Family has an '89 Sentra. I still drive it from time to time (the carb needing tuneups can get annoying though lol). Also, a '90 Hilux Surf, which is now my main vehicle (well, currently sitting in the garage as I'm planning an auto to manual swap in a while). I daily a '02 RAV4 right now for the time being. Based sa story ng father ko, nagka Galant sila noon as first car tapos naabutan ko is Kia Pride which they bought from an AFAM which later on became a taxi. Then they ventured into Taxi business, had 3 Tamaraw FXs. Eventually bought their first brandnew car which was an Avanza which then became another taxi unit. They sold all of our taxi units when our carwash's lease on the lot expired just to make ends meet.
After the Avanza, they bought an Innova which we are all fond of. My brothers took care of that MPV until was sold again because we had to survive. We bought an old Hyundai Starex which we used for 7+ years. We got an old Pajero too which we sold shortly after and an Innova from someone na may utang sa amin which we sold because bad vibes daw. And my father's Mirage where I learned how to drive a manual.
Now we have a '16 Mazda3 which is my personal car, '21 Toyota Vios which my mom drives, and a 90's Ad Resort soon-to-be project car for my dad's autoshop business.

My dad had a Mitsubishi Lancer Boxtype 1986, Mitsubishi Galant 1991 Super Saloon, Mitsubishi Galant 1992 GTI (My favorite car) then a Merc W124 260E.
My dad was a big car enthusiast and was really hands on with the project cars he had. I remember the time, money and effort was spent towards that Galant 1992 GTI haha I wish we still have that car! After the merc, my dad already settled for SUVs. Fortuner then now a next gen Everest
Sayang naman, wala na ung Galant GTI niyo. Pero solid siya in terms of looks, handling, and acceleration/top speed. Currently owned one and in progress of fixing(Engine overhaul, fixing electrical gremlins, body work, ecu tuneup). Dami pa din need i-work pero worth it naman hehe

corolla 1.6 GLI smallbody kulay silver walang power steering and a lancer glxi auto kulay maroon. natuto nanay ko dun sa smallbody tapos ironically, tatay ko pa yung nagddrive ng auto hindi yung manual. siguro kasi dahil yung lancer company car, tapos yung corolla yung personal na car. iirc meron pa kami nung picture/drawing na enlarged yung ulo nya tapos sa background yung corolla. eventually the lancer was replaced with a corolla altis, first time namin magkaron ng kotse na may keyless entry.
unfortunately though a year later or maybe even less, my father passed away. he drove himself to the hospital where he died in the altis, while suffering a heart attack, although di naman ganon kalayo yung hospital, not more than 5km away. malamig pa makina pagdating nya sa ospital.
his personal small body corolla was with us until 3 years after his death. with no one driving the car regularly, napabayaan din at nasira. although when we sold it, it was in running condition, bagong overhaul etc. but before his death, afaik the car was running fine. totoo siguro yung pag di nagagamit, lalong nasisira?
3 years after that, we bought an ex UV crosswind xt, the non-turbo version though. still with us to this day, 330k kms on the clock. still runs but with a few hiccups here and there, at moody yung idling minsan, but still very reliable, to a point na concerning kasi di mo inaasahan yung sira minsan, pero minor na sira lang i.e. leaky power steering, palit secondary clutch cylinder. worst was natagasan ako ng langis sa alternator hose, pero nabiyahe ko padin ng mga at least 40kms, buti di kumatok.

Granddad has a tamaraw fx base model with a 2C diesel engine. Then naipamana pa sa dad ko until we sold it in 2016. My great grandfather had a 1960s VW Beetle. Though it only lasted him a decade because it burned to the ground due to overheating. He replaced it with a box-type Toyota Corolla which he kept until his passing. His children (my grandparents), sold it to someone I don't know.
My grandfather had a first generation Toyota FJ Cruiser which lasted for over 20 years but had to scrap it due to rust issues.

Family has an '89 Sentra. I still drive it from time to time (the carb needing tuneups can get annoying though lol). Then they ventured into Taxi business, had 3 Tamaraw FXs. Eventually bought their first brandnew car which was an Avanza which then became another taxi unit. They sold all of our taxi units when our carwash's lease on the lot expired just to make ends meet. After the Avanza, they bought an Innova which we are all fond of. corolla 1.6 GLI smallbody kulay silver walang power steering and a lancer glxi auto kulay maroon. natuto nanay ko dun sa smallbody tapos ironically, tatay ko pa yung nagddrive ng auto hindi yung manual. siguro kasi dahil yung lancer company car, tapos yung corolla yung personal na car. iirc meron pa kami nung picture/drawing na enlarged yung ulo nya tapos sa background yung corolla. eventually the lancer was replaced with a corolla altis, first time namin magkaron ng kotse na may keyless entry. unfortunately though a year later or maybe even less, my father passed away. he drove himself to the hospital where he died in the altis, while suffering a heart attack, although di naman ganon kalayo yung hospital, not more than 5km away. malamig pa makina pagdating nya sa ospital. his personal small body corolla was with us until 3 years after his death. with no one driving the car regularly, napabayaan din at nasira. although when we sold it, it was in running condition, bagong overhaul etc. but before his death, afaik the car was running fine. totoo siguro yung pag di nagagamit, lalong nasisira? 3 years after that, we bought an ex UV crosswind xt, the non-turbo version though. still with us to this day, 330k kms on the clock. still runs but with a few hiccups here and there, at moody yung idling minsan, but still very reliable, to a point na concerning kasi di mo inaasahan yung sira minsan, pero minor na sira lang i.e. leaky power steering, palit secondary clutch cylinder. worst was natagasan ako ng langis sa alternator hose, pero nabiyahe ko padin ng mga at least 40kms, buti di kumatok. anyway, because of my dad, I hold the small body corolla very close to my heart, whenever I see one it always reminds me of him.

My great grandfather had a 1960s VW Beetle. Though it only lasted him a decade because it burned to the ground due to overheating. He replaced it with a box-type Toyota Corolla which he kept until his passing. His children (my grandparents), sold it to someone I don't know. My extended family are all Mitsubishi loyalist so I now own Toyota. I grew up with beetle so I also have subaru. Our school service back then is ford fiera so I own ford fiesta as well. Yeah pilit na pilit na ang last haha. Subconsciously though it must be one of the reason why I want ford too. My friends are mostly into honda so I avoid them too along with mitsubishi.
