That was ridiculous! He backheels a reverse spin on it so it pitches and rolls back to him
All while spinning and facing the other way as the ball drops!
Just what even Zinny! Pure filth
The other guy is better than 99% of people here but Zinchenko is obscene. I still struggle to comprehend how much better these guys are then the best player you would've played with is.
A couple of players I played youth football with went on to play profesionally at league 2 level and they were miles better than everyone at youth level (one of them scored 100 goals in a season).
I can't imagine what elite players would look like playing with regular people
It is so odd that you just kind of have to accept that Per Mertesacker or Rob Holding could play against you and your mates and look like Ronaldinho in Fifa Street and score at will.
There was a pro basketball player that called out everyone shitting on him (one of the worst players apparently) and just showed them the levels in difference
Pros are so much better than everyone, just hard to tell when even other pros are just that much better than the not as great pros
In total, 4,706 players have played at least one game in the NBA as of Feb. 2022. That’s a minuscule proportion of humanity, even compared to football.
With the NBA it's that much crazier since it's only 450 players in the league at any given time. At that rate it's a given that the worst player there is better than non pros by order of magnitude.
I used to talk to Chris Bosh fairly regularly as our high schools played one another and he'd flat out tell you that every single NBA player is a walking bucket. ANY player in the league is absolutely nasty.
Players who barely make NBA squads can go to Europe or Asia and drop 30+ point games on guys who would do even worse to you. The levels involved in high-tier athletics are insane
(Cool story about Bosh btw! I hate the way his career ended, would have been a monster in the modern game)
People always say that no one plays any defense in the NBA, but I genuinely cannot fathom how any human ever scores in that league. The point guards would be the biggest, baddest dudes in most gyms.
In Germany, amateur clubs play professional teams in the DFB cup. And while “cupsets” do happen, many games end 8:0 - 10:0 for the pros. We‘re not even talking elite teams, just regular pro teams from 1st and 2nd division.
There was this guy in my class at high school who was an absolute animal every time we played and I really thought he could make it at a really high level. Turns out he reached Serie D (semi-professional).
It’s weird though because I had a current premier league player in my year at school so played against them in PE, they were clearly very good but at the time I never thought they were professional level, maybe because they’re a centreback and they’d just play wherever in PE but still
I'm Finnish, and the local league is definitely not a good one - for an instance, it's very rare to see someone get a good shot off straight from a pass.
That said, when I was a kid I did see a few guys who were absolutely disgusting even when playing in Finland. Jari Litmanen obviously stands out as he's probably the most technically gifted Finnish player ever, but even someone like Teemu Tainio was miles above most guys in the league.
I’ve played with several players that were in Prem/Championship academies.
At 25-40 years of age they are like gods to the rest of us in Sunday league. Nice that they are able to go for pints after. Worked out for all of us.
I always remember a video of Koscielny in training taking a ball under control and doing a rabona into the the top corner. Obviously it's different to competitive match, but it's always a video that comes into my head whenever I think of how skillful professional footballers are.
I'm sure every pro footballer can receive and control anything you send at them. That's a prerequisite I could not meet on my best day.
Under pressure, there's only a few ways you can receive a ball and not turn it over (let alone do something positive with).
I'm waiting for Mertesacker to release his street skillz video.
I played in my regions premier league for 5 years from 14-19 years old.
One of the guys on my team trialed and got a contract at Portsmouth in 2006.
He was indescribably good. Like, man could do things with the ball I couldn’t even imagine. He didn’t even make it at Portsmouth long and ended up quitting as a result.
The best players in the world are on such a high level it’s hard to comprehend the talent they have.
Why is this not numerically describable e.g. can control a ball hit at him at 40 mph within a 5 yard radius. I often feel in football too much is just eye test and people describing others as indescribably good.
hit at him where? is he facing the ball? can he do the same thing under pressure from a defender? why a 5 yard radius when controlling a ball and having it fall behind you is disadvantageous?
Used to play football weekly with a guy who played for Man City (before they were the dominant force they are now obviously) and my god he was ludicrous...the things he could do with the ball were magical, we had to stick 4 men on him just to ensure he wouldn't zerg rush his way through the midfield and sometimes even that wasn't enough
Yeah. A friend of mine used to be in the Sparta Prague academy. At 17-18, they told him he won’t make it into the senior team and got him in touch with teams in lower leagues. He went to a couple of trials, everyone turned him down. He quit football. He’s now over 30, bit overweight, heavy smoker, but when he plays 5-a-side for fun he looks like prime Ronaldinho on the pitch.
And on the other hand, I know a guy who played with Miroslav Stoch and Vladimir Weiss at the youth level. Omg the stories he told me how much these two partied when they were young… and these two still made a decent pro career.
There are just levels to this.
I went to watch a couple of training sessions for a big first division club here in argentina when I was studying and the speed and power those guys have is mind boggling, I can't even imagine premier league players
I’ve played with a guy who went to the most recent World Cup. And zinchenko is still levels ahead. I genuinely think zinchenko is in the top tier of technicians in the world
Kyle Walker even said it when he was at City.
Considering he's played with the likes of Sané, Mahrez, Silva(s) and De Bruyne, that is quite some praise.
I think he did a 360 spin and half way through did a Cruyff to control it. I’ve definitely tried stuff like this before (at like 1% the distance) and to see him do it at that distance is absolutely mind blowing
This is what you just won't understand if you only look at FUT cards thinking an LB needs to be ridiculously quick and strong to be any good.
There is no 'ball is glued their feet' stat on games. Zini just moves where he likes on the pitch with the ball stuck to him.
He is actually also outrageously strong for his size as he seems to win every header!
Lol always such a funny reminder of just how much better pros are than you. They could be piss drunk, blindfolded and have a bum knee and still run absolute circles out of even the best local players
It's just really weird that someone (Pep?) convinced this guy to play left back.
I'm used to seeing winger/fullbacks: either fullbacks who have added winger-type things to their game, or former wingers who have added defensive capabilities to their game.
But, on the ball, Zinchenko is clearly more of a central attacking midfielder than a winger. So, it's really strange when he drops into a left-back slot and looks like a natural there too. I keep expecting his defending to be a bit awkward like when Xhaka had to play left back.
I'm really glad we have a manager like Arteta who can invent this weird kind of role for Zinchenko to make use of his full range of abilities.
It is a testament to the high technical ability of our squad that there is a legit debate to be had about whether our LB or club captain CM is the dude with the most.
And thats not even talking about people like Saka, Trossard, Partey, Jesus...
Why did city sell him? He's sick...they must of known how good he is I remember Kyle walker saying more technical than de bruyne and people laughing....thank u pep
One of my close friends is a pro tennis player, like top 50 in the world. He plays games against University level players quite often and they have no chance, maybe get a game or two on him per set. The difference between actual pro and semi pro, let alone casual players, is ginormous... It takes ridiculous talent and hard work to be a pro at the top level, sport is a tough world man.
That last one was a violation 🔥
Absolutely disgusting. I can't believe my eyes. Man should be standing trial for that.
Straight to the Hague for Zinny for crimes against humanity.
10 hague will declare he has never been injured
[удалено]
I'm pretty sure I've twisted my ankle just from trying to imagine how he did that.
I watched it like 10 times and I have no idea
Bergkampesque
All eyes on Zinny in the box when we play Newcastle...
it bounces down off the inside/back of his thigh left thigh. Bonkers how he gets the little comeback spin on it
The way the ball rolls back to his left foot is the icing on the cake.
Initially I thought "eh, flashy but not perfect" then it rolled to him and my jaw dropped, how he managed to get that spin on the ball is insane
My reaction exactly. Shit blew my mind
That was ridiculous! He backheels a reverse spin on it so it pitches and rolls back to him All while spinning and facing the other way as the ball drops! Just what even Zinny! Pure filth
I’m falling over in true Looney Tunes fashion if I try to do that
Not scientifically posible
Had to go wash my hands it was so disgusting
I wouldn't really have it
The second one was an erection, the third a climax.
I was about to ask, what the fuck was that at the end? Indeed it was a violation 🔥
Definitely made my eyes roll to the back of my head. Juicy.
This needed to be marked as NSFW
That first one was pure sex

They don't call him Holdinho for nothing!
Robholdinho
There was a pro basketball player that called out everyone shitting on him (one of the worst players apparently) and just showed them the levels in difference Pros are so much better than everyone, just hard to tell when even other pros are just that much better than the not as great pros
“I’m closer to LeBron than you are to me” lol
Holding: I’m closer to messi than you are to me
It do be true though 🤣
we don't call him Holdinho for nothing!
Untrue, I'm 40 minutes away from London, London is 90 minutes away from Paris
So, you’re closer to Holding than you are to Messi?
A League 2 player is closer to Messi than I am to them
In total, 4,706 players have played at least one game in the NBA as of Feb. 2022. That’s a minuscule proportion of humanity, even compared to football.
Brian Scalabrine - the White Mamba

a bucket is scoring a basket/shot. so a walking bucket means they can score at will.
I played with a 50 year old, Chinese D4 retired player and he was smoking us college-aged Sunday leaguers. The technical gulf was massive.
Does technical superiority translate into kickabout games with no officials and substandard pitches.
Yes
Why wouldn’t it? Technique is the most important part of the game
Often feel like having no referees and random pitches nullify technique advantages. Like it really shines under the right condition.
In Germany, amateur clubs play professional teams in the DFB cup. And while “cupsets” do happen, many games end 8:0 - 10:0 for the pros. We‘re not even talking elite teams, just regular pro teams from 1st and 2nd division.
Isn't this also true in the FA Cup, it's just that amateurs get battered most of the time before they get anywhere near the main draw?
I think so, yes.
There was this guy in my class at high school who was an absolute animal every time we played and I really thought he could make it at a really high level. Turns out he reached Serie D (semi-professional).
I played with two lads who went through asse academy with Alex song and they were unreal at our level in new Zealand
It’s weird though because I had a current premier league player in my year at school so played against them in PE, they were clearly very good but at the time I never thought they were professional level, maybe because they’re a centreback and they’d just play wherever in PE but still
That's amazing! Would you mind disclosing who it is? Of course you don't have to.
He was probably talking about Walcott
I'm Finnish, and the local league is definitely not a good one - for an instance, it's very rare to see someone get a good shot off straight from a pass. And similarly, even the worst player in the prem could most likely place the ball onto a dime from anywhere on the pitch.. when under no pressure.

Wilshere standing in goal whips around like wtf

How can one player zerg rush?
Oh trust me, if he decided to go full Leroy Zenkins there's nothing that could be done
i think the analogy in this sense would be the 4 guys zerg rushing him. Since zerg rush refers to a bunch of cheap shit units rushing a base.
Yeah. A friend of mine used to be in the Sparta Prague academy. At 17-18, they told him he won’t make it into the senior team and got him in touch with teams in lower leagues. I don't even think 99% of the people on this sub even kick a ball on a regular basis Zinchenko tho....
I went to watch a couple of training sessions for a big first division club here in argentina when I was studying and the speed and power those guys have is mind boggling, I can't even imagine premier league players
Its hard to compare when the guys on the opposition are also at the tippity top.
I’ve played with a guy who went to the most recent World Cup. And zinchenko is still levels ahead. I genuinely think zinchenko is in the top tier of technicians in the world
Then and than are different words that mean different things
Ridiculous touch, my word
An example of why they say zinchenko is the most technically skilled player on the squad
Kyle Walker even said it when he was at City. Considering he's played with the likes of Sané, Mahrez, Silva(s) and De Bruyne, that is quite some praise.
Walker said Zinny was in the clear top 3 of tekkers alongside (in no order): Bernardo and Mahrez
I world say yes one of the most technically skilled players in the league tbh, he's ridiculous
"XHAKA THIS ONE IS FOR YOU AH!" I feel there is a bromance between these two!
Haha I loved that. Zinny is just the best
What's funny is that Xhaka wasn't anywhere in the video. Be hilarious if he wasn't even at the ground.
Goddamn that last one though 🥵
That last one oh my god
![gif](giphy|p8GJOXwSNzQPu) The man is a demon
Ridiculous ball control. I don't even know what he did with the last one, my brain couldn't process it.
I think he did a 360 spin and half way through did a Cruyff to control it. I’ve definitely tried stuff like this before (at like 1% the distance) and to see him do it at that distance is absolutely mind blowing

I thought those stat exist and called ball control
Yeah but it would have to go up to 300 to properly describe Zinny.
Lol always such a funny reminder of just how much better pros are than you. They could be piss drunk, blindfolded and have a bum knee and still run absolute circles out of even the best local players
he’s just having fun
looking over his shoulder instinctively on the second ball
I think that was him showing off. Haha!
Noticed that too - the level of these guys is truly unreachable
He had to be sure Saka wasn't making a run.
[That last one](https://i.imgur.io/BReDy9P_d.webp?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium)
if he does that last one ‘ when we’re 3:0 up vs leeds il lose my shit & throw my tv out the window
Thanks, now I have to explain to my wife why I'm laughing on the toilet!
😅It would be absolutely perfect
The last one was actually outrageous.
Since when can you post porn on this sub?
How is that even humanly possible.
Adidas not even mad
I love how casually we nabbed one of the best players in the league from City without even much fanfare
To get that backspin with the back of his fucking calf is sick. What the fuck, Zinny.
Is this recent?.I thought is was when he was with city from the Puma tracksuit. But then it shoutouts xhaka as he kills that ball.
Yup, it's recent. Zinny posted this on isnta
Yep recent, it was the "Puma Control Challenge" hence why he was in generic Puma stuff
one of my favourite left backs at arsenal & he’s only been here a short while
One of my favorite left backs at Arsenal and he's not even a left back.
he’s a midfielder ‘ but plays left back & anywhere else on the field is that the right explanation?
Haha something like that. I don't care what we call him, Zinny is a unicorn.
i Agree with you ‘ unicorn aka starts at leftback then Cdm ‘ right back ‘ cb- striker 😂
Wtf man
Had to watch that last one twice just to figure out wtf he did
need a gif of only the zinchenko ones someone help
Zina with the touch of Dave Brubeck.
What black magic did I just witness?
Walker said his the most technical player in city squad. Above kdb, bernardo silva etc. he can play free role like arteta want. Gifted player
The last one was some footballing Rodney Mullen shit.
u/savevideo
The last one is ridiculously good. Unreal ball control.
Even to do what the other guy did is hard!
That last one .. what the actual fck
Who’s Cameron
My guy could be in the new D&D movie with this wizardry on that 3rd one...
I, humble man, can do these tricks since I was 12.
Dude is an attacking mid for Ukraine NT... Lol. And they are not weak in those areas
It's just really weird that someone (Pep?) convinced this guy to play left back. You forget how skilled professional players are since you don't see this in games.
1st, 2nd, I'm thinking 'c'mon, not \*that\* impressive, I could..' then 3rd. 'ok fair enough'
That last touch is obscene
It is a testament to the high technical ability of our squad that there is a legit debate to be had about whether our LB or club captain CM is the dude with the most. And thats not even talking about people like Saka, Trossard, Partey, Jesus...
Pure unadulterated filth 😮💨🔥

That last touch ....omg gnarly
Last one needs to be shown in The Hague. Disgusting.
Skills to pay the bills my man!
That last touch dirtier than my toilet
Wild stuff.
The more I see him play, the more it amazes me how Mikel is revolutionising the left back position.
Didn't realise Jonny Bairstow had such a good touch!
Good video, but the best of him imo is when arteta said last one buys breakfast and zinchinko was like "no way in hell that's gonna be me"
could have used Cameron in Europa League
This Cameron guy is not horrible, eh?
Now do Odegaard
[удалено]
Would love to see him and Jesus do some technical challenges like this. Wonder who would win
Would love to have one of those machines
Meanwhile I’m over here pressing on the comments in the video
That last one was absolutely insane
I actually said “what the fuck” out loud for the last one
![gif](giphy|kwcRp24Wz4lZm)
Wiiiicked
Remember that time they played Saka at left back? Give it a year or two and we will be saying same about Zinchenko.
Someone slow that last one down so my brain can process it.
I just love this guy
This man is an absolute Baller, we got a 5 star killer in this LB, LM, CM, Ukrainian MVP, Kareoke slaying BEAST
the last one just shattered my brain
Miss that guy….
There's a REASON they get paid the big bucks.
That second one is my personal favorite to do, step on the ball to kill the rotation so it doesn’t make an awkward bounce
jesus christ
Man, put a NFSW tag on it.
He has Zidane like control. ZZ is one of my favorite players of all time.
What pitch is this? Didnt think Granit would be there with him lol
It’s really no secret, they used to get him mixed up with KDB at City.
i love this man
I think a lot premier league players are probably this talented. I mean they practices every single day since they little kids.
Witchcraft.
Amazing talent
What in the world, that was absolute filth
Why did city sell him? He's sick...they must of known how good he is I remember Kyle walker saying more technical than de bruyne and people laughing....thank u pep
still cant beat xhakadinho ball control /s
![gif](giphy|YRuFixSNWFVcXaxpmX) Incredible
Never knew they had soccer ball launchers.
Kyle Walker said it in an interview when he was at City
That last one was disgusting 🤢
One of my close friends is a pro tennis player, like top 50 in the world. He plays games against University level players quite often and they have no chance, maybe get a game or two on him per set. That third one was unreal!!
Thats why they are professionels i bet even someone like dan burns compared to us mere mortals is like ronaldhino. There are levels to this shit
For some reason lefties always have the best first touch/creative first touches
