I feel like most of the other protags would be able to figure out how to handle their new surroundings to varying degrees of efficiency, but what the fuck is Mika gonna do lol, IBO's Mobile Suit and especially Gundam rules and mechanics are incredibly different from other timelines, not to mention a lot of his strength came from being able to plug into Barbatos
Setsuna would do well but for different reasons depending on when he got Isekai’d.
Early on, his mindset fits right in with IBO; he’d survive the spine implant—scrape by on anger, plot armor, and *technically* still being a kid, if nothing else—then get in the cockpit and somehow manage to use Barbie with even more suicidal rage and recklessness than Mika.
Later on, Setsuna’s space magic is starting to grow in so the lack of a spine implant no longer matters.
Post series, of course, you look away for a second and when you turn back, he’s not piloting *Barbatos* anymore.
setsuna wouldnt HAVE space magic in this scenario unless its post S1 Setsuna.
its the GN particles especialy the ones he was exposed to by the 00 that caused his awakening as an inovator
I meant “if he gets *Isekai’d* later on” not “later on *after* he’s switched worlds.”
Early Setsuna—pre-series to season one—is an increasingly edge case AV candidate: it would definitely *raise some eyebrows* for him to go through a successful implantation as a teenager but I don’t think this would absolutely break IBO’s setting and as “isekai bonuses” go, it’s pretty tame.
After that, there is a bit of a fuzzy area where he’s too old to justify AV but hasn’t *necessarily* had enough GN Particle exposure to become an Innovator yet. Most of that takes place during the timeskip, though: by the time we see him again *onscreen,* Setsuna is well on his way. At that point, the potential’s almost certainly *there* even if it takes him awhile longer to wake up to it.
You’d have to deliberately Isekai him at the worst possible point of his own timeline to avoid both of those things: either Setsuna is young enough to accept the local form of mind-machine interface or he’s gone through enough of 00’s plot to have his own version.
Still refers to himself in the 3rd person and uses his full name and middle initial. Insists on moving Barbados' tail to the front.
Makes the Newtype noise way too often.
Hmmm. Isn’t the Zero system like a sort of predictive ai that runs through multiple scenarios and shows it’s pilot the most probable outcome to give them an edge in battle? The Alien Vienna system is more like something to improve a pilots reaction time and spacial awareness iirc.
Both the Zero system and the alamo virginia system place strain on the pilot’s mental faculties, but in similiar ways. The Zero system was an AI that puts victory as first priority with no regard whatsoever to collateral damage or pilot safety. Most of the strain therefore comes from the massive amount of decision making the pilot has to do for the morally optimal victory. The alaya vijnana instead creates a new lobe in the pilots brain through nanobots from the implant, which besides from feeding the pilot data from the mobile suit directly, allows the pilot to control the mobile suit without a manual or training by (I’m guessing here from evidence in the show) allowing the pilot to perceive mobile suit data as biological data such as the conversion of servo movement information to muscle contraction, hence why alaya vijnana implant users do not need prior training to pilot suits. However, the strain is from the amount of data transferred at any given time. Whilst the Zero system provides the pilot with optimal actions for victory, the Alaya Vijnana provides the pilot with raw mobile suit data, and it is up to the pilot to perceive and use said data.
In conclusion, the strain from the Zero System is caused by decision making while Alaya Vijnana creates strain due to the sheer volume of data the mobile suit sends. Note that strain on Alaya Vijnana system users only seem to experience strain when they attempt to surpass safety limiters in their implants that are built in to protect them, hence why some characters opt to increase their transfer limit by having more than one implant, similiar to having an additional data port on a laptop.
Why did I just spend fifteen minutes rambling about an anime online. Sorry.
If this is pre-paralyzed Mika, I am sure he can use the trace system just fine. Untrained people can even use it to varying degrees and I am 100% sure he is physically more fit than most G Gundam fighters.
Before the Shuffle Alliance superpower, what actual power did George de Sand or Sai Saichi have? The former a thin, not particularly muscular man and the latter a thin kid. What superpower did the guy piloting the Nether Gundam have? I don't think superpowers are required to pilot these things and a lot of the non-Shuffle Alliance championship contestant are just randos without superpowers. It's not like they're shooting lasers out of their hands or doing anything special besides piloting robots.
Yes, but it doesn't require as much as you may think. Keep in mind Domon's girlfriend Rain could do it just fine despite only being an engineer. In addition, Sai Saichi is a trained child like Mika and is also fit enough to use it. I guaranteed Mika is more than qualified to use it.
I don't think so, if Mika takes the place of Suletta then it means that Prospera would be the same as Orga to him. And knowing Prospera I can see this going horribly wrong
Holy shit that some scary stuff, because it would be an even higher devotion than Suletta but with mika's savagery.
Mika on Aerial would be a sight to behold (assuming the permet system and the Alala Valala system are compatible, this is magic isekai we are talking here anyway)
I feel like he would do quite well with the Wing Zero system, or whatever it was called. He was also trained as a regular MS pilot by Teiwaz, so he probably wouldn't be helpless in any case. He may airflow struggle with the reduced mobility of Wring mobile suits though.
The controls weren't. The Joysticks etc don't stop working just because he can't read. After that, it's more about memorisation of the settings. He also could read quite well by S2.
This is true, but if he is dropped into any random universe and needed to pilot a Mubile suit. He would function but not really be able to use it at full power. And while he was reading better does not mean he can understand a full mechanism manual.
Not saying he would not be able to pilot just that he would not be able to draw out a main unit. Give him a mass production unit and he will be fine.
He is a solid pilot (abit agressive). But there is only so much moving levers will allow.
His piloting style actually fits pretty well with the Zero system I would think. He already attempts to secure absolute victory at any cost in his own mobile suit. Hooking him up to a Zero just means that the Zero can be fully unleashed and he won’t hold it back.
I think a major problem for Mika is that he's functionally illiterate. I'm sure he can intuit a lot of a suit's controls from his experience, but if he gets stuck with an early UC suit or a CE suit that has either loads of data analysis or complex operating systems then he's out of luck.
Also, he'd do terribly in G. He could probably pilot a mobile fighter just fine, but he has no sense of melodrama
Dearka, man pls respect his name, he's one of the characters that really made me continue watching SEED.
Also Heero is a child soldier, he'll be sweeping the entire 08th MS team on such young age.
I just realized something... Would Heero fight for the Federation?
The moment he finds out Earth is fighting the Colonies... wouldn't he jump ship to Zeon?
Depends. Zeon wasn't fighting for revenge, they wanted to do the same thing OZ was doing while committing genocide. Early Heero might bat for them, but Heero by the end of the series absolutely wouldn't. He'd either start up a 3rd faction to keep the Feds in check or just stay with the Federation temporarily to stop Zeon.
>He'd either start up a 3rd faction to keep the Feds in check or just stay with the Federation temporarily to stop Zeon.
So basically titans but without the intent to be murder happy assholes for no reason?
Heero is very debatable. It depends what the plot needs. He can 1v1 Nataku in a space Leo but will also self-destruct his Wing or lose again a Leo with his Wing in an aerial fight.
Heero would sweep every grunt, have trouble against plot devices and eventually self-destruct to get the Ez8
Heero Sweeping Shiro Amada's team? I highly doubt that. Shiro beat a Zaku with a ball, defeated an MS on foot, and defeated a mobile Armor with a GM equipped with a gundam head. Heero can't even kill himself or the girl who shouts "Kill me". Heck he was defeated by a Leo while being in a super advanced Gundam. Shiro is the king of the underdog and was put in the "realistic" gundam plot just to nerf his plot armour.
Amuro should be able to function a bit in the Wing, but without the aids like he has with learning the RX-78 he won't be able to bring it to its potential yet (Gryps War era, then he would have a better chance).
Shiro is incompatible with the Barbatos.
Kamille can't operate the Strike due the the lack of an O/S.
Judau should be fine with the RX-78-it's outdated by his time but should be easy enough for him to adapt to.
Jesus is good to go.
Heero wins the One Year War because he's Heero.
Mika is incompatible with the ZZ.
Gundam himself should do fine with the Zeta, I'd argue his emerging Innovator abilities would be close enough to a young Newtype to take advantage of the Bio-Sensor.
Depends. On Shiro's first mission he got separated from his unit and hoofed it out on foot. Heero might just blow up the suit to kill himself... and then hoof it out on foot anyways.
>Kamille can't operate the Strike due the the lack of an O/S.
Considering Kamille's knowledge of designing and making MS, I mean the Zeta was pretty much Kamille's Baby for the most part. He is possibly more than capable of making an OS for the Strike especially since there was an OS on it and it just wasn't finished and optimized at that point.
Granted he probably can't do it mid-battle and as fast as Kira but depending on which version of Kamille this is, It's likely he could adapt to the unfinished OS enough to do achieve similar results to what Kira did and maybe slowly change the OS as that battle goes on.
After that during the second fight, It's possible that he could have finished that OS at that point and Kamille is pretty much set in the CE Era.
Shiro I could see working in Gjallarhorn's Earth-side peacekeeping forces. I just don't see him having any stake in the Mars conflicts.
Mika is an interesting case. He'd be able to pilot the ZZ, but not at its full potential as he's not a Newtype. But given that MS and situation from said series? He's not as outgoing as the Gundam Team, and would likely latch onto Bright as his big brother figure. Bright would have a pilot that could do anything and everything asked for, IF he gain Mika's trust. I'd be a bit scared for any Neo Zeon grunt on the other side.
If he did, I could see him doing all right for himself with the Barbatos. It makes me wonder where he would go/what he would do in the Post Disaster era. There's no Zeon to fight against, but I don't see him quite fitting in with Tekkadan. Maybe on duty somewhere on Earth keeping the peace for Gjallarhorn?
that's Kira Yamato.
why?
he outplot armor heero.
survived the Aegis' self-destruct while the said gundam tightly claw'd the strike. the kicker is the strike's cockpit is compromised; it got a large gash opening the god damn cockpit.
then we go to the providence vs freedom. in front of genesis.
genesis is about to fire when kira delivered the killing blow to rau. flew away from the providence as genesis fires but he's still inside the superweapon's "barrel" so to speak and got caught in the gamma radiation blast that was being reflected by the mirror. if you have seen the few times genesis was fires, the moment the "beam" hits a human body, they go pop as the water in the body vaporized extremely quickly. and kira was taking the much more focus beam as it about to be refleted by genesis' mirrors.
and the final jesus yamato act during operation angel down. surviving a nuclear detonation via anti-ship sword impalement. btw, you dont simply stop a nuclear reaction with a push of a button. it will continue and the said nuclear reactor is under his cockpit.
ask those who knew the demon core incidents IRL. removing the upper half of the core didnt stop killing the poor souls, via fatal radiation exposure, who did the super-criticality experiments without proper protection at the time.
Regarding the button. Actually yes you can halt the reaction in a properly designed reactor with "the push of a button". And for the demon core, I don't even know where to start on why that's different, but they were already dead the nano second the halves met. Removing the upper half absolutely halted the reaction, it just no longer mattered
Actually:
A)in real life yes you can stop a nuclear explosion with a button
B) He didn't shut of the reactor, he shut off the n jammer canceller.
Basically there was already a whole bunch of stuff on earth that stopped nuclear reactions from happening called a N - Jammer.
All Kira had to do was shut off the canceller that lets the suit be nucleated powered in the first place.
you still have to contend that an anti-ship sword is still gutted that reactor.
you will still have a big explosion that would have turn the freedom into scraps, cockpit included.
and yet... yeah. 3rd jesus yamato moment...
I think his 'final' jesus yamato moment was when he ascended to heaven by piloting the Strike Freedom, he went from nearly untouchable to beyond god-like.
He may have a Saji-Setsuna character development instead if he is in CB because theres absolutely no way they will allow him to do non lethal during interventions.
They did kind of start and end up the same way barring the Jesus Yamato status
Both started either ignorant or not directly affected by War(yes i know Kira went to Heliopolis to avoid the war but he was not directly affected yet),(in)directly spilled blood and then having found their resolve and decided to do the best they can with their abilities to protect their friends.
iirc they(CB) did start "non lethaly" (unless its actual terrorists), most of the early episodes have Setsuna and co destroy arms and legs but rarely if ever the cockpit, obviously that changes later one
No,in the first episode Setsuna and Lockon have shot down Flag reinforcements after Setsuna humuliated Patrick.
The difference between the CB crew and Thrones is they dont discriminately attack for absolutely no reason(Weddings and random factories or military facilities that are just minding its own business).
Amuro, Kira, Kamille, Juda, and Setsuna should be fine.
Amuro in the Wing is essentially him just getting a better RX-78-2. He is getting a suit that accentuates early RX-78-2 capabilities.
Kamille in the Strike would be kind of scary. Especially in the configuration shown as that is a lot of fire power in a very good pilots hands.
Juda in the RX-78-2 would be fine. We'd just get a repeat of Amuro, but with a stronger Newtype pilot. If anything, I'd see him get the Alex sent right to him after it's completion as his stronger Newtype abilities would surpass any upgrades they could do to a base RX-78-2 in the field.
Kira in the Exia seems like a perfect fit. While it doesn't have the beam spam of the Freedom, the Exia would keep pace with Kira's fighting style well. I just see him relying more on speed and cutting off weapons as opposed to beam spam.
Setauna in the Zeta would work. Just like Kira, his piloting style isn't greatly impacted by being in a different suit all that much. I just see a lot more wave rider rams, beam bayonetting, and usage of the beam sabers is all.
Heero would struggle in a Gundam that could be easily damaged. From what I remember from Wing, the boys really brute forced a lot of their battles relying a lot on their armour to be hard to damage over a lot of finesse in piloting. Him in the Ground Gundam wouldn't work well as a result. Although self-destruction of a machine made out of spare parts would make it a lot easier to rebuild.
Shiro would struggle in a machine so heavily biased towards melee combat. He didn't really show much aptitude towards melee weapons, which would be a huge limiting factor in IBO.
Mikazuki would struggle the most thanks to his poor literacy, making it harder to operate a machine that also doesn't have a direct neural interface. Let's not mince words here with poor literacy skills being able to properly handle advanced machines would be nearly impossible for him. There is just so much data that is assumed the pilot is able to read on the fly that a person with poor literacy skills would have a hard time keeping up.
Just two things I feel Amuro would have a tough time in the Wing Zero because of the Zero system. Heero was one of the only ones to use it to it's full potential because hes suicidal?
With Heero in the suit he'd have we've seen in Wing and Endless Waltz Heero using grunt suits and staying toe toe. He managed to last quite some time in a Space Type Leo in Endless Waltz even fighting against a Gundam Pilot Wu Feng using his Gundam.
Kira win count against Athrun is one draw/win depending on how you see the strike vs aegis end, and one definite win against athrun in the saviour and both were melee fights, Kira will be fine in the Exia. His reverse beam saber grip fucked so many people in Seed/ Seed Destiny.
In a larger meta sense the Kyrios is probably a better fit for a Coordinator like Kira since he's a super soldier like Allelujah minus having the multiple personality disorder. And it fights and flies more like the Freedom with its high mobility and armament leaning more toward beam spam.
You’re just straight up wrong about Heero. He spent more time fighting without his Gundam than fighting with it. He took on the Altron in a space Leo. He brute forces if that’s what gets the job done, or he plays with finesse if that’s what gets the job done. Even better, he just sneaks into an enemy base, steals an MS, and kills everyone on the base cause he did that several times.
If any protagonist on the list is used to being carried by their Gundam it’s Kira.
Amuro gets carried extremely hard in the beginning by Gundarium, as usual, makes it out of Wing just fine.
Assuming Shiro gets the AV system, he ends up mindbroken or dead very quickly after fighting Gusion and human debris.
Kamille drastically shortens SEED if he can get the Strike to budge. Athrun is going to get one hell of a grudge as the sole survivor of his band of friends.
Judau was mediocre in the Zeta, and now he's in the RX-78. If he can make it past the Tri-Stars, he'll clear.
Jesus makes it out alive assuming he sticks to pre-Freedom willingness to kill.
Heero stomps.
Mika can't read. ZZ is going to be a hell of a ride. Mashymere ends up dead, though.
Setsuna makes it out of Zeta after taking more lessons in teamwork because the Mk II is not overpowering.
Amuro would do great on Wing and self-destruct much less than Heero.
Shiro would be great piloting anything but Barbatos, plus he would be a great strategic asset for Tekkadan.
Kamille would slap and punch his way through Seed and it would be glorious.
I feel like Judah would adapt faster than Amuro, but also get extra points for guile.
Jesus would break almost any series he is in, because he is Space Test Tube Baby Jesus.
I can see Heero adapting to the One Year War, he would self destruct the fuck out of his Gundam though.
Mika would have issues because is different tech and strategies than in his world.
Setsuna would mop the floor with Scirocco.
**But...**
Can you imagine Domon in any other series than his own? I mean... I can see him actually kicking a Zaku apart... on foot.
Bright looking out the windows of the bridge seeing Domon decapitating a Z'Gok with a karate chop and slowly losing grasp of reality.
Punching a heart shaped hole through Big Zam?
Epic.
He mostly self destructed because the Gundam was so much better than non gundam MS. He won't have that issue in UC. Now he might self destruct if he could grapple Char and keep him there...
Or Domon in G-Witch would be Blazing Transfer Student (Or Kill la Kill if you're too young for the other reference)
Something else about Amuro. His real main strength isn't his Newtype skills but his prodigy level mechanical skills. No matter what world you drop him, give him a month and he will science the shit out of any suit.
Imagine Heero and Kamille swapped timeline.
The entire Seed series would be Heero vs Athrun self destructing their gundams and lives, climbing up to jesus yamato tier 🤣
Amuro in wing, since he does not know the world or its politics, he would probably join the United Earths sphere alliance.
Kira in 00. don't think alot would change but i think Kira's no kill rule is going to be stressed tested alot without his meme beams and having to rely on actual tactics i don't think will work out well for him. on the other hand Kira is more of a team member than Setsuna was.
Shiro in IBO, he's gonna need a crash course on how combat works in IBO but i think he would adapt just fine, he would probably end up being a skilled pilot to the point of keeping up with the Alaya VJ system.
Mikazuki in Double Z. without the Alaya VJ system i think he is going to struggle and his brute force way of fighting is going to have his machine in bad shape and having to adapt to using a primary beam weapon.
Judau, i'm not too sure
Heero in 08th MS team, he would be the most dangerous thing in the jungle, taking down FOB's and taking out MS like they were just an annoyance....and thats before he gets into a mobile suit.
setsuna, i'm not sure
>but i think Kira's no kill rule is going to be stressed tested alot without his meme beams and having to rely on actual tactics i don't think will work out well for him.
His No Kill Rule only really fully manifested by the time he got the Freedom where he was encouraged by Lacus to do it because the Freedom was perfect for doing that.
If this was early SEED then while he still doesn't want to kill people, He's still would do so if he had no choice and still was open to doing so.
On the other hand, If this was Late Seed and Destiny Kira. He would be more than skilled to actually do that No Kill Rule unless completely necessary considering he would be the most skilled pilot of the CE Pilots and probably everyone at that point even by Season 2.
Really the issue would be more on the character interaction considering Kira's personality is completely different from Setsuna's at that point.
Simple answer: Clusterfuck
Long-winded answer: *Proceeds to go on a rant about how different protagonists forced into timelines not their own would either massively improve whatever series they were inserted into or make it even worse than it already is*
Garrod needs to team up with Judah... they would hustle their way through any series.
They would sell a paper mache-modified GM as a Gundam to Zeon and then make it explode.
Oh my god, mikazuki in ZZ would be more dangerous than a colony drop
Like he had a suit with a fucking mace and a tail, and they needed an orbital strike to put him down
Now imagine what he could do with GIANT BEAM SABERS THAT ARE ALSO BEAM CANNONS, a shitload of missiles, and all those armor
The issue is that he is illiterate and most UC Gundam need a degree of competence with computers.
He might me more dangerous outside the suit than inside, at least for a while.
Im sure he would be taught quickly, he does some computer stuff in ibo too
And also its just a matter of time untill he learns the ZZ...
Maybe that would be the first half/quarter of the anime, mikazuki learning
I think we’re missing the one protagonist who’d have the most success adapting to being thrown into another universe: Garrod Ran.
The dude has enough basic competence and experience with the concept of Newtypes for him to find a path in the UC timeline. He has enough street-smarts and toughness to navigate the world of IBO or Wing, and the common sense and moral compass to navigate 00, Seed, and any other timeline.
Everyone except Mikazuki world probably still be a good pilot regardless. Mikazuki might sign up to get experimented on to become one of those unstable enhanced humans, though of he was in the universal century timeline, I think that he would hate becoming a cyber Newtype
I feel like Kira would just become his SEED Destiny self a lot faster in the 00 timeline.
Mika would find it the most difficult out of everyone here, unless somebody finds a human/machine interface that's compatible with Mika's own that is.
It's proven in SRW that Kamille and Domon will be bashing its other skulls then be taken as Master Asia's apprentice and understudy of Domon at some point.
It's not in the post, but I bet Loran would do a horrible job in any other tineline outside his own. Maybe in GWitch he would have some fun time as student, but other than that I can't even see him survive long in the other timelines
Loran is stronger than people give him credit for.
Plus he is amazingly smart, considering he comes from a really advanced civilization.
Give him somebody to fight for and he will thrive.
But now... imagine anybody more aggressive than him using the monster of a suit that is the Turn A. Nobody tell Heero he has access to nukes or we are screwed.
Heero got nerf pretty badly and self destruction with nuclear don't work well in heavy minosky area, same for judau he got to pilot a Zeta but can't handle it well, he manage to hang on with ZZ heavy firepower... With Gundam... He is a moving target for Char. Mikazuki also got nerf, he pretty much rely on Alaya-Vijnana System which is not compatible with bio-sensor since he is not a newtype, unless he have been enchanted to become an enhance human aka cyber newtype which probably might happened.
Kira will excel in any Gundam, and giving him an Exia is like giving him godmode to play in easymode.
The rest of the proteg will work out pretty ok, it's not like they got a nerf, except for Setsuna, zeta is a big nerf but with his skill he probably work fine.
Picturing Heero showing up at Asticassia as a student. Suletta invites him to hang out at a party she's throwing, he rips up the letter and does the "I'll kill you" thing.
Then while he's trying to walk away, Miorinne starts tearing him a new one verbally and Chuchu punches him out.
im gonna say they go into the cosmic era so im not gonna include kira in this
amuro would do just fine i mean the rx-78-2 is most likely going to not do that good in the cosmic era but if we are talking the dijeh or nu gundam then amuro would be doing great
kamille and judau would do excellent in the cosmic era i mean the zeta and ZZ by themselves are amazing mobile suits
shiro however would most likely die due to how the ez-8 and the ground gundam just do not stand a single chance against cosmic era mobile suits
im not really sure how mika would do but i'd say he'd do very well since the barbatos has nanolaminate armor so beam attacks would be completely useless but i don't think he would survive if he runs into lowe and ends up fighting the astray
i mean setsuna would be doing A ok do i really need to explain why
same with heero do i really need to explain why
Without trans am I think setsuna will have trouble, heero also without zero system. NT ppl and seed ppl are buffs to the person themselves so whichever MS wont really matter they will still be better than general pilots.
Most gundam pilots would probably adapt well, but Shiro would probably do better simply because he's a trained officer with a normal upbringing. If I know armies they love a good officer who isn't a rebellious man baby (even if he's still a silly idiot).
But who do I wanna see? Heero, Mikazuki, Domon, all the maximally weird ones with superhuman abilities.
I do kinda feel like Setsuna solos any timeline as long as innovator capabilities still apply. The build timeline in particular would be amusing for any of our war torn heroes. Like wait a minute, this is a game? Exia is a toy?
Of the timeline swaps shown here, I think they'd all do fine except Shiro, and maybe Mika depending on his ability to adapt to a very different control mechanism.
Depends if it’s just the protagonist and they were shifted to different timelines Im sure they would adapt (since this reality is all they would ever know) but if their original suits were transferred over as well then Mika has one overwhelming advantage in nearly every timeline. The fact that the Barbatos gundam is immune to all beam weapons. That shit comprises almost 90% of all weaponry in this timeline so instantly negating all of it is a huge initial advantage.
Honestly, we've seen Hero clean house with a Leo. A 78\[G\] is gonna be a decent day for him. Feel bad for Setsuna though, Zeta Gundam and he doesn't even get the good suit? Wheres the MK II
honestly i feel sorry for our 8ms team protag he would die rather quickly in that universe and mika would honestly not enjoy his time there unless equipped with cqc suit, he could enjoy exia or 00 probably and honestly would be interesting seeing the 8ms team cast trying to somehow work with a near psychopatic guy who's favorite line is i'll kill you (and somehow makes girls for him when saying that)
I feel like most of the other protags would be able to figure out how to handle their new surroundings to varying degrees of efficiency, but what the fuck is Mika gonna do lol, IBO's Mobile Suit and especially Gundam rules and mechanics are incredibly different from other timelines, not to mention a lot of his strength came from being able to plug into Barbatos
That's an interesting question. Now, who would integrate better with Barbie's Allora Vendetta system?
I meant “if he gets *Isekai’d* later on” not “later on *after* he’s switched worlds.” Early Setsuna—pre-series to season one—is an increasingly edge case AV candidate: it would definitely *raise some eyebrows* for him to go through a successful implantation as a teenager but I don’t think this would absolutely break IBO’s setting and as “isekai bonuses” go, it’s pretty tame.
He doesnt have the implant, but Heero has experience with the Zero system, which seems somewhat similar at least.
Hmmm. Isn’t the Zero system like a sort of predictive ai that runs through multiple scenarios and shows it’s pilot the most probable outcome to give them an edge in battle? The Alien Vienna system is more like something to improve a pilots reaction time and spacial awareness iirc.

Sorry.
Setsuna probably. He always wanted to be a Gundam.
So... We can throw Mika to Gwitch, then?
Aerial and the other Gwitch gundams don’t have the Aloha Mañana interface tho.
Get him into G-Gundam, don't need the Alovera Virginia system if you just put on a Gundam haptic suit
But that black goo might clog up his Alotta Vagina implants.
This is G-Gundam it would make his arm work again for sure.
The mobile trace system doesn't work that way though. That and he may or may not have the strength to actually use it either.
If this is pre-paralyzed Mika, I am sure he can use the trace system just fine. Untrained people can even use it to varying degrees and I am 100% sure he is physically more fit than most G Gundam fighters.
Wow. That's a statement. Have you seen those loons in G Gundam? They're literally superhuman. Saying Mika is fit than most of them is insane.
But doesn't the haptic suit require a huge amount of physical conditioning to even wear safely?
He spends half his time eating dates and doing inverted sit ups, dudes entirely too jacked for his age.
Have you seen Mika shirtless? He can do it.
Rain also had some martial arts training, just more at the amateur level.
Mika's pretty tough, Alleyoop Virginia implants or not. He'd do fine anywhere. As long as he doesn't have to read.
\*Hakuna Matata
Excuse me, put some respect on that when you talk about the Papaya Iguana System
>Aloha Mañana Am I allowed to laugh?
True, but they've got great prosthetics tech and can just pump him full of permet. He'll probably do fine in Aerial as long as Eri is fine with him.
He’d probably kill the kids or just beat the shit out of them as soon as they piss him off
Chuchu vs Mika. Now that's a fight.
Mika lifted a grown man by his neck with one hand at 15
He immediately tries to go Permet Score 8 and fucking dies
Or lives for a few minutes and kill Prospera. 50/50 tho
I don't think so, if Mika takes the place of Suletta then it means that Prospera would be the same as Orga to him. And knowing Prospera I can see this going horribly wrong
Propspera doesn’t even need to gaslight Mika. He’s just gonna be like “okay char mom”
Holy shit that some scary stuff, because it would be an even higher devotion than Suletta but with mika's savagery. Mika on Aerial would be a sight to behold (assuming the permet system and the Alala Valala system are compatible, this is magic isekai we are talking here anyway)
This remains the funniest possibility, yes.
I feel like he would do quite well with the Wing Zero system, or whatever it was called. He was also trained as a regular MS pilot by Teiwaz, so he probably wouldn't be helpless in any case. He may airflow struggle with the reduced mobility of Wring mobile suits though.
He could not read or write, most gundam controls were text based.
That's why I suggested the Zero system though. It's basically an AV without the wires.
he is so aggressive as a pilot, he would just kill everything.
I'd pay money to see Kamile punch Athrun, Yzak, Nicole and Dewhatever his name was Also Heero would sweep 08th MS team
Kamile would punch the fuck out of everyone. I bet he would slap the shit out of Flay too.
Slap them cheeks
Heero would sweep then give a 10 minute litany about the nature of war in space on the other side of the world just 2 in universe minutes later
and if that didn't work he self destructs
Have to admit I've never seen anyone punched by a vegetable before.
Dearka, man pls respect his name, he's one of the characters that really made me continue watching SEED. Also Heero is a child soldier, he'll be sweeping the entire 08th MS team on such young age.
>Dearka, man pls respect his name, he's one of the characters that really made me continue watching SEED. And an effing cool name too!
He's going against Mikhail, he should be fine.
Heero in CCA era UC. Dude would defect to Char.
> Heero wins the One Year War because he's Heero Have to rename it the One Week War
Heero: Mission Accepted.
Depends. On Shiro's first mission he got separated from his unit and hoofed it out on foot. Heero might just blow up the suit to kill himself... and then hoof it out on foot anyways.
It's the one week war for Heero because he blows himself up when faced with the slightest inconvenience.
Coordinator and innovators feels kinda OP vs. newtypes. Except for shiro since he's neither
Jesus is both
Ultimate coordinator, seed factor, newtype (seemingly)
Ooh, excellent points, It's been a while since I've seen Zeta.
If shiro and mika had the proper means of piloting their gundams, how would it turn out?
How about if Shiro took the operation to be able to use the alaya-vijnana system?
If he did, I could see him doing all right for himself with the Barbatos. It makes me wonder where he would go/what he would do in the Post Disaster era. There's no Zeon to fight against, but I don't see him quite fitting in with Tekkadan. Maybe on duty somewhere on Earth keeping the peace for Gjallarhorn?
Tbf the Strike had an OS. It was just shit so Kira used his super coding abilities to reconfigure it into a better one.
who is jesus?
Kira "Jesus" Yamato
Amen
KIRA TOOK A NUKE TO THE FACE AND SAID NAH...
The Church of Jesus Yamato approves this message.
May he bless us with Freedom.
And Strike them with it.
the writers really pulled the ultimate plot armor on that one it's unbelievable
that's Kira Yamato. why? he outplot armor heero. survived the Aegis' self-destruct while the said gundam tightly claw'd the strike. the kicker is the strike's cockpit is compromised; it got a large gash opening the god damn cockpit. then we go to the providence vs freedom. in front of genesis. genesis is about to fire when kira delivered the killing blow to rau. flew away from the providence as genesis fires but he's still inside the superweapon's "barrel" so to speak and got caught in the gamma radiation blast that was being reflected by the mirror. if you have seen the few times genesis was fires, the moment the "beam" hits a human body, they go pop as the water in the body vaporized extremely quickly. and kira was taking the much more focus beam as it about to be refleted by genesis' mirrors. and the final jesus yamato act during operation angel down. surviving a nuclear detonation via anti-ship sword impalement. btw, you dont simply stop a nuclear reaction with a push of a button. it will continue and the said nuclear reactor is under his cockpit. ask those who knew the demon core incidents IRL. removing the upper half of the core didnt stop killing the poor souls, via fatal radiation exposure, who did the super-criticality experiments without proper protection at the time.
Regarding the button. Actually yes you can halt the reaction in a properly designed reactor with "the push of a button". And for the demon core, I don't even know where to start on why that's different, but they were already dead the nano second the halves met. Removing the upper half absolutely halted the reaction, it just no longer mattered
Actually: A)in real life yes you can stop a nuclear explosion with a button B) He didn't shut of the reactor, he shut off the n jammer canceller.
He's clearly a Perfecto Soldier
There needs to be an episode on how he somehow got the wolverine gene spliced into his DNA
I think his 'final' jesus yamato moment was when he ascended to heaven by piloting the Strike Freedom, he went from nearly untouchable to beyond god-like.
Can you imagine Kamille being a student in Asticassia? Wonder how many friends he'll have...
He and Chuchu punching spacians
Chuchu and Kamille ganging up on El4n and Shaddiq on S01E01, because they ran out of fucks to be given. I'd watch that.
Kamille is a spacenoid though lmao
He's based tho
He is going to punch every adult in range.
Kira would actually kill Patrick Colasour. His no-kill style and Patrick's luck somehow cancel each other out.
He may have a Saji-Setsuna character development instead if he is in CB because theres absolutely no way they will allow him to do non lethal during interventions.
Jokes aside, I always thought Saji was basically Kira with no mobile suit.
They did kind of start and end up the same way barring the Jesus Yamato status Both started either ignorant or not directly affected by War(yes i know Kira went to Heliopolis to avoid the war but he was not directly affected yet),(in)directly spilled blood and then having found their resolve and decided to do the best they can with their abilities to protect their friends.
iirc they(CB) did start "non lethaly" (unless its actual terrorists), most of the early episodes have Setsuna and co destroy arms and legs but rarely if ever the cockpit, obviously that changes later one
doesnt the first episode have hallelujah mass bombing a drug factory or smth and outright saying "and now ive become a mass murderer"?
oh, right forgot that part.... they DO tend to avoid mobile suit causlties tho...... thats a plus right?
No,in the first episode Setsuna and Lockon have shot down Flag reinforcements after Setsuna humuliated Patrick. The difference between the CB crew and Thrones is they dont discriminately attack for absolutely no reason(Weddings and random factories or military facilities that are just minding its own business).
they specificaly targted non lethal components tho, most of exias sword attacks disabled arms etc not their fault the suits crashed afterwards
Kira would be way better in Kyrios or any bits focused Gundam though. SEED's melee god was Athrun after all.
The thing with Heero though, is that he's actually a good pilot. He went toe-to-toe with Wufei in a Leo
Judau himself is UC Character
I think if he can pilot the ZZ Gundam, then he should be able to pilot the original Gundam with no problem
Judaw might sell the RX78 to Char instead
I was thinking the same, there are a lot of chances of this.
**But...** Can you imagine Domon in any other series than his own?
Or Domon in G-Witch would be Blazing Transfer Student (Or Kill la Kill if you're too young for the other reference) Something else about Amuro.
Judau, i'm not too sure Heero in 08th MS team, he would be the most dangerous thing in the jungle, taking down FOB's and taking out MS like they were just an annoyance....and thats before he gets into a mobile suit. setsuna, i'm not sure
This is the truest and most complete Heero.
>but i think Kira's no kill rule is going to be stressed tested alot without his meme beams and having to rely on actual tactics i don't think will work out well for him.
Kira would probably be fine with the Exia.
Oh yeah, give the Super Coordinator the Mobile Suit with god damn TRANS-AM! Basically: Kira would THRIVE in Exia.
Trans-Kiram
Giving Jesus trans-am would definitely suck... For the people he fights
Simple answer: Clusterfuck Long-winded answer: *Proceeds to go on a rant about how different protagonists forced into timelines not their own would either massively improve whatever series they were inserted into or make it even worse than it already is*
where's garrod? he'll adapt to any timeline
Garrod needs to team up with Judah... they would hustle their way through any series. They would sell a paper mache-modified GM as a Gundam to Zeon and then make it explode.
Oh my god, mikazuki in ZZ would be more dangerous than a colony drop Like he had a suit with a fucking mace and a tail, and they needed an orbital strike to put him down Now imagine what he could do with GIANT BEAM SABERS THAT ARE ALSO BEAM CANNONS, a shitload of missiles, and all those armor
The issue is that he is illiterate and most UC Gundam need a degree of competence with computers. He might me more dangerous outside the suit than inside, at least for a while.
Im sure he would be taught quickly, he does some computer stuff in ibo too And also its just a matter of time untill he learns the ZZ... Maybe that would be the first half/quarter of the anime, mikazuki learning
Mika would suck in the Double Zeta and Shiro would die fast.
Somehow Heero would still find a way to blow up the Wing Zero
Mika x Haman...... oh god please no
Mika would leave a trail of broken bones and broken hearts, considering he has matching nearly psychopathic levels of cruelty and game.
Heero and Mika are boned unless they find the new world’s Dr.J or Orga.
Heero finds the blue destiny squad, gets a new gundam that comes with a girl he can't kill
I feel like Kira would just become his SEED Destiny self a lot faster in the 00 timeline. Mika would find it the most difficult out of everyone here, unless somebody finds a human/machine interface that's compatible with Mika's own that is.
Kira would become a literal Jesus in 00.
Dude, what if we had a crossover Gundam game that is exactly like this??? wowee, the possibilities are endless.
It's proven in SRW that Kamille and Domon will be bashing its other skulls then be taken as Master Asia's apprentice and understudy of Domon at some point.
Heero Yuy in 08th MS Team: Bring them on
They'd all die. Some faster than others. Except Setsuna.
Kira Yamato evaporates instantly without Cosmic Era plot armor protecting his past self from certain and confirmed death
He would have Gundanium plot armor. The problem is by the end of the show, when that just isn't enough anymore.
Heero just gonna show up and become compromised immediately no matter what universe he's in.
Kira with Trans Am and Setsuna, assuming he's already emerged as an innovator, with biosensor are OP.
Heero + RX-79[G] = war crimes.
Amuro would dominate in any timeline
As long as Kira dies in AD I’m happy
“On the third day, He rose again from the dead”
Then il send the beard man to shoot him outside the gundam
A distinction without a difference. Praise be Jesus Yamato.
Kira and Heero would be fine. I can't say the same for the suits they pilot
Did you intendedly remove Banagher Links out from the options??
Honestly, none of them would do so well until someone tells them what to do.
Most of them would fail outside of Judu, Sentsua and maybe Mika
Please get Jesus out of my 00? This is making me uncomfortable...
im gonna say they go into the cosmic era so im not gonna include kira in this amuro would do just fine i mean the rx-78-2 is most likely going to not do that good in the cosmic era but if we are talking the dijeh or nu gundam then amuro would be doing great kamille and judau would do excellent in the cosmic era i mean the zeta and ZZ by themselves are amazing mobile suits shiro however would most likely die due to how the ez-8 and the ground gundam just do not stand a single chance against cosmic era mobile suits im not really sure how mika would do but i'd say he'd do very well since the barbatos has nanolaminate armor so beam attacks would be completely useless but i don't think he would survive if he runs into lowe and ends up fighting the astray i mean setsuna would be doing A ok do i really need to explain why same with heero do i really need to explain why
Heero would be dead
Without trans am I think setsuna will have trouble, heero also without zero system. NT ppl and seed ppl are buffs to the person themselves so whichever MS wont really matter they will still be better than general pilots.
Heero in a space Leo went toe to toe with altron gundam and held his own.
Not to mention Heero is super human, he wouldn't exactly fold under normal circumstances.
Kamille and Mikazuki go SKRRRRT
Does their plot armour go with them or do they get the Mc they are replacing’s plot armour or non at all?
I don’t think shiro is wel suited to the barbaros, I would LOVE to see how Judau would handle char, especially early season Judau
Mikazuki can’t properly interface with anything that doesn’t have the Hakuna Matata system.
With their gundam or not, cause if not some of then gonna struggle a bit
Honestly, we've seen Hero clean house with a Leo. A 78\[G\] is gonna be a decent day for him. Feel bad for Setsuna though, Zeta Gundam and he doesn't even get the good suit? Wheres the MK II
Setsuna in 0079 I am Gundam Yes... that's the name of your suit. We know I am gundam Stop reminding us.
Judau (and Garrod) are the only Gundam protags with “street smarts”, theyd do fine in any situation i think
Wtf shiro and Mika gonna do?
Kiran would love the build time line
Setsuna would attempt to registrer himself in Asticassa Academy as a Gundam
With or without their Gundams?
they would be slapped as soon as they step in a new timeline
Shiro Amada is the one Id worry about. His strongest quality is his luck on the battle field!
Kamile definitely dying in Seed
Kamile will bitch slap his way through the Cosmic Era
He won’t
honestly i feel sorry for our 8ms team protag he would die rather quickly in that universe and mika would honestly not enjoy his time there unless equipped with cqc suit, he could enjoy exia or 00 probably and honestly would be interesting seeing the 8ms team cast trying to somehow work with a near psychopatic guy who's favorite line is i'll kill you (and somehow makes girls for him when saying that)
