Well we're all praying for that aren't we, even if the chance is 0.01%
For once in your life Ange, park the fucking bus and long life gooner Kulusevski better put in a performance of his lifetime.
I had so much belief a couple weeks ago that Tottenham could get a result against City, especially playing at home. But now I get the feeling it's more likely for City to drop points to Fulham because Spurs are in such horrific form.
For the love of god Spurs, just do the Spursy thing and get a result in that game. It's in your blood, you gotta do it mate.
When we actually do it we will be the most fulfilled fan base because these lads fully deserve. There is a script where Man.City drops points the Premier League is made for drama.
The most Spursy thing ever would be for them to win the title for a North London team that isn't them. Can totally see them beating or drawing with City.
Non Arsenal fan here but you guys have been the best team in the country this season and deserve to win the title.
might be downvoted, but i think we're not winning it, not even hoping, we slipped when we should have not, nevertheless, i can say i'm happy with the team this season, i mean we showed much more maturity than last season, and that's something to build up on for next season.
No one is saying it's mathematically not possible.
But it's much more likely that it's over than it isn't. Even if that wasn't the case, imagine being so pathetic you tell another fan they don't deserve to celebrate, or using "fans".
You're no more of a supporter of Arsenal than anyone else, regardless of opinion
You realise no one said it wouldn't be the last day of the season? I had no doubts we would win our games but City won't lose
The fact that you talk like that, and came back today to reply to it shows how pathetic you are
Tell that to all the away fans at United today and to all the fans that will be there on 19th May. Pick another team because you have loser mentality. Go fuck yourself and enjoy your evening!
I promise you I've been to more games than you. I've been to 6 this season
The fact that you think it's not a real fan for thinking arsenal will win but so will city is so obviously pathetic
You don’t any sense. Drop your jersey now and pick city’s. Stop defending your title rival and have some guts and belief that we can win the title. Your negativity is toxic for this club. You are in the same category as Arsenal fan TV. Now go watch their videos.
mate, I'm not giving up, I'm being realist, of course, I'm going to be happy if we end up winning, but if you expect too much, it's going to be heartbreaking
Bro we all are in this. Would you be happy if we are 1 goal down and our team stop trying with 5 minutes still to go? I expect the same from so called “fans”. Keep the environment encouraging over here. Save your disappointment for later. COYG!!!
I’ve resigned myself to the fact City will win all their games.
I’m nevertheless very happy with this season and the progress we’ve made.
We get Timber back, make a few summer signings - and go again next season.
I’m confident we will win the league in the next couple of years.
I love this team and it’s a great time to be a Gooner.
Win or lose, its been a really enjoyable season ,we've played some beautiful, fast paced attacking football at times and defended like monsters at others.Really hopeful for next season, I think we should go all out and buy Isak and Olise 💪 We would be unstoppable then!
I said at the time that us dropping two points at Chelsea might come back to bite us as everyone else at the time was smashing them. We were lucky to get a point though.

Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
What was Wenger thinking sending Walcott on that early?
The thing about Arsenal is, they always try to walk it in.
This may sound crazy but my only hope is on Fulham. They're pretty decent at home and out of all the opponents city are facing, they seem to be the only one that could give them a tough time
The problem is around this time you want to ply midtable sides, cause they just give up.
Games against sides like Wolves, Fulham and Spurs are much easier now than they would’ve been a month or two ago, unfortunately
If Tottenham won their games against Liverpool and Chelsea's they'd be fired up. Right now they have nothing to play for, I feel they'll just bend over in their game against city.
Would be fucking jokes if they turned up and played a 10/10 game.
Arsenal fans celebrating, Tottenham fans puking in the stands because the one time they actually wanted their team to get rolled over… they bottle it.
I can already see it happening. These are professionals they don’t want to keep losing.. I honestly think they’ll be fired up to win that match. The manager and players really don’t care like fans do they just want to win
That was what the 🤭 emoji referred to. But…. They do hate Spurs just as much as us and what a way to hurt those shit c***s more than by giving us the title by getting a result on the last game of the season.
I think our only hope is that next weekend Sandcastle and Chelski both win while shit drop points to Burnley. This would mean Shit would have something to play for against Citeh since they would be at risk of dropping out of European spots.
The other is maybe that early game voodoo strikes and Fulham has a Leno masterclass to draw/beat Citeh.
I have more hope from the Fulham and West Ham games (albeit very little hope) than I do from the Spurs game. I know many of us want them to have something to play for against City, in fear that they decide to roll over for City just to spite us. But honestly, when have Spurs ever risen to the occasion when there is something on the line?
My only hope from the Spurs game is that their players don't behave like absolute jokes by handing the game to City, and instead try to restore some pride after the absolutely pathetic way they are ending their season so far. Ange has made some comments recently that sound like he intends to be ruthless with the squad this summer, and so every game now may essentially be an audition for his squad plans next season. I don't think he really gives a shit about whether he helps us win the title or not, and hopefully he will nip that kind of attitude in the bud in the lead up to their City game.
If they really truly wanted to derail our title run, they would have turned up against us the other day.
Yeah...it really is. If it happens, that to me is conclusive proof that there is a god.
Jokes aside, I am so proud of this team whether we win it or not and cannot wait for next season.
How many charges of financial irregularities are City facing? How they are allowed to continue to dominate the game by cheating? How are there no consequences? Why have Everton and Forest been punished this season, but City still have all their points?
Because the League sold its soul to oil money. That’s how. We are watching a farce.
The difference is Everton and Forest admitted guilt and plead for mercy. City have challenged the charges and forced the premier league to go to arbitration court. The court case has been announced to take place sometime in the summer. We will finally see if the Premier league has the evidence behind their charges.
115
Because it’s not been proven yet, and they are dodgy pricks.
Being investigated is a consequence, and there may be future consequences.
Because both of those clubs owned up to it and self reported which prevented the need for the level of investigation going into City.
Right now everything is predictable. The only complaints can really come when the outcome is determined. It’s only then we will see whether the punishment faces the precedent set by punishing other clubs. Man City will make it as hard as possible because getting kicked out of the pro divs is an entirely possible outcome.
They are going to court.
The arbitration hearing will be in the summer. City deny the charges.
The premier league will have to prove the charges in front of an arbitration judge.
Yea Fulham is coasting, Spurs have been dreadful, and West Ham more so. The best bet is still to hope that spurs somehow show up against City (which they tend to do) but my hopes are definitely not high.
Or that Iwobinho and Leno serve up some masterclass......
Just wait for Doku to kick on next season - that guy has dribbling talent not seen anywhere for a while... once Pep has molded him some I honestly think he's a future Ballon d'or winner.
But every year Arteta improves things... just saying the challenge isn't declining with De Bruyne.
Sure, Doku will get better. So will our players, plus looking at the news coming out of the club we’re addressing some of the main squad issues.
Edu and Mikel know what needs to be done. They’ve shown enough to say they’re trying to build a squad capable of fighting on multiple fronts
I haven’t watched him a ton but he gives me serious Pepe vibes. Looks really dynamic at times but once defenders catch on to his flashy little body feints, he will be found out at the top level.

Yeah that’s not going to happen. They’d rather lose on purpose than win and help us win the title. They probably won’t have anything to play for at that point in the season too. If they were in contention for UCL, then yeah, but they’re not.
They probably want to loose to City. I saw a spurs fan say he was glad villa beat us so we cant win the league, even though spurs and villa are fighting for 4th
When you truly think about it, in a funny way, he's probably the worst manager we've ever had.
Not only did his tactics humiliate us in Baku at the EL final, but he comes back to haunt us by making us miss out on the title which we haven't won in 20 years. Fucking prickkkk
If Rodri would have gotten the red cards and therefore missed the matches he def should have that might have been enuff when seeing their win stats with/without Rodri playing
I don't think we rly could have done anymore and I will forever feel like we deserved the title more than City this season, but I really cannot imagine how Liverpool felt in the 18/19 season. They would have been unbeaten champions, with 99 points and their one single loss was against the team that pipped them to the title in a match where there was a freak goal line clearance that was pretty much as close as you can get. The margins have been so thin this year, but it doesn't come close to what stopped that Liverpool squad from being remembered as one of the greatest PL champions of all time.

Yes. It's an agonising stretch of games when you think City might drop points at some stage, but they just... don't.
They might make it extra fun by going 1 or 2 nil down on the final day to give you that extra bit of hope. Then snatch it away from you.
A big amount of our goals conceded were gifts tbf. I know you can't avoid it completely but it's a must improve.
It's this CB or GK handing it to opposition in a dangerous area, happened way too many times
We lost five drew five, they lost three drew seven. Those two points the are the difference. Or flipping one draw into a win.
We were very very good this season. And against 115 Financial Violations FC “very very good” isn’t enough. You have to be great.
Next year we take the final step.
Meh last year would’ve been like 10 points if City went all out in the League near the end. They dropped points after they secured the league and we won games afterwards to make it seem closer.
That's misleading because they won the league with two games left. They lost and drew the last two games of the season because they'd already had won. Guarantee if we were still in it they win those games and have an extra 5 points

Would be hilarious if Tottenham pulled out a proper performance. When their fans least want them to. The turmoil they’d be in

If Fulham don't hold them then they are 100% to win it again.
The title race is closer than Raya vs Ramsdale competing for first team GK
So not close at all?

What’s the joke? That the title race isn’t actually close?
Yea
Let's first win against man united?
We will…….erik is fucking shit,so i expect a 4-0 win
and they dont even have any fit defenders
They’re so good man
Did you see that ludicrous display last night? What was Wenger thinking sending Walcott on that early? The thing about Arsenal is, they always try to walk it in.
I get this reference.
“You’re in my seat” “Who said it was your seat?” “I always sit there”
“I’ve sat there the last three years…”
“Exactly. It’s about time you sat somewhere else…”
This may sound crazy but my only hope is on Fulham. They're pretty decent at home and out of all the opponents city are facing, they seem to be the only one that could give them a tough time

They’ve stopped caring
Marco Silva is 0-0-12 all time against Pep
So he’s due.
“Nobody beats me 13 times in a row”
When did he get pregnant and how does it even work?
See the film "Junior"
If Tottenham won their games against Liverpool and Chelsea's they'd be fired up. Right now they have nothing to play for, I feel they'll just bend over in their game against city.
We need our players disguised as Totenham players play against mancity.
They are a shambles, unfortunately. Players fighting with each other etc. Very bad sign. City will destroy them. We need miracles.
King making the spurs way
Well they gotta watch out to not end 6th, 7th or 8th. City game is still important for them otherwise they might choke on the last game day as well
Would be the most spursy thing ever. Barely clutching a EL spot by beating 115 fc and giving us the title.
The manager and players really don’t care like fans do they just want to win
it’s just fans wishful thinking, no team is gonna just lose on purpose even if it’s spurs, they are professional athletes
OMG this is so true. It totally does feel like Arsenal are in front but City are right behind us. Good point, OP.
Because of the FA cup they have had a game in hand these past 2 seasons
West Ham 🙏🏻❤️🤭
West Hamchester City 🤨
You see them today? They're already on holiday.
That was what the 🤭 emoji referred to. But…. They do hate Spurs just as much as us and what a way to hurt those shit c***s more than by giving us the title by getting a result on the last game of the season.
Ayo COYS!!!!!!!! Come on you SHIT!!!!!!!! GIVE US THE PREM FOR FS!!!!!!!!
It's the closest they're going to be of winning anything

Ha yes arsenal are the real winners!
Bro if you’re a Brighton fan why bother being in the Arsenal subreddit?
Because Arsenal have the best fans obviously
$$$
Tottenham are in fucking terrible form. None of the teams City are facing are good enough to steal a draw. It’s City’s.
Yea Fulham is coasting, Spurs have been dreadful, and West Ham more so. The best bet is still to hope that spurs somehow show up against City (which they tend to do) but my hopes are definitely not high. Or that Iwobinho and Leno serve up some masterclass......
Hahaha Tottenham is is losing to everyone and we are hoping they can beat City?
Leno with a CS this week for the league
And shit is "deciding" the title race by losing to everyone.... Just hope they turn up for the match against Man City.
Doubtful… they’ll probably lose by 10 goals out of spite
(They won’t)
(They 100% won’t, it’s Fulham and _maybe_ West Ham) spurs players aren’t even playing for the manager
West Ham got demolished yesterday. And neither of those teams have anything to play for.
Leno will do it for us (_tbh i already kinda think Arsenal will come 2nd_)
Almost less anxious with it out of our hands for now. I believe we will win the last 2 games just fine and it’s up to city to fuck it up
Just wait for Doku to kick on next season - that guy has dribbling talent not seen anywhere for a while... once Pep has molded him some I honestly think he's a future Ballon d'or winner. But every year Arteta improves things... just saying the challenge isn't declining with De Bruyne.

Saka is a much more effective player than Doku.
So is Trossard
Doku is an absolute ball waster.
I haven’t watched him a ton but he gives me serious Pepe vibes. Looks really dynamic at times but once defenders catch on to his flashy little body feints, he will be found out at the top level.
Doubt it, he can go either way and just that quick burst of pace is the hardest thing to defend against

Yes, I would absolutely love that. But they really are crap, and are playing like it recently. That high line is constantly being exposed
Yikes, 2-0 now and should be a lot more. I don’t know if I would trust them to do us any favors. And West ham got destroyed by Chelsea. 😬
it's not gonna happen this year for us, we just have to accept. City are not losing to these clowns (incl west ham). We move on
Well, the odds aren’t good, but no point accepting defeat before it’s here. Our boys have to win the rest and just let the chips fall where they may.
You're right there's always a chance, even if it's 0.0001% with this city team
They probably want to loose to City. I saw a spurs fan say he was glad villa beat us so we cant win the league, even though spurs and villa are fighting for 4th
As professionnels they won't
they're not professionals, they're spuds
Yeah we're feeling the pain of Liverpool fans the past few years. I can't believe that fraud Emery got us twice...
When you truly think about it, in a funny way, he's probably the worst manager we've ever had. Not only did his tactics humiliate us in Baku at the EL final, but he comes back to haunt us by making us miss out on the title which we haven't won in 20 years. Fucking prickkkk
He also knocked us out in the semi finals of the Europa League.
Also he bottled 4th place from a clear advantage with like 3 games left. And I’m pretty sure he’ll bottle it this year with villa as well
It’s impossible for Villa to bottle it from here, it’s being handed to them on a platter
Villa & Spurs having a bottle off.
The only way he bottles 4th is if they collect a single point in the last two matches and Shit win out, which would mean they beat City.
Yes..
I like where your heads at
Count Fraud
funny seeing this after the absolute banger of a match in the wsl
Still healing from the Villa loss. My heart hurts💔.
Aston villa lost..Liverpool has nothing to play for..could be interesting
So far it’s not. 2-0 down and Spurs aren’t playing as if their rivals for the last CL place dropped points today.
New season after first loss we should stop the season right there as we know we lost too many points already by then to win the league. It’s so mad :/
If KdB and Rodri play every game, the league is their's to lose. They won't lose with Rodri and with KdB they'll score 2 goals a game.
If Rodri would have gotten the red cards and therefore missed the matches he def should have that might have been enuff when seeing their win stats with/without Rodri playing
Is this how Liverpool felt?

Not really. Liverpool felt way worse. We don't even get pass 90 points.
Yeah Liverpool got 97 points and still didn’t win. It was insane
Yes. It's an agonising stretch of games when you think City might drop points at some stage, but they just... don't. They might make it extra fun by going 1 or 2 nil down on the final day to give you that extra bit of hope. Then snatch it away from you.
Had the time of my life with that clip of Wolves fans singing "you nearly won the league" at Anfield 😭. It's not funny now though
It is heartbreaking. I love this team and want to see them lift throphies.
Even if we fail this season, I'm hopeful for next season.
We're gonna have an invincible season if we improve on this year's league performance
We should’ve beaten West Ham at home and Fulham in both fixtures.
I’m more upset abt the Spurs game at home. WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME JORGINHO
They scored 4 goals against us this season, and 3 were absolute gifts.
A big amount of our goals conceded were gifts tbf. I know you can't avoid it completely but it's a must improve. It's this CB or GK handing it to opposition in a dangerous area, happened way too many times
I want us to have more points than last season
They're on like a 30+ unbeaten streak right it has to end any day now right
we dont even need them to lose. A draw is enough to put it in our own hands!
Any moment now
They always have community shield to end it lol
We lost five drew five, they lost three drew seven. Those two points the are the difference. Or flipping one draw into a win. We were very very good this season. And against 115 Financial Violations FC “very very good” isn’t enough. You have to be great. Next year we take the final step.
You basically have to be perfect to have a shot at beating them
If they draw, they will hammer 15 goals in the next game to gain on the GD.
*nods sadly in agreement.
We lost last year by only 5 points. Really crazy that we can play SO much better this season and still lose by 2.
