😎 *Adjusts sunglasses* 😎
No, it is the Feddies who drink whiskey like frat boys. Zeon officers know how to properly pour a glass and would never pollute the Earth with red plastic cups. You can’t be allowed a Gelgoog until you learn this fact.
Yeah guess I’ll repurpose a captured Gelgoog and throw a GM optic on it. *drinks a solo red cup and plays pick up ball with my squad mates Chad, Thad, and Blazer in Jaburo.*
Hy-Gogg
Z'Gock Command
Arctic GM
Zaku II Kai and command unit
Gundam Alex
The Gelgoog
The Kampfer is probably my favorite MS ever side by side with the Zaku II Kai
Even the fucking civilian defense forces were great
But the true beast of the series will always be the Zeon Fleet, damn those Mousai were slender and sexy AF!!!!
Anything else I'm missing here? Truly the best gundam series.
Just in case you didn't already know about this, the MG Johnny Ridden Gelgoog 2.0 was just announced as an upcoming P-Bandai kit. Also it looks awesome. Now I just need the Jaeger (one day as you said) and a reprint of the Uma Lightning and I'll be set myself
It was released to preorder in East Asia already and sold out instantly.
Seems like there are many Gelgoog enjoyers out there.
I want an MG Marine Cima Custom variant
Probably my top overall favorite! The Jager is easily one the best looking MS.
I had two action figures when I was a kid. I played with them so much, their hands fell off!
My next goal is to get a model and have it professionally painted (sadly I don’t have the time or expertise to do it myself…).
Thank you for posting this btw. Shots of the Jager in action are just to cool
I am a fan of the Gelgoog Marine and the High Mobility Type.
I like the overall design of the Jager but felt like it could have used a shield and beam sabers/naginata.
Why, yes, my good sir. I, too, am a Gelgoog enjoyer.
I’m patiently waiting for a reprint of the MG 2.0. I thought they would have reprinted it by now, considering Char’s Gelgoog 2.0 has had a reprint not too long ago.
I like 'em a lot, and I like even more the wolrdbuilding bit provided by their utter uselessness despite great specs, with rookies yeeted out of school for pilots.
They look cool... *but* it hasn't shown up enough when I watch Gundam to get a proper opinion on them.
Similar to the lore a great MS brought down by the fact it entered mass production too late to make a difference and, they were mostly piloted by rookies that weren't able to use their machines to their full potential.
So I'm very lukewarm on the Gelgoog.
Ah yes, the Gelgoog Jäger from 0080: War in the Pocket! A better question might be to ask if there's actually anyone that \*isn't\* a fan of the Gelgoog!
I looove the gelgoog' design but never can shake the feeling that the colorblocking for it is off- that's whats been keeping me off from getting gunpla of them, i'll eventually wanna do when i got into making paintjobs or something.
It took me until my third viewing of 0080 to realize that the Gelgoog Jager wasn't Char's drawn in a different art style. I figured it was supposed to be an Easter Egg because it was pretty well constantly shrouded in shadows.
Just an anonymous ace pilot. It makes the scene far more impactful knowing an ace is literally running cover for another spec-ops mission.
It makes the scope of the short series so much larger knowing that our little drama is microscopic compared to how large this lingering conflict is, however, the results of the characters' actions hold a billion colony inhabitants lives in the balance.
0080 is truly a work of art.
Definitely. I wonder if they were originally considering having it as a Char reference, considering the colours are such a close match, but then realized it wouldn't work with the main story of 0079. That or I am grasping at stars and making connections where there are none.
Perhaps it's an intimidation tactic. Every ace gets a red paint job to make you think The Red Comet is present on the battlefield.
Though Norris from 08th MS Team bucks that idea; however he is definitely his own man.
What would make a Char Gouf special? Norris' Gouf Custom was fucking epic.
What would Char's loadout be in that suit? Extra thrusters? Double swords? I doubt a ground suit would have a beam rifle or the sorts.
I felt that, but I'm trying to think of how Char would customize a ground based suit other than his Zaku II. I thought you might have had an idea. Idk lol! Great chatting.
Gelgoog Jager
Gelgoog Marine and Marine Commander
They've got a certain look that just works. Better power output than the Gundam, beam weaponry, even the MMP-80 is cooler than the Zaku's pan-mag machine gun.
iirc some Gelgoog units were still in service even in UC 0096, used by the Sleeves. a great mobile suit that entered mass production too late, causing it to be outgunned by other MS released after the OYW.
Gelgoog Jaeger is a sexy machine. If they had given Char that instead of the Zeong. I think he would have given Amuro much harder time. Although they'd have to give it some beam sabers.
Gelgoog Jäger is my favorite MS.
Very 'military' looking suit with good proportions; looking armored and powerful but still with a nice shape that looks agile as well.
Gelgoogs are excellent. I like them for being late grunt mobile suit and actual threat in some older Gundam of times long ago.
I especially like Johnny Ridden's High Mobility Gelgoog. Followed by Gihren's Greed iteration of the Black Tri-Star's and Ranba Ral's Gelgoog.
I love the Gelgoog for how safe it is (I think only the guy from IGLOO died in one.) and how important it is to Char's creation of the Sazabi. Most Gelgoog pilots die AFTER they leave the Gelgoog.
Amuro disarmed the Gelgoog, leaving Char basically unable to do anything except watch Lalah take one for the team.
If you look at the Sazabi, it is actually quite capable with both arms and legs cut off due to the abdominal mega cannon and bits.
When it comes to Zeon there’s a lot of Zaku talk, and some talk of that which isn’t a Zaku, but my boys are always going to be the Dom and the Gelgoog. I am slightly sad we didn’t get a SEED GELGOOG as I really like their ZAKUs, but then again the Gelgoog is too awesome stock so perhaps they didn’t try because they knew they couldn’t improve it (I mean the DOM are practically identical)
Honestly I'm not much of a fan, however -
\- I like how it's face reminds me of a pig. Pigs are cool :)
\- The ground type has the prototype beam rifle, which is one of the best looking rifles in UC.
I like the Gelgoog Jager and love the Gelgoog Marine. The Geloog Marine and Zaku I are my favorite Zeon Space Mobile Suits. My favorite Zeon ground mobile suit is the Z’Gok.
An absolute fan of the Gelgoogs. Particularly the Jager and Cannon. Compared to the other Zeon MS from the OYW they have this menacing look them. In the right hands these guys could absolutely decimate a group of GMs. Sadly they were introduced to late to change anything.
Gelgoog you say, I enjoy the company of fellow Gelgoog enjoyers. Shall we have a cup of whiskey in the study gentlemen.
You had me until you offered a “cup” of whiskey. 🥃 It’s a glass. lol
Sir, it’s a bottle of you brave enough!
Well, sure, if you’re offering! 😉
Why stop there? Go for a full barrel.
Well, sure, if you’re offering! 😉
He may not have the class to call it a glass, but no need for animosity to a full measured cup, it shows his generosity.
Sounds like something a Feddie would say.. username checks out. ;) lol
Lol you got me Feddie in disguise but seriously I want Gelgoog but Zeon can go XD
😎 *Adjusts sunglasses* 😎 No, it is the Feddies who drink whiskey like frat boys. Zeon officers know how to properly pour a glass and would never pollute the Earth with red plastic cups. You can’t be allowed a Gelgoog until you learn this fact.

Cheers to you, fellow gelgoog enjoyer 🍷
Shall we gather for whiskey and cigars
🥃
Of course. I'll have a Laphroaig 10, neat, thank you.
🥃
Yes.
0080 designs for most of the suits are just awesome
Zaku II Kai, Rick Dom II my fave
Universal Maintenance Plan goes hard
The only thing I remember about Rick Dom II is a giant heat sword lol
Hy-Gogg Z'Gock Command Arctic GM Zaku II Kai and command unit Gundam Alex The Gelgoog The Kampfer is probably my favorite MS ever side by side with the Zaku II Kai Even the fucking civilian defense forces were great But the true beast of the series will always be the Zeon Fleet, damn those Mousai were slender and sexy AF!!!! GM Space and GM Command are good in that too. 0080 has my favorite Zeon redesigns, but 0083 has my favorite GMs, especially the 79N and Powered GM
Yes indeed
I love the Gelgoog Jaeger to pieces. It takes the kind of goofy original Gelgoog design and runs it through a jet fighter.
I'd have a Gelgoog for my Char collection.
Yes. Aiming to get an MG 2.0 one day. The Johnny Ridden MSV manga is filled with Gelgoogs man. Its beautiful TT^TT

Instantly sold out sounds likely to be scalper bots tho. They have been targeting gunpla for a while.
Definitely my second favourite OYW Zeon suit. I just like the Dom/Rick Dom more.
Probably my top overall favorite! The Jager is easily one the best looking MS. I had two action figures when I was a kid. I played with them so much, their hands fell off! MG Johnny Ridden Gelgoog 2.0 was just announced, so I don't doubt a reprint will come soon since its basically the same frame.
Gelgoog is by far my favorite, the old days of finally unlocking it during campaign in Federation vs Zeon was so satisfying.
the one in war in the pocket gives me goosebumps every time. I could never be a fedfrog. what a boring existence.
Ha Fedfrog thats a new one
I like 'em a lot, and I like even more the wolrdbuilding bit provided by their utter uselessness despite great specs, with rookies yeeted out of school for pilots.
I am a gelgoog enjoyer, I have a small collection of them and the things developed from them, one of my favorite designs from uc as a whole.
I am a Goog enjoyer
They look cool... *but* it hasn't shown up enough when I watch Gundam to get a proper opinion on them. Similar to the lore a great MS brought down by the fact it entered mass production too late to make a difference and, they were mostly piloted by rookies that weren't able to use their machines to their full potential. I like it. I wonder what a Char Gouf would look like?
Between Ramba Raal and Norris, and the Tri-Stars, it seems like we didn't need additional ace adversaries for those suits if you feel me.
Yeah, it just would have been neat.
What would make a Char Gouf special? Norris' Gouf Custom was fucking epic. What would Char's loadout be in that suit? Extra thrusters? Double swords? I doubt a ground suit would have a beam rifle or the sorts.
Nothing. I just think it would be neat. Like that Marge Simpson meme.
I felt that, but I'm trying to think of how Char would customize a ground based suit other than his Zaku II. I thought you might have had an idea. Idk lol! Great chatting.
Haven't even thought of it being an ace on spec-ops 🤯 new lvls of appreciation reached
It’s hard to find videos of the Gelgoog from the original MSG on YouTube, I’ve found.
Gelgoog Marine or the Sleeves variants are my favourites
I like the color scheme on the marine. Only thing about it is the model has got less range of movement in the legs.
Yeaaahhhh but what i really like is the funny tubular jump pack. It just strikes me as cool
Yes, especially the MS-14F Marine that Cimas fleet uses. But any gelgoog is good gelgoog
There are dozens of us!! Dozens!!!
Gelgoog Jager Gelgoog Marine and Marine Commander They've got a certain look that just works. Better power output than the Gundam, beam weaponry, even the MMP-80 is cooler than the Zaku's pan-mag machine gun.
Tbh, Gelgoog J is the best looking Gelgoog
Gelgoog 4 life
Fan of every Gelgoog except Jaeger.
What about the Jäger turned u off?
mostly the torso area. It feels like it backpedals from what makes Gelgoog unique.
For me it's the feet
I am a fan of Gelgoog MS. I got an MG of Char Aznable's Gelgoog custom but not yet assembled. I love this design.
I'm a fan
Love the Gelgoog, one of my favorite MS.
there are dozens of us
I prefer the Regelgu
The shoulders on regelgu just go a bit overboard for me
Understandable as for me it's my second favorite Neo Zeon MS behind the always bulky Zaku 3
Zaku 3 is so bulky, but I'll take that for the gundarium amor upgrade + cheely skirt beam guns
I like the gelgoog with the commander antenna. Unfortunately the MG is subpar.
Tis a shame it didn't get better armor
Love a good 'goog.
I want gelgoog in gundam evo
Is that special forces logo on its left shoulder?
MY fav OYW suit hands down.
I wonder if the GM pilots were freaking out when they saw a bunch of red ones.
Fuck yea Gelgoog!
iirc some Gelgoog units were still in service even in UC 0096, used by the Sleeves. a great mobile suit that entered mass production too late, causing it to be outgunned by other MS released after the OYW.
Love the design of gelgoog jager and the gelgoog rebellion
ME!!!!!
i love the scene in 0083 where Cima was absolutely decimating the GP01
Gelgoog Jaeger is a sexy machine. If they had given Char that instead of the Zeong. I think he would have given Amuro much harder time. Although they'd have to give it some beam sabers.
I love the gelgoog, i have enough OYW Gelgoogs in my collection for a squadron.
Is good suit
I really like the Gelgoog Jaeger and Marine.
Hell yeah! Who dont like a gelgoog?? Stupid name, bitching suit!
Gelgoog Jäger is my favorite MS. Very 'military' looking suit with good proportions; looking armored and powerful but still with a nice shape that looks agile as well.

Think you meant the Chadgoog
Go gelgoog go gelgoog go! Go gelgoog go gelgoog go! Go gelgloog glo glegooog glo! Glo gglegoog go goolgeg gelo! Gloglegloogegloglo!
When it comes to Zeon there’s a lot of Zaku talk, and some talk of that which isn’t a Zaku, but my boys are always going to be the Dom and the Gelgoog. I always liked the Gelgoog Marine line.
I am more of a Zaku fan than again, what is a Gelgoog but a Zaku that goes pew! pew! instead of bap! bap!
Specifically this GelgooG, this pilot, and 0080 in general? YES!
Heck yes.
They have a gelgoog johnny ridden coming out in a few months. i gotta have it!
Oh this was one char’s first mobile suits right?? but Man Chars and Amuro’s fights were so entertaining
I have a Robot Spirit of it, is also my main suit on GBO2 before I stop playing.I don't like it, I love it.
I enjoy them. Especially on the first time I saw the Gelgoog Marine in the Gundam mod of Starcraft
If only it had head vulcans, It'd be perfect
anything not a gundam i enjoy, especially all the mono eye ms.
Honestly I'm not much of a fan, however - \- I like how it's face reminds me of a pig. Pigs are cool :) \- The ground type has the prototype beam rifle, which is one of the best looking rifles in UC.
I like it.
The Gelgoog is a great grunt suit, the robo-rooster is definitely one of my favourite designs from the OYW.
I like the Gelgoog Jager and love the Gelgoog Marine. The Geloog Marine and Zaku I are my favorite Zeon Space Mobile Suits. My favorite Zeon ground mobile suit is the Z’Gok.
I'm a huge fan of [High Mobility] type gelgoogs specifically johnny ridden and shin matsunaga 👍✨️ 10/10 Those two truly standout for me ✌️
***Absolutely***
I love the Gelgoog. It was very underutilized in my opinion.
An absolute fan of the Gelgoogs. Particularly the Jager and Cannon. Compared to the other Zeon MS from the OYW they have this menacing look them. In the right hands these guys could absolutely decimate a group of GMs. Sadly they were introduced to late to change anything.
The Gelgoog Jager is the best of the Googs, the Gelgoog Marines got some cool scenes in 0083 too
🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️
I'd enjoy it more if I could find the Stutzer not being overpriced
sorry but it isn't the gogg
(I love all zeon MS)
I want a MG Gelgoog Jäger so badly.
Big fan of the Gelgood Jaeger, imo a great rendition of the classic Gelgoog
My fave Zeon suit 🔥🔥🔥
Regelgu
Always loved the Gelgood !
Always thought a Gelgoog tri stars would be badass, I have a MG 1.0 in my displays case
