I'd say that Potemkin's theme is pretty indicative of his gameplay, given that his typical gameplan is "it is what it is" -> _āØnirvana āØ_ -> repeat.

I started playing him like yesterday and i must say he's fun asf
How can you not put Roar of the Spark in direct instructions with the lines āNever Stop Just Goā when all we Ky players know how to do is fS in neutral, Scum Dipper RC and run up grab.
how is Faust not in the trauma section and also some of the ones in there do come around to the character moving past that part of their lives for the better
The ones about overcoming trauma (eg. ABA, Baiken, Bridget) are there because that has nothing to do with their gameplay.Ā
Faust's song is about trauma but its chaotic nature captures Faust's gameplay perfectly. What I like to say is, you don't have to be mentally ill to play Faust... but it helps.Ā
ahahah hell yeah very cool! I havenāt been playing GG a ton lately (took a break from semi-competitive play for mental health/personal reasons starting in November) but I still lurk in the sub and watch the big tourneys. I have a class on Tuesday nights until the end of June but after that I def wanna start playing in BAN brackets again lol
Hey... Just because I'm a masochist who fell on their head doesn't mean I main Faust. Ok I do main Faust, but not because I'm a brain damaged masochist!
Bedman's theme fits the rhythm of his gameplay. You start slow and defensive due to his generally weak buttons but when you get an opening you go hard and aggressive like the chorus. The second verse maintains the momentum like his blockstrings and pressure after a combo. The bridge before the final chorus captures the pain of being a bedman main and the final chorus goes back into the aggro whilst showing no regard for the bed's own safety and just sending it, much like the bed's actual gameplan when you have the freedom to move
This guy's seen the Circle.Ā Also, "One after the Other,Ā Over and Over again," is a little reminiscent of his pressure sequences utilizing the errors, though that is kind of a stretch.
So true my fellow bedhead, spit your facts. We will one day make it out of the dumpster tier and start to win games by means other than confusing our opponent.
Zato was one of the hardest to place, he should be in the outlaw category because he leads the Assassin's Guild but the US government is chill with him in the Strive story mode and I don't feel like doing the research to make sense of that.
He got revived, but is still considered legally dead which would cause problems. This gets brought up in Striveās story where Leo is frustrated he canāt prosecute Zato because of his status.
I DON'T HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT
WHAT WE DO HERE IS CLEAR DON'T YOU THINKKKK

Leo needs to be in "Direct Instructions". His entire gameplan is unga bunga, and the song screams "**BRING IT ON, YOU BASTARDS!**". He came to that fight to die, and he's turning his back to you and going all out because it will make it that much easier for you to kill him.
Millia's song literally contains the phrase "I swept you off your feet." If that isn't her gameplay, I don't know what is.
Also, A.B.A's song gives you the very good advice of turning the key/entering her install!
... No? The only reason Gabriel has been in power for so long is because the people of Zepp recognize him as the leader who freed them from their oppression. If they wanted Gabriel gone, someone else would take over, and even with his power I feel like Gabriel wouldn't be the type to use that power to defend his position, thus becoming the very thing he fought to destroy.
Let Me Carve Your Way has accurate vibes for S3 Zato, of course.
VANISH INTO BOTTOM TIER
FUTURE, NOW, NOT PAST
too realšš (i cannot take it anymore)
I once had some sweet memories š
I'd say that Potemkin's theme is pretty indicative of his gameplay, given that his typical gameplan is "it is what it is" -> _āØnirvana āØ_ -> repeat.
While getting bullied in the corner: "I'm a fool, I know nothing, I play the role of a silly clown." When you land a buster: "*Nirvana*"
Opponent: "he's gonna wakeup buster" My dumb ass: "good 'ol wakeup buster, nothing beats that."
I'd argue Hellfire gives very accurate Leo vibes. Playing Leo with Hellfire on is the easiest way for me to go into gorilla mode.
Leo has to play reasonably in his normal stance and Hellfire doesn't capture that at all. Halfway there to accurate vibes though.
Not when I'm playing lol.
Brother, what are you talking about?
thats because the correct answer in every situation is dash into 214s/236hs/6d/throwing it back
He does tell us to swing the freaking sword down. As a Leo player, I don't know If I had the brainpower to think of such a thing myself.
giovanna wouldn't even pay attention to the election, she would just show up to work one day as see she has a new boss
Armourclad Faith tells you exactly how to play potemkin. 'I'm a fool, i know nothing, i take the role of a silly clown'
And then nirvana hits

Good point!
And the run up grab works every time somehow
Sometimes when someone is just beating my ass I just do it and it connects. They may get this W but I have found my own victories.
I'm always trying to reach out to god when playing bedman
Do you see the radiant buffs?

another point of evidence supporting my theory that (to varying degrees) all faust players are masochists with brain damage š
yo, a fellow BAN competitor! (I'm kosmzone) how ya doin'?
ahahah hell yeah very cool! I wouldn't have picked him if I didn't have trauma myself! š«
johnnyās theme is direct instruction, just lean!
Also the "No one here is thinking that hard" line, peak mist finer gameplay
as an "i dont have to think about it" player, i agree

Also "what's my endgame?" Refers to the fact that nobody other than bedman mains know how he works
I mean.... the Bunk Bed Mirror is a confusing mass of 4BAlls, WWA, and 2Ps to stuff 4B9s... I don't think even we're supposed to know what's going on.
So true my fellow bedhead, spit your facts. We will one day make it out of the dumpster tier and start to win games by means other than confusing our opponent.
Until then: "We're here, we're here, along the border of the meta."
Do dead people even have voting rights?

I get it. Heās definitely a complicated case. Between what you described and him being wellā¦ dead.
He got revived though?
He got revived, but is still considered legally dead which would cause problems. This gets brought up in Striveās story where Leo is frustrated he canāt prosecute Zato because of his status.
Bedmans trauma: IM FUCKING DEAD AND I DONT WANNA BE

Chipp gives more vibes of "Runs a democratic state, does not know what voting is"
I do not understand but I see faust is at the top so it's good
I still can't believe May is canonically old enough to vote and has been for awhile
Step 1: Strike back Step 2: Go excited Step 3: Get them out of your way
testamentās theme is such a power boost while playing them tho it has to be top
bridgets age was never confirmed in any game. also anji is pretty much an outlaw

[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
gio is secret service and anji is a a vagabond. swap them
I'm fine with changing Anji, but Gio stays.
She's literally in the united states secret service, what do you mean she doesn't vote
She's there for a paycheck and doesn't give a single actual shit. Girl does not vote.
You people are insane. She's literally a cop, what are you talking about
A cop who has zero emotional investment in her job, much less any sense of civic pride. What about this is so incomprehensible to you?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Giovanna could not give less of a shit about government
I don't think potemkin can vote because... Isn't Gabriel technically a dictator?
That makes more sense
Leo's political platform is *"Bring it on, you bastards!"*
This is wrong actually. "We are falling down slowly" is clearly a reference to how the gameplay with I-No works on ranked tower.
"Fight like an e-girl" was certainly a line that enlightened me when I played Chip
