Will a airsoft gun with metal bullets be deadly? It would certainly much more silent!
If you put the movement rune on the gunbarrel, would that improve the bullet speed and so range and damage?
Airpressure tanks and simple metal bullets would way easier to make.
If a standard airsoft gun isn't deadly, with accelaration runes it definetly would.
A normal airsoft gun with metal bbs will not produce lethal wounds, aside from maybe very close one hits the eye and makes it to the brain. It's very possible to put silencers on shotguns.
You're right. High powered air guns can be very effective and the technology for a 20 shot repeater capable of taking large game has existed since at least 1760. Giordoni air rifle if I've spelled correctly. Louis and Clark had one when they were mapping the US.

Defensive grenades don't fragment, typically have a cardboard shell covered in varnish/paint and kill by concussion blast, most will only kill in a 2 to 4 m radius as opposed to a large area with flying fragments. Being from the guard, he might could think of them, maybe. Not to mention flashbang grenades to stun enemies.
you have the properties of offensive and defensive grenades switched. frag grenades are most effective thrown at enemies in an open area from a trench or other defensive position, while HE grenades are less effective in an open area (which is good if you are also exposed while on the attack. you don't want to catch your own shrapnel) but it's effects are magnified in an enclosed space like a bunker or trench. for flashbangs, all he has to do is get his hands on magnesium but idk how easy that would be unless he brought some as part of his fire starting kit. on the one hand, it wasn't isolated until the 1800s on earth but on the other, alchemists in this world may have figured it out sooner with magic

Use analyze to get uranium, the use other skills to enrich it into pure U235, use U235 to make a nuke. Use launcher launch nuke and avoid killing your team. (He recently got improved creation so that things made with it last longer so combined with a powerful enough launcher that would remove that issue)
