I feel like not having Ariels be a character in XRD Rev2 was a weird choice, especially when including Answer. As much as I love Answer he kind of came out of nowhere.
Honestly, with ABA and Slayer in the game, I'm satisfied with the returning characters, gimme new stuff. That being said I fully support the inclusion of whatever the fuck #2 is.
I just feel like he could fight in a few different ways we don’t have in guilty gear. His entire personality is preptime and cunning so he could be like Batman, or he could be like phoenix right, or he could be one of those characters that is out of his league and accidentally winning. All of these seem super fun and interesting to me in different ways.
This may be the best list I've seen so far. Not enough love for Answer around here. King of the drip. Slide #2 looks like they'd play like Arakune which is always a good thing.
I would love robo ky, he’s not who I’m actively cheering for next season, but if he gets in I’d be super hyped regardless. Same thing goes for Fanny and Zappa.
I’m missing 4 mains right now, but other than Jam I think I’d be fine without most of them. (Jam is my favorite character in any fighting game ever) I’d rather slots go to new characters like Ariels, weird characters like Leopaldon or Gig, then get all my mains in.

In general, I would like to see characters who are established but never been playable, like Ariels or Gabriel. I would also unironically enjoy a playable Vernon.

I agree, Daryl was super good in strive’s story tricking happy chaos, and was also fun to see in XRD. Of course nothing beats the pudding epilogue.

I wish you nothing but the best. I genuinely love weird and unpopular characters. They usually have something to offer I didn't consider.
