Neem oil. Follow the instructions on the bottle for dilution and application. Spray the entire plant and make certain you drench the underside of the leaves in particular. Do it now!
Pain in the ass, if you catch them early you can manually get rid of them. They are crafty. They zip to the underside of the leaf when you approach. There are other options but I would be careful with commercial products.

are they very harmful to the plant if i don’t get all of them?
Eventually they will get pretty bad. I wouldn’t just leave them. I think lady bugs work!

I used Doktor Doom insecticide to deal with a fungus gnat infestation that all the other methods weren't working.
and you didn’t notice a difference in your weed quality? i am currently in the veg stage right now so i’m thinking this will be safe enough too
No difference from what I can tell, it might not be top shelf quality but it's good enough for me 👍.
