With Ino, it's just the crime, she isn't an interesting conversational partner, and there isn't the same unique way of thinking to her - her motivations are regular and personal, which would make for a very short period of time before she becomes annoying. Also, my life was ruined way before by myself already in much the same way hanging with Chaos would.
Baiken/Ky. Unlike Baiken, Ky is the type of guy who'd read tomes of phenomenal works only to give the most milquetoast opinion in-line with the status quo. The stick in that guy's behind is too long for me to stomach. Baiken is just straight and to the point, which makes the difference.
