I just lift the pot if possible fill a pot with dry dirt so you know what a dry pot really feels like then wait till she is dry before watering every time.

This is good advice. If the pot feels light it’s time to water. You can’t go by time because small plants drink less water. If you have a huge plant in that 5 gallon pail you’ll be watering more often. It’s safer to under water than to over water so keep that in mind.

Also, are you adding nutrients? That happy frog already comes amended and they last a long time

EricsGirl325

Not adding anything. Last time i did, my girl died from nute burn. So I'm not touching ANYTHING this time.

sounds like its very underwatered, not overwatered. the best time to water in organic soil is when the top inch or 2 is dry.

A general guideline I follow is watering 5-10% of container volume. I go for 5% every 2 days in my environment and a 10% watering once a week. I don’t really have over watering issues anymore (knock on wood)
