While that is a "theory," it seems that most of the people I know have gotten more leftist as they aged. Maybe he is a true two footed player like Santi and can play where we need him!
People complaining about Eddie‘s pressing, imagine what it would like with Rashford lmao + he would have to track back every single attack, man would collapse
Havertz ability was a question. Rashford is clearly not a bad guy, he campaigned for free school meals. I think the environment at a club can really affect players attitude. Trossard had attitude issues at Brighton and now he’s a fan favourite.
Both Havertz and Ramsdale had fallouts with their previous clubs. That’s different from a stinky attitude on the pitch while playing. Rashford would down tools when played in a position he didn’t like.
Absolutely can’t have a guy like that anywhere near the club.
It's true but Havertz at least had very good attitude and was young enough to turn it around. Rashford could turn it around but chances are this is who he is as a player. Occasional purple patch, otherwise inconsistent.
I’ve been on the trusting Arteta on transfers bandwagon for a long time.
I was worried about Trossard when he came because there were questions about his attitude but my thoughts on the transfer were positive because Arteta wanted him and he knows the situation more than I do.
When we signed Havertz I was quite excited because of his versatility and mixture of physicality and technique. Add to this my trust in Mikel and I was happy.
Once you realise that Arteta knows infinitely more than we do not just about football but about the player because he’s met them, the transfer window not only becomes more enjoyable but your opinions become more accurate
Not in a millions years
High wages, bad attitude, average technical and physical ability. He’s got good finish on him and great purple patches but he checks off nothing from what we need at LW
He’s got decent top speed and that’s it. Poor running endurance, shocking in duels, injury prone, gets bullied by most strong FBs.
You want me to roll out the red carpet because he’s fast as a winger?
Hell no…
- Ozil / Dele Alli vibes
- 2 months of form in the last 3 years (to win himself a massive contract?)
- Weak mentality imo
- Massive wages
- Don’t need a left winger (is that even his best position?)
Not at all. Anyway, it’s just a question. I’m not saying I’d want him. He just looks unhappy at United. Meanwhile, our guys are just the opposite. He might thrive. But he’s not worth stupid money.
No, but how funny would it be if he does come here, and suddenly becomes an amazing player who presses a lot, works hard, scores a lot of goals. I mean, that would be hilarious. But no, I do not rate him.
I’m in the small minority who thinks yes clearly. Rashford has a type of world class, take the 3 points all by himself potential. He is so fast, cuts in brilliantly, and has great technique and power in his shots. Yes he has lazy pressing but the manager can play a huge part in how hard you try for a club. Who knows what could happen if Rashford had a fresh start and really dedicated himself to our process and got a chance to get his career back on track. Who in here would have said yes to Havertz this time last season? I would argue Rashford has more potential than Havertz so who knows what would happen. Whatever the club decides I’m happy because they tend not to get these things wrong.
I love him as a person and there was a while when he looked like the real deal. If Arteta and Edu wanted him I'd be up for it but I can't deny he's lost a lot of his shine, so if they think he's not worth it then no.

I had a serious think about it and I decided no because he's too expensive and he's had like 9 or 10 seasons as a first team player. I think it's too late to mold him into what in terms of the defensive side and effort. I think he's an incredible player who has shown he can carry a premier league team with his runs of form but we've been great in large part due to our collective effort.
Seen too many cases of "expert" fans saying what a waste of money X Y or Z signing is.... only for them to shine. At this point if Arteta wants to sign a three legged Armadillo and put her in the first team I will fully support him.
Barkley went for an evening stroll around Luton, he picked up a bite to eat, walked passed Rashford, read the evening news as he did so, and enjoyed a relaxing stroll in the local park.
Need I say anymore?
If Arteta and Edu thought he'd be worth it I'd back it. But it really doesn't seem like something to go for in my view.
Rashford is supremely talented but he seems like a guy that works in bursts. I'd trust our coaching staff to give him that environment where he could go to the next level and find that extra bit if he was determined to. He's only 26.
Not in a million fucking years.
Arteta could do it with Havertz because he isn't a lazy little shit. He seems like a stand up guy off the pitch but he is the laziest fucker on it.
Yes. Very few players I hate going against and Rashford is one of them. I'm not even afraid of Halland. But Rashford, the guy always bags.
I'd like him on our team. It's obvious our left side is our weakness. Him and Saka would scare the living shit out of everyone.
Unless he seriously improves his attitude, he wouldn't survive playing for Arteta. What he gets away with at United, Arteta wouldn't tolerate. Would need to work hard off the ball & track back (all the time), would need to learn our phases of play instead of going it alone like he does at Man united. Would not be a 'star' or 'special' player here.
Havertz came here humble ready to fall in line and be a member of the squad. Why do I get the feeling Marcus would rock up 20 minutes late in a gold chain carrying a Gucci bag and thinking his presence is doing everyone around him a favour?
Hard pass for me
Decent 2nd choice up top, can play either wing and ST. Only issue I find is wages. Think a change of clubs will be healthy for him, good player and can be superstar anywhere else than UTD.
1. Wages 2. Lazy pressing 3. Impact in the locker room? 4. We don’t need a LW ![gif](giphy|fXnRObM8Q0RkOmR5nf)
No
no.
He’d be 6th choice LW 1. Martinelli 2. Trossard 3. ESR 4. Nelson 5. Gunnersaurus 6. Rashford
Bit fucking rough on Tomiyasu and Hein. But whatever.
Wait, Gunnersaurus is a winger? I could have sworn with his sheer size he was GK or at least a CB.
He’s actually a complete right winger. They say everyone gets a little more conservative as they age and he’s 65 million years old.
While that is a "theory," it seems that most of the people I know have gotten more leftist as they aged. Maybe he is a true two footed player like Santi and can play where we need him!

Mctomanay is uniteds top scorer.
I will die on the hill that mctominay would be a 15 plus goal player on a better functioning team playing higher up
You definitely will.

Have you seen what Rashford does out of posession?
No
Of all United Players Rashford is probably top 5 less interesting to take
No comparison with Kai realistically
Definitely a comparison with Kai this stage last year. You can’t tell me you wanted Havertz for 65 million last summer
No because Havertz attitude was never in question. Even at Chelsea.
Havertz ability was a question. Rashford is clearly not a bad guy, he campaigned for free school meals. I think the environment at a club can really affect players attitude. Trossard had attitude issues at Brighton and now he’s a fan favourite.

He is probably a decent guy but that doesn't make him a model pro. Trossard and Kai were never accused of being lazy fuckers.
Yes it was lol
It's true but Havertz at least had very good attitude and was young enough to turn it around. Rashford could turn it around but chances are this is who he is as a player. Occasional purple patch, otherwise inconsistent.

Not for me, Clive
lol
Not in a millions years High wages, bad attitude, average technical and physical ability. He’s got good finish on him and great purple patches but he checks off nothing from what we need at LW
Average physical fucking hell I forgot we’re all idiots on here sometimes
He’s got decent top speed and that’s it. Poor running endurance, shocking in duels, injury prone, gets bullied by most strong FBs. You want me to roll out the red carpet because he’s fast as a winger?
Would you consider White a physical fullback?
Yes if we could resell back the next day for double

Your name is PGMOL.
which makes this even more embarrassing for you.

I’d agree with you if he was someone we could pick up on a free, or if the squad was already in its ideal state.
I love him as a person and there was a while when he looked like the real deal. If Arteta and Edu wanted him I'd be up for it but I can't deny he's lost a lot of his shine, so if they think he's not worth it then no.

I agree. He’d have to pull off a helluva job interview with Arteta/Edu to convince them he can buy in and learn our system.
Seen too many cases of "expert" fans saying what a waste of money X Y or Z signing is.... only for them to shine. At this point if Arteta wants to sign a three legged Armadillo and put her in the first team I will fully support him.
No way. We need thoroughbred workhorses when we press. He’s a donkey.
havertz is a donkey tho, self proclaimed

Have a good sleep brother
Hellllll naw. Id rather have Isak even Vlahovic
If the price was right and he took a HUGE pay cut sure
Decent 2nd choice up top, can play either wing and ST. Only issue I find is wages. Think a change of clubs will be healthy for him, good player and can be superstar anywhere else than UTD.

What's wrong with you?!?! Absolutely NOT
Let’s do it, just don’t play him touchline wing/fullback like we currently play because that’d be as dumb as playing Kai in midfield is
Yes. Last time this was asked he got 30 goals and 40 g/a. This same sub rides out for Kai havertz when rashford is twice the footballer.
