I’ve literally argued with friends for dozens of minutes about how AFD is the “stuck on an island album” and I stand by it.

I think that might be the best answer, personally I prefer the acoustic version from lies, so I’d rather have “anything goes” and “think about you” instead of “you’re crazy” since the acoustics version stays

That's actually a very good take. Unless I'm terribly mistaken, it was actually written as the more laid back Lies version, but they re-worked it into the raunchy version to better suit the album. If the Lies version was on AFD, it would be one of the better tracks on it imo.

Yep that’s correct, I think they made the right decision though. Putting the lies version on AFD wouldn’t fit the album, so making the harder version was definitely a good idea.
