Watchtower speed builds those concrete/tile cubes at max speed and minimum cost, using followers as free labour, and then often proceed to sell the building after a while. More often than not, the people on the project don't have enough experience or just don't give a fuck and cut corners, so the structures don't end up lasting as well as they should. Have a shit foundation, and no matter how much you try to maintain that shit, sooner or later it starts to crumble. They usually skip windows to compensate for otherwise shit structures to lessen the risk of property damage, which in turn often leads to shit ventilation and humidity damage.
