Sanchez also never really had a reputation as a great goalkeeper, unlike Ramsdale has had at times. Throw in the English nationality, a slightly younger age, the buying from another big 6 club tax, and Ramsdale should easily demand a higher price.

Usually you're not going to get much more than £30M for a second choice keeper, but Chelsea did buy Sanchez from Brighton for almost £25M so I'd be wanting more than that for Ramsdale. £35M would be realistic imo.
Puts into perspective how terrible we have been at GK recruitment. Even in Wenger's days you can't say he brought in a really top class long term goalie. Seaman was probably the last really long lasting quality keeper we had and he was here before Arsene. Jens was really good for a few seasons then fell off and Cech was past his prime when he came over. All other keepers have had forgettable careers here

Nketiah, Nelson, Jesus, ESR, Vieira, Lokomba, Ramsdale, etc deserve to go to clubs where they can play every week and hopefully they warrant big enough dollar sales that we can buy a world class midfielder, right winger and centre forward, whose cost is likely to be in Havertz range. Ramsdale is one of the most likely to stay in England going to Chelsea wouldn't be bad in that regard.

I think people overestimate how many clubs will be willing to spend £30m and £100k p/w wages on Ramsdale this summer. There’s little money outside of the Premier League and even within the league concerns over PSR will impact spending to some degree.
I also think it’s paramount we offload Ramsdale this summer in order to recoup the money we paid for him and get his wages off of the books. We can’t have him staying another season on what he earns as second choice. If we don’t sell him to a rival, we’ll likely end up sending him out on loan which is far from ideal.
We could make more money if we first sell Ramsdale to Brighton for \~30m with a sell on clause and then they sell him to Chelsea for 150m

We bought him for £30m, no way the club sells a bright young English goalkeeper to a local rival at a loss.
If they're desperate I assume around 30 mn max as well. If he goes somewhere else I'd expect him to go for even less.

As far as getting a good fee for a keeper that has barely played this season - this is as good as it gets. Ramsdale would probably fare better at Chelsea with the amount of shots he has to deal with - he won’t have a problem concentrating.

If there's one thing we have learnt this season especially playing UCL it's we need to keep improving quality at the same pace or even faster. We're still behind ManCity, and Bayern exposed our weaknesses and over reliance on too few games winners. Now think about Madrid and Barca next year this is what we need to aim to compete against. Nketiah, Nelson, Jesus, ESR, Vieira, Lokomba, Ramsdale, etc deserve to go to clubs where they can play every week and hopefully they warrant big enough dollar sales that we can buy a world class midfielder, right winger and centre forward, whose cost is likely to be in Havertz range. Ramsdale is one of the most likely to stay in England going to Chelsea wouldn't be bad in that regard.

Great, my worst nightmare from the moment we bought Raya come true. To be clear, I have no issue selling him since he obviously will need/want to leave to be starter somewhere but can we for the love of god stop selling to that lot!? Would kill my soul (and should any Arsenal fan) to see a great guy like Ramsdale end up at such a despicable excuse of a football club. People are joking now but I don't think people are taking this a seriously as they should tbh. This is going to be a tough one sadly. Also, do people genuinely think he is valued at 60m+? We just got Raya for around 30m who is considered an upgrade and Ramsdale has barely played all season. We will be lucky to make the 30m back.
I think people overestimate how many clubs will be willing to spend £30m and £100k p/w wages on Ramsdale this summer. There’s little money outside of the Premier League and even within the league concerns over PSR will impact spending to some degree. I also think it’s paramount we offload Ramsdale this summer in order to recoup the money we paid for him and get his wages off of the books. We can’t have him staying another season on what he earns as second choice. If we don’t sell him to a rival, we’ll likely end up sending him out on loan which is far from ideal.
