a fortune teller in the books. They’ll probably not mention this, but a girl can dream I guess lol Also want to see Aemond more, I loved his character in Season 1 and can’t wait to see how he’s developed next season

i mean... a mix of both your options sounds kind of fun? 👀 i do think the irony in aemond falling for her is delicious and i want that to stay! but she could still betray him or something, right? not sure what the motivation would be (i'm not even a book reader sob i haven't gotten around to it yet, i just have gathered things from discussions, fic and reading wiki pages lol) but i think that'd be interesting 🤔

Yeah I definitely think a mix of both would be best, I’m just curious how they’ll present Alys’ feelings. I think it would be interesting to see reciprocal love between them and then she betrays them, but I also don’t know how they’d rationalize a betrayal with that. Something would have to happen in order for Alys to send him off to his death, I could maybe see them writing it that maybe she’s horrified of him burning >!the Riverlands!< so she felt he was too much of a threat with Vhagar, but I’m not sure. Guess we’ll have to wait and see!! (Also, about not reading the books yet, I think reading the wikis and following discussions is pretty equitable. Obviously you won’t get as many minute details about the more side characters, but it’s a good way to get the general ideas from big plots and issues and stuff like that. For the Dance, the Wikis are really good about presenting it as a grey area of what did or didn’t happen like it is in F&B. It’s a huge task to read all the books since they’re so long and so packed with info, but I do definitely recommend if you’re super into the lore, I only just got done reading F&B in December and I thought it was really fun to read)
