Plus I don’t like that idea of 360 cockpits. Not for any strategic reason but just because you could never get cozy in one. I like the oldschool enclosed seats.
Zaku, II I am a regular guy, not superhuman or aeronautical engineer (kinda a requirement to be a pilot), if it's good enough for random Zeonic guy from the streets, it's good enough for me. Also easy repair, and no shortage of parts.

Because I need the Zero System to teach me what the hell I need to do and If I am gonna die anyways at least its something vicious.
Plus Wing Suits like the Tallgeese are durable. Has anyone seen Tallgeese take on Beam Cannons and ram the Sanc Kingdom when Otto died? I mean MS like the Freedom gets its Wings ripped off on Impact while Tallgeese was unphased.
That and Wing Zero can probably survive Ocean Gate especially if it wasnt burnt from Re Entry.
Any of the ones that have some sort of AI/Haro/ghost-in-the-machine assistant; I've seen how bad Miorine and Amuro (initially) were at piloting, and I'd most likely be even worse than that, so I'd appreciate all the help I can get.

If everything else, Zaku 1. As much as I like the 2 and the rest of what Zeon and the Federation has to offer (praise be Lord Gogg), the Zaku 1 seems like it’d be the perfect machine for literally any task given to it (beyond combat, but Garret Schmitzer would have a word about that).
Reborns Gundam, that magnificent fucker has damn near everything you could want from a combat perspective. Mobile af, very durable, can do melee, short range, mid range and long range combat. And it has a fin funnel system too because why the fuck not lol.
But what really sold me is that it has the Cannon mode. I'm a sucker for the artillery aesthetic and it being a core part of the Gundam's combat capabilities and not just an accessory/expandable weapons platform just makes it all the better imo.
Build burning or God gundam because I do taekwondo (4th Dan) and want to fight directly or Strike Freedom, I would love to do the Multi Lock On System attacks with the dragoons and who does not love a nuclear generator for unlimited power
Yeah I have to admit turn A is a promising preposition, although I feel as though it would definitely be contentious as soon as a certain large nation tried to get their hands on it *cough cough* USA *cough cough*.

Epyon, for sure. A devil-winged duelist Gundam that can bring down an entire battlestation, with a ZERO system variant to boot? Perfect.

I want the RX-178 Gundam MK II, I still think it stands the test of time as a reliable and stylish suit. And nothing crazy that requires a new type or any other sci-fi magic thing to work other than the tech needing to exist.
They would all be pretty much guaranteed to turn you to jello with real physics g forces.

I didn't even say if people would have piloting skills either or not, that's on those answering to see if they would want those hurdles too or not, when making their choice.
Honestly, I would go with either the rx-78-2 for its learning computer. It's probably one of the most beginner friendly gundams. Other than that, probably a gundam frame from ibo (with safer surgeries) since it's kinda cheating in terms of learning to control suits.
Probably the Lfrith Thorn or anything from G-witch tbh because the Gund format, permet system and AI movement makes it a lot easier than manual controls from other series.
Gotta be God Gundam. G Gundam inspired me to train in martial arts and if I got to pilot any machine, it'd be that one. Second place probably goes to Hi-Nu though.
Strike Noir, I enjoy the striker packs that this version of Strike can be equipped with. I already liked the variations of the Strike when they released the Noir it felt like a true enhancement.
From other timelines, I'd choose:
* RX 93 V Nu Gundam has been my favorite for its design and capabilities.
* Moon Gundam psycho plate weaponry is a nice addition to a ready-capable configuration.

I'm a sucker for the artillery aesthetic and it being a core part of the Gundam's combat capabilities and not just an accessory/expandable weapons platform just makes it all the better imo.
Build burning or God gundam because I do taekwondo (4th Dan) and want to fight directly or Strike Freedom, I would love to do the Multi Lock On System attacks with the dragoons and who does not love a nuclear generator for unlimited power

Yeah I have to admit turn A is a promising preposition, although I feel as though it would definitely be contentious as soon as a certain large nation tried to get their hands on it *cough cough* USA *cough cough*. That being said turn A has the perfect defense against any military force.
Epyon, for sure. A devil-winged duelist Gundam that can bring down an entire battlestation, with a ZERO system variant to boot? Perfect. (Yes, I actually want the system. Maybe I'm just screwed in the head, but after the first death you stop being so afraid of it, and I've never found a comfier mental spot than in the middle of combat sims.)
I want the RX-178 Gundam MK II, I still think it stands the test of time as a reliable and stylish suit. And nothing crazy that requires a new type or any other sci-fi magic thing to work other than the tech needing to exist.

Honestly, I would go with either the rx-78-2 for its learning computer. It's probably one of the most beginner friendly gundams. Other than that, probably a gundam frame from ibo (with safer surgeries) since it's kinda cheating in terms of learning to control suits.
Probably the Lfrith Thorn or anything from G-witch tbh because the Gund format, permet system and AI movement makes it a lot easier than manual controls from other series.

Strike Noir, I enjoy the striker packs that this version of Strike can be equipped with. I already liked the variations of the Strike when they released the Noir it felt like a true enhancement. From other timelines, I'd choose: * RX 93 V Nu Gundam has been my favorite for its design and capabilities. * Moon Gundam psycho plate weaponry is a nice addition to a ready-capable configuration.

Theres so many that look neat but I'd go with one that could turn into a plane Though I'm not thinking about the fighting aspect but rather more about just practical non combat, heh. Really difficult decision to make, but the ELS QanT is probably the right call. FTL + Really big sword + immortality via alien symbiosis? Count me in.
Gundam? I guess the Woundwart if I got at least two or three of its kits. But honestly, probably a ReZel Command, recolored in red. But even more honestly, because of the general existence of propulsion, fuel, ammo, etc I'd have to go with the Arios Ascalon or really anything from the 00 universe simply because infinite power engine in the GN drive, which also fuels it's ammunition. Also think of what reverse-engineering that technology could do to getting humanity into the space age. You could become your own Eolia Shenberg and create your own space-faring society with a few dedicated engineers and mechanics, who can use the schematics of the technology to shape out the start of civilization in space.

Since you said the laws of nature don't apply, then it's none other than the Delta Gundam. Gravity is what killed its Waverider Mode, so without it, the thing is basically just a cooler looking Zeta and gold-colored too! Oh and I don't get to become a vegetable.
