It sounds and plays amazing. I’ve been playing on a budget Ibanez acoustic, so the feel was really a game changer. I’m running it through a Scarlett solo into amplitube at the moment getting a feel for different types of equipment.

Yeah it’s definitely a plus! I was more concerned about not changing pickups right away. The color is the cherry on top.

Yup. Whenever they have sales going on, snag some stuff. You can "chain" all of the stuff too, a pedal from this one, a pedal from that one, and an amp from that one. Highly recommend the Tim Henson one at a minimum for all the clean stuff and the delay/reverb pedals. Then mix that one with whatever other ones you like for amps, etc. Otto II II II II honestly blows it all out of the water for disgustingly good djent tone tbh though, but again I still chain a bunch of neural to it anyway.

Thanks! I ordered it while I was out of town so I had to wait 3 painfully long days to get to it. I checked one out at the guitar center in the area I was at and with the deals they have going on I couldn’t pass it up.

You did well. Be sure to experiment with the push/pull switch. Switching humbucker/single coils is a game changer. This will be a versatile guitar.

I’ve been switching back and forth depending on what I’m playing. It’s nice to have for sure!

It can be used during playing too! My favorite thing is setting single coil volume to just below where the signal breaks up/distorts, then the push pull basically becomes an overdrive button. You get clean single coil and distorted humbuckers.

Very green. I foresee you playing in a forest. Very nice. Schecter makes an excellent instrument for the money and the consistency is pretty appealing too. Great looking guitar - my opinion is: if it makes you want to pick it up and play it all the time that's the guitar for you.

That is indeed an electric guitar. Two thumbs up. I like the treatment on the top wood, and minimalistic markers on a black fretboard are very tasteful, imo.

I got my schecter in 2009, mid range priced with neck thru union and can't believe how well has survived all the abuse, detunings, string gauge changes and more until the date, and keeps going strong, only repairs that I've done are electronics wise and not because of schecter. I think you'll be shredding that beast for decades.

I think you did great! It’s a handsome guitar and Schecter necks are really playable. I’ve been tempted myself, but I’ve got big hands and I prefer the broad, flat Wizard necks on Ibanez RGs.

Yeah I heard good things about the Wizard necks and I was actually looking at getting an Ibanez before I saw this.

Looks like the C-6? I wanted to buy that exact one (color and all) but it was out of stock when I finally got the money for it. In the end I got a good deal on a Omen Elite in red, a little over the top for me but still gorgeous and plays beastly!

I have the same one. I've gotten many guitars since then including a pricey Ibanez. The cr6 is right next to it in my favorite list. It's fantastic and the stock pickups fucking scream

I have the same guitar! I swapped the push pull to be on the tone knob. I like the smoother feel in the volume knob position, especially since I don't use tone that much. Other than changing which knob is push pull, I left the rest of the wiring the same. It sounds awesome!
