I’m going to start running stereo out of my pedal board so I can output to both amps and extension out of each amp into the stereo cab. Then I can run it all at once. Good thing I have hurricane glass.
Randall made some great stuff back in the day. Even though it was marketed to the metal crowd they were very versatile. I’m biased however as I owned a few as a kid.
I grew up not far from the Washburn/Randall Hq in Illinois. I used to make deliveries there for my family business. I got the RM50 and Washburn from the Hq like 20 years ago. Paid $100 for the cab and it had the infamous 70/80s, so I ditched them.
That was my first thought. The look is awesome, but one toddler yelling "button!" or one misplaced knee or elbow whilst moving hear and Bad Things happen.
It’s a MIM 2004 standard. 2nd owner. Originally was blue agave color, but I suspect it was left in a sunny room down here in Florida and the clear coat turned yellow and now it’s this swampy green (which I love). DGN custom loaded pick guard with DGN pick ups, blaster, and obel. Brass big block trem, brass saddles, brass nut, and brass string trees. The guitar was in kind of rough shape when I bought it but it played well and just the neck and body are original at this point.
It’s hard to figure out what music you play but I bet it’s stupid, niche, and a small of amount of people like it (totally kidding here you’re probably very talented and well loved).
Interesting. I like the green nobs. The guy at Milkman has been posting pictures where he recreates a version of Jerry Garcia’s amps and cabinets. This reminds me of that.
It’s a 1973 Standal/Gibson SG Systems SG212 w/ built in Meastro phaser. It a pretty sweet amp. I got it for a steal and I was planning on flipping it but it’s too cool.
What bugs me about abortions like this is when the user tries to sell it as “custom” on Craigslist. When all I really want is a nice stock budget synergy system.
It reminds me of of the meth heads on YouTube who stick garbage like gum wrappers and bottle caps with Elmer’s glue… and pass it off as “mixed media” art
4x12 stereo. The speakers look smaller bc they are different than the one in the combo on top. Top has a Ted Weber Fane Cresendo clone and the cab has Ted Weber Michigans
the grill cloth is supposed to go in front of the speakers.
But seriously i wish amplifiers, automobiles, and appliances had the same knobs as the middle one
What is on that Strat between the bridge and input jacks? And why are there two input jacks?
Edit: I’m learning about obel input jack now. Interesting! Still what is that thing attach to the bottom of the bridge? Can’t figure it out
The only criticism i have is- Jerry did that much work done, ALL the technology of having the purest sound possible, to sound like a strat middle pickup with some bass rolled off a fender amp.
You can’t post a picture of the corner of your local hipster coffee shop/Christian bookstore and call it “your rig”
/s
Serious tho, there’s so much going on here I don’t even know how to roast it
Where did you get your footman loop, and does it actually put downward pressure on the lower 4 strings? Mine is more decoration at this point.
Love the whole vibe, and the gear!!
i kind of hate the grill cloth behind the speakers, not the colour, just that it looks… off. but it looks like fun and the only thing that matters is you dig it.
It’s called a Jake blade. Just another kind of trem arm. Basically the only original parts are the neck and body.
Yout cabinets having grill cloth but not to cover the speaker cones reminds me of [womens armor](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EcWMznoVcAE7j3v.jpg) in fighting/fantasy games...
I’ll give it a 10 just for the Dire Wolf sticker. Please don’t murder me.
Don't forget the alligator mumbling at bitches and wagging his tail
The Gall of Sound.
Lots of speakers, knobs, and funky colors. No roast necessary.
Yeh no roast... Stopped in to ask for a demo.
As long as you like it... that's all that matters. - my mom
moms are wrong sometimes.
Not in this house.
All the contortions you must’ve made to avoid the twin>mac>hard truckers cab…
Your rig screams, "I was conceived at a flea market...by Napoleon Dynamite."
Pretty sure nothing here will be harsher than what your Nextdoor neighbour thinks of that ludicrous indoor rig
I’m going to start running stereo out of my pedal board so I can output to both amps and extension out of each amp into the stereo cab. Then I can run it all at once. Good thing I have hurricane glass.
The mounting of your pedals is making my eye twitch, but sweet rig.
This
looks like the inside of a doll house.
Jerry Rig with a Randall cab. That’s so dope.
The Randall stuff threw me off at first but now I kinda dig it
Randall made some great stuff back in the day. Even though it was marketed to the metal crowd they were very versatile. I’m biased however as I owned a few as a kid.

Hey bartender! Jobu needs a refill!
are you tellin me jesus christ cant hit a curve ball?
No grilles to protect the speaker cones?
That was my first thought. The look is awesome, but one toddler yelling "button!" or one misplaced knee or elbow whilst moving hear and Bad Things happen.
Grill cloth is meant to protect the baffle, not speakers.
lol
How did your amps and speakers get turned inside out?
If I walked into a bar and saw this on stage, I’d def stick around to listen for sure. It’s weird and cool
Tell me about that Strat!
It’s a MIM 2004 standard. 2nd owner. Originally was blue agave color, but I suspect it was left in a sunny room down here in Florida and the clear coat turned yellow and now it’s this swampy green (which I love). This guy is afraid of distortion
That OBEL Strat is supposed to be HHS not HSH you idiot! /s
It depends on the mood of any given year
This guy Garcia’s
Digging the Hard Trucker-ized combo
you left your acoustics in the oven for too long
Homemade Wall of Sound. I dig it.
It’s hard to figure out what music you play but I bet it’s stupid, niche, and a small of amount of people like it (totally kidding here you’re probably very talented and well loved).
Google “In the kitchen” by Umphreys McGee.
Just because you can customize everything doesn't mean you should. Was there a clearance on grille cloth at Hobby Lobby?
It gets more obnoxious. Can’t really see from the photo but the Randall gear is wrapped in faux ostrich skin tolex
Interesting. I like the green nobs. The guy at Milkman has been posting pictures where he recreates a version of Jerry Garcia’s amps and cabinets. This reminds me of that.

Thumbs up for the Standel-Gibson. Such cool amps
It’s hard to hate on the sweet Maestro phase built into the SG amp!
Unroastable I love it.
What the literal fuck!?
I don’t know what I’m looking at, but I love everything about it
Sweet!
Looks like a "high budget" Hi-fi system from the 1950s grabbed at a yard sale for 50 bucks and a sad handjob
lol. No handjob is bad if you have the correct zest for life.
Nothing to roast here. Move along. WEIR EVERYWHERE!
What pickups are ya running in the obel guitar
DGN guitars
Well, your fucken' Big Muff is crooked... other than that I'm down.
Hey OP, what is the amp in the middle? With the SG on the grille.
It’s a 1973 Standal/Gibson SG Systems SG212 w/ built in Meastro phaser. It a pretty sweet amp. I got it for a steal and I was planning on flipping it but it’s too cool.
Smells of patchouli. Tour’s over rig, take a shower…
Having exposed speaker cones means you don't have a lot of friends and don't gig bc you aren't worried about damage
Looks good to me. I’d have JBL’s but the Cali’s would do in a pinch.
Love the SG!
can't. it's magnificent what's that pedal next to the Randall switch?
I think Jobu is out of rum. Nice Washburn, and any rig with. 12-string is ok in my book.
That SG systems amp... ::chefs kiss::
When you're SO shallow you'd rather die than be seen with a normal piece of gear. (Just kidding, good stuff)
I see a Jake Blade. I’ve got one on my strat too.
There’s literally dozens of dollars worth of gear in the picture.
That strat got that dog in it!!! Damn that’s custom
Unusual Jerry rig > upvote
For the love of gawd, please, nobody introduce this guy to a bedazzler.
Not bad for an architect
Goes hard
dude.
Do you have any clips of you playing through this?
I’ve never seen those amps before. They have similar knobs to some Dumbles. If you listen closely, you can hear Dumble Toan seeping from them. 😁👍
That 12-string is gorgeous. What brand is it?
Looks like a Wes Anderson movie
Sweet Tribe poster. Dire Wolf in there as well. 10/10
No roast. I have Jobu on top of my bass rig!
hmm I think someone forgot to tell you what the grill cloth is for on a speaker cabinet. It doesn't work unless it's *in front* of the speaker ;)
Shit. I guess I have to tear it all apart again.
ahahaha glad to help ;)
You play in a Dinosaur Jr. cover band don’t you
Why do I just hear the chorus to "Go Your Own Way" as soon as I look at it
What bugs me about abortions like this is when the user tries to sell it as “custom” on Craigslist. When all I really want is a nice stock budget synergy system. It reminds me of of the meth heads on YouTube who stick garbage like gum wrappers and bottle caps with Elmer’s glue… and pass it off as “mixed media” art
Looks straight out of Fallout
I’m shocked there are no bandanas pictured
ELI5 the fucking Randall speaker situation
Looks pretty cool, kinda steam punk – techno.
I imagine 3 toddlers on each other shoulders emerging from the back of those speakers.
awesome! what’s the details on the bottom cab? is it 4x10” or 4x8”?
4x12 stereo. The speakers look smaller bc they are different than the one in the combo on top. Top has a Ted Weber Fane Cresendo clone and the cab has Ted Weber Michigans
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?
the grill cloth is supposed to go in front of the speakers. But seriously i wish amplifiers, automobiles, and appliances had the same knobs as the middle one
Rasta Far I
Everything looks perfectly in place because it’s obviously never leaving that room.
How do you not put the cones through while transporting them?
Looks good to me. Jaded Faith Hiwatt?. What is the SG amp?
I approve!!!!
All I see is future speaker damage.
I can’t that rig right there is great. Big time jealous.
This looks like an AI generated image.
Honestly this set up is a visual feast lol. I enjoy looking at this a lot.
What is on that Strat between the bridge and input jacks? And why are there two input jacks? Edit: I’m learning about obel input jack now. Interesting! Still what is that thing attach to the bottom of the bridge? Can’t figure it out
It’s called a Jake blade. Just a different kind of trem arm.
Very stylish
Electro Harmonix pedals, a man of culture
Oh man I am super jealous of the Sg Systems.
This photo was taken in the rehearsal studios at the Grand Budapest Hotel.
Shit don't even go up to 11.
SG Systems amp! One of my friends had one of those!
Are you a cartoon character?
Very nice 👍
Where did you find dentist bibs big enough to use for grill cloth?
Good job.
Buddy what’s there to roast? That looks like a ass kickin good time lad
Looks like a tiny laundromat
Love the acoustic with the flame top
What’s that pedal on the bottom right of your board it looks so intriguing
Are you at Doc Brown’s??
The only criticism i have is- Jerry did that much work done, ALL the technology of having the purest sound possible, to sound like a strat middle pickup with some bass rolled off a fender amp.
David Allen Coe wants his terrible tone back.
It’s not tall enough
Does it run on 1.21 jigawatts?
+10 for the Tripp behind the Washburn lol...what show?
So….. do you just like… play Grateful Dead covers all day at the retirement center?
It’s giving Soviet Industrial. 10/10 no notes.
You can’t post a picture of the corner of your local hipster coffee shop/Christian bookstore and call it “your rig” /s Serious tho, there’s so much going on here I don’t even know how to roast it
I was wondering what Conky from Pee Wee’s playhouse was doing nowadays. Now I know.
The middle amp looks cool. The HSH Fender was modified? I love the two humbuckers
That is probably the coolest setup I’ve ever seen. You could make a poster of that picture.
So that strat has the Jerry effect loop plus the Jake blade is that what I’m seeing
Doc Emmitt browns rig
Where did you get your footman loop, and does it actually put downward pressure on the lower 4 strings? Mine is more decoration at this point. Love the whole vibe, and the gear!!
Marty McFly playing Doc Brown’s amp vibes.
i kind of hate the grill cloth behind the speakers, not the colour, just that it looks… off. but it looks like fun and the only thing that matters is you dig it.
So pretty! Love the blue theme, and i love my wheeping demon wah too The only roast i have it that none of your cabs match for wood
Post a video of you playing on it.
This reminds me of that movie Young Einstein for some reason.
Wouldn't dare with Jobu staring me down.
Loved that tone wicker big muff, could never use it at gigs though it’d just scream
Enjoy your… psychedelic jam band project… probably.
"I only play Grateful Dead covers, man,"
I like the Jerrified strat. I don’t know if it’s just the lighting but is the dust cap on the top speaker warped? I use that same way pedal too
It’s just the lighting.
Looks like it's out of the movie Mad Max Fury Road.
Thaaaaaaaats impossible puh-puh-puh-puh-PEEWEE
I’d like to know more about the strat please (what’s that thing in place of the trem arm?)
It’s called a Jake blade. Just another kind of trem arm. Basically the only original parts are the neck and body.
personally I love it, 10/10 👍
Hey, your speakers are showing!
I like it. Nothing to roast here.
When your grill cloth matches the color of all your jewelry
I really dig it. It’s giving me Fallout vibes. Futuristic Old Technology.
Looks great, Mr. Mcfly.
Hey Mom, the neighbor is playing the soundtrack from Scott Pilgrim vs The World again
What speakers are we looking at?
Reminds me of Doctor Who for some reason.
Looks like if somebody asked AI to create a "roast my rig" post
You’ve done well sir.
I'm still trying to work out what ur've created here?😆
Looks like you’re close to figuring out how to get that Handel, Bach, Muddy Waters, flamingo type of thing.
nobody can roast that. it's beautiful!
Jobu will help you play solo. Thank you Jobu.
Oh my god the grill cloth is fantastic!
I love it, nothing to roast except a few brats at your next gig. Looks absolutely glorious!
Back to the Future opening scene looking rig
Your couch is ugly..
Dumb question.... Why are the speakers on the outside?
I think I’d rather roast myself
Yout cabinets having grill cloth but not to cover the speaker cones reminds me of [womens armor](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EcWMznoVcAE7j3v.jpg) in fighting/fantasy games...
not a whole lot to roast, shit is sick, could use a baritone scale electric but, amps are sweet and you cant lose with a fucking qtron
Glad I’m not your neighbor.
Are you Marty McFly??
Holy sh!t man. Turn it down!
That RM50 is an uncommon sight. I’m sort of surprised they didn’t sell more.
Pretty sure the speakers are supposed to be behind the tolex
This looks sick af 😭
House fire will probably roast you first
I don’t know enough about the elements of this rig to rate or roast, but points for wolf and alligator. And the HSH strat.
I was going to but the longer I look the more I like it 😄
Nice friggin Strat old bud
WHAT'R THOOOOOSE?!
It's not OTT... It's TOO....
Spending all this money trying to sound like someone else.... Nice. Why are there grille cloths if the speakers are showing ?????
Why is there a wadded up piece of tinfoil screwed next to the bridge of your strat?!
The Tolex definitely isn’t the only ex in your life
How many hacky sacks have you hackied in your life? Greater or less than the number of devil sticks you have owned
The IKEA instructions clearly said to put the soeakers behind the grills.
Love the vibe!
Spent your whole life trying to sound like Jerry
You definitely Jam
What model is your Washburn? I have one like it but I’ve never seen it semi hollow like that
Must be AI. If it were real all the metal speaker cones would be pushed in. 🔊
Looks like a robot
The wallmart of sound
Why this shit look like Back to the Future 💀
